Cons: I began asking for my wheelchair escort the minute I got off the plane. I was assured in Houston they would be there when I got to Detroit. They were not. The request was clearly spelled out on my boarding pass along with my personal oxygen equipment information. I kept asking different staff and they would call for me then say somebody would be there. I waited for an entire hour and only when I started to cry did somebody do something. It was terribly stressful.

Pros: They had some weather in atlanta. So they drove us out to the runway and then we sat for 45 minutes with the engines off waiting to leave. I guess it is nice that they want to keep you safe. After missing our connector - they did put us up in a hotel overnignt. However we still had to pay extra for taxi back, parking an extra day at the airport, and extra meals. Oh - and the extra trip to detroit...
Cons: So after waiting 45 minutes on the tarmac - we left and headed to Atlanta. There we landed and waited because they had no gate for us. Then we finally got off the pane and ran to our connector which left without us. We were told they don't hold the plane for less than ten people. So the four of us don't matter. We sat and sat waiting...and then lost another day due to travel.
Pros: This is how my trip started that day. Missed my checkin window by 10 mins do to waiting in traffic for 45 mins, because of wreck. Got to the ticket counter at 8:35 and my flight my was set to take of at 9:30. There wear others in the same boat as me, we where all flying with American. I will Never ever fly with American again! The Lady was so rude then she said we were disgrutle when we ask to speak to a manger about trying to board even though or flight didnt leave until 9:30. Not Military Friendly at all. So I ran down to Lufthansa and talk with a guy at the ticket counter that was understanding of the sistuation, he told me what to do once a Book my trip through Kayak he checked me in and got me right to the front and on the plane for the next flight that left 2 hours after my missed flight. I book my trip and got through Tsa all before my flight with american even took off. When I boared the plane the cabin crew was very helpful and laughing and joking with the passagners their smiles brighten my day and made me feel at easy. I was stressed out about missing my flight with American Airlines and that lady at the ticket counter that when on got my flight with Lufthanse I felt like they were my friends and that I have been flying with them before. I will always use Lufthansa when fliying back home back to the states! Thank you to flight crew and men and women at the ticket counters!!

Pros: We paid extra $200 round-trip so that my 6’4” tall husband and 6’2” son could have extra legroom. There was at least an extra foot of space between the end of their knees and the reclined seats in front of them. Wow. It was worth it! We had the aisle behind business class, and with only 3 middle seats vs 4, even our aisles were comfortably wide. The seat comfort has improved greatly from past flights on Lufthansa. The small pillows at each seat were comfy. We liked that the silverware was actually metal instead of plastic - nice! Loved loved loved the free good quality alcohol! Air temperature felt comfortable to us doing the entire flight – normally these flights are freezing cold.

We missed our other flights and sate still in Washington and will lose a day of our vacation. United wouldn’t give us a voucher since it was supposedly weather related so I had to spend additional $100 for a room in DC.

Pros: This was my first trip to Europe and I flew Lufthansa. They really have it together on this airline. From the two meals served to the alcohol option I didn't choose, to the entertainment options on the screens to the attendants onboard. I can't find one fault with this process. I saved hundreds of dollars through this site! I'm currently only to my original destination and will update when I've returned to American soil.

Cons: Headphones in the back of the seats were two pronged and did not fit the display. Attendants offered appropriate headphones at first of flight, but I did not understand what was going on. Seats were a little hard. Some of the mesh pockets on the backs of seats were not properly attached at the bottom and items placed in the them would fall through.

Cons: screaming and kicking child behind my seat, with no way to "escape". I had a severe cold and that was certainly not something I needed, I tried to get some rest, but that was impossible. The seats are getting smaller and smaller, hardly any legroom whatsoever. Also, what I had planned on bringing on the aircraft as carry on (which was my work equipment, tablet/printer etc), I had to check in as luggage because it was "overweight" meaning more than 8 kg and pay ADDITIONAL $200 (in addition to the $100 I already paid for one suitcase). I've seen many passengers with "heavy" carry on, which they were apparently allowed to bring into the cabin without any problems. I had never had to pay for any carry on, and I am seriously considering using another airline for future business travel.

Cons: Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday.

Cons: Poor communication between delta, KLM and Air France meant that I couldn’t check in online and get a digital boarding pass. Furthermore I couldn’t use the check-in kiosks because my name was listed as Reidmr instead of Reid, which meant that my boarding pass did not match my passport. Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?

Cons: the 2 stewardesses disappeared as soon as the flight was in the air. i upgraded to business class in what was a huge waste of money. the fact that they do not make alcohol available in business class is pure laziness, and these people are loving it. keep in mind that you can have water juice and pop. i was given the water i asked for after take off, and then she promptly disappeared for the entire 3 hours. she only returned when i pushed the call button. not good.

