Even the pilots greeted the passengers as they exited. All the other airlines just want my money, they want to cram me into smaller and smaller spaces and want me to sit there and shut up so they don't have to interact with me. I will fly Delta every chance I get, even if I have to pay more money."

Cons: "Delta airlines has very poor costumer service. THE WORST I HAVE EXPERIENCED. I wasn't the only one feeling this way, I witness a couple people fighting on the phone like me. When my 1st flight was delayed I asked to be rebooked then and the delta employee insisted that I would make my connection. I didn't make it. This is not all. I could have gotten to a near city several hours after but on the same day, but the mediocrecy of this employes did not allow me to get there until the next day at 7 am. Happy new year to me. This two women (or one of them) on the phone, lied to me. There was an option to get me here and one of them failed to do their job right AND LIED TO MY FACE ON THE PHONE. Just unacceptable. I will sue them, I had an under age waiting for me in Cancun and a pet with me!. With no food or access to do its necessities. AND THERE WAS AN OPTION THAT "they missed" on porpuse."

AA could truly learn something from their more modest counterpart. I have all but decided to resume my drives to Denver every other week rather than risk more and more time and poor experiences with AA flying in-and-out of Colorado Springs."

Cons: "II spent $502.20 on a flight that ended up a complete disaster, ultimately costing me even more money to fix. UA411 ORD -> LAX -> SBP ORD - LAX take of was delayed. After landing we sat on the tarmac without explanation for about an hour, which caused me to miss my connection to SBP. I ran the ridiculous gate change distance through the airport and arrived 1 minute prior to scheduled take-off and was not allowed to board. They left behind at least 8-9 passengers (that I saw) that were also delayed from the ORD-LAX flight – this is probably 1/3 of the flight. It's absurd. I then waited in the Customer Service line for 30 mins and was told I have to go online to request my flight credit for the flight I wasn't allowed to board. I was also told to request a credit for the rental car that I had to arrange last minute online. United did absolutely zero to assist. The next flight out wasn't until after 11am the next day, which caused me to miss a prepaid event, which was the entire reason for my trip. I had to drive over 3 hours in the middle of the night arriving 5am the next morning due to United Airlines' incompetence."

Cons: "I could not select my seat online, so I was assigned the worst seat. I was all the way in the back and in the middle. I could not lean back at all. The headrest was too high. I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time. My entire neck and back hurt by the time we made it to our destination. This aircraft should NOT be used for flights that last more than 5-6h. In addition, since I was all the way in the back, I didn't have food options - I was given whatever nobody else (that got food before me) wanted. If I had known this, I would have brought food with me. And again, all this could have been avoided if only I could have selected my seat online."

Attendant even went as far as saying "This is why I prefer working with first class" to his co worker, making reference about a passenger. And even went as far as saying "I really need a drink after this one" when the passenger overhead his first comment and asked him why he's being so rude to her family and no one else. Also didn't bring us or the passenger behind us any water when we asked, and when asked again, he rudely said "You will have to wait, can't you see I only have two hands. I haven't gotten to your row yet" which he had, and passed, which is why the man behind us mumbled to us, and we made a request too."

Later on, learned that some mechanical problem was the cause, so delay understandable, but someone should have made an announcement to the waiting passengers. Due to conventions in SF, we were told, we had to be put up in Santa Clara, down in Silicon Valley, an hour away. Expecting major morning traffic jams, we asked for a 5 am shuttle (plane leaving at 8, plus having to go thru security again). Since it took 2 hours from landing in SF at 10:30 pm to getting to the hotel, there was little time for sleep and no food available at the hotel at those hours. The shuttle drivers seemed confused, relying on GPS to guide them and speaking little English."

Cons: "The aircraft was extremely small. Being 6'4" it's a challenge to navigate to and from your seat. I was pleasantly surprised that I could fit in the seat."