Cons: American isn’t my preferred airline for obvious reasons (delays, notoriously bad service, old planes, and a lack of amenities like WiFi and tv’s), but now I’ll never spend my money with them again. They took me off an already delayed flight after I’d already boarded to examine my smart bag. I know that lithium batteries can’t be taken in the underbelly of the plane and I knew my bag would likely be checked at the gate (why I removed the battery and left it at home in the first place). When they asked me if I had a lithium battery in my bag I said “no.” They then gate checked the bag and allowed me on the plane. After everyone had been boarded (half an hour after we’d been scheduled to take off) they then called my name out on the speaker. I had to then de-board the plane and re-explain to staff that there was no lithium battery in my bag. The staff didn’t believe me citing the infallible logic: “there are ports so there’s a battery.” I told them again and again that the battery had been removed and the charging ports—while there—were inert as they weren’t attached to the battery. STILL, I had to remove all of my clothes from the bag, and open every single compartment (of which there were many) for them to allow me to get back onto the plane. They were telling me that they might have to “rebook the flight” if my bag couldn’t get on. I don’t think I need to explain how agitated/terrified that made me.
Cons: Because our first flight was delayed over 4 hours we missed our connection and had to be re-booked on the only other flight that still had seats that day. We had previously booked and paid for Main Cabin extra seats in the second row that included extra leg room and free drinks. We ended in an airplane with two exit rows, one near the front and the other near the back. Our seats were right behind the rear exit row in the back of the plane. The seats did not recline and there was limited leg look because the exit row seats were aligned differently due to the crew seat next to the door. Also, the bathroom was right in front of the row in front of us and so it was busy, noisy and smelled. Obviously we didn't get our free drinks either. Now I'm having to fight with American trying to get a refund of the money we spent for the Main Cabin extra fees. The fun never stops. I will never fly American again.

Cons: in the airport, the gate area dirty!, bathrooms dirty, no place to charge phone. The walk to the airplane, getting aboard the plane after the gate and flight changed and delayed. Being told it was weather related on the plane and being told it was MAINTENANCE by customer service. The plane was very crowded, the flight attendants never smiled. WHen i told the attendant i was being "rained" on he said...i know its happening everywhere..... he said there was nothing he could do but get me paper towels...they never came. I was very annoyed getting off the plane walking back and forth....it was aweful. and my flight before this was no better i am VERY TURNED OFF BY AMERICAN AIRLINES RIGHT NOW.

Cons: This was a tiny aircraft from Charlotte to Savannah. Our bags were placed into "valet" for the flight. When I retrieved my bag, the handle was broken! Destroyed on a 1 hour flight. This is exactly why people don't like checking their bags. There is no care for other people's belongings. It's bag enough you're packed on these flights like sardines and then you have to worry about receiving your property back the way you gave it to them. Placed a claim, but meanwhile I had to purchase new luggage for my return trip.

Cons: My checked bag, which l paid $25.00 for, didn’t make it on the flight to Pittsburgh. It got there on another flight at 7:30 pm Monday night but no one from American Airlines did anything about trying to get it to me until 11:30 pm. As a result, while l stayed at a hotel only 30 miles from the airport, my bag wasn’t delivered until 2:00 am on Tues, more than 8 hours after l got there. And their website for supposedly checking on lost luggage, aa.com/bag status, is next to useless. It gives no useful information. Use the 800 # but state you want to talk with a human when answering the questions in their phone tree. I’ve had other experiences on AA over the last few years that lead me to question their commitment to customer service. I’ll be avoiding American Airlines as a travel option where other alternatives are available.

Pros: The flight was delayed by more than two hours which caused us (me, wife, 4yo, and 7mo) to miss our connection from LAX to HNL. We had to stay the night in LA and take a morning flight to HNL. But despite the delay, the gate agent in Charlotte did a good job of updating people and remained very polite even when it was clear people were getting frustrated and starting to get sharp with him. Pilots did a good job of trying to make up as much time as possible. I can't remember how much time they shaved off but I think it was more than 20 minutes. Customer service in LA was solid too. Went to CSD to get our tickets changed. They had already changed our flight to a 8 AM flight. We asked if we could take a later flight because of the kids and he was able to accommodate. They also gave us vouchers for 3 meals and a night at the Holiday Inn. Having a delayed flight is never fun but the AA staff was amazing throughout.
Cons: I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it.

Cons: Crew not overly friendly and not very attentive, and there were lots of empty seats so there wasn't much excuse. Also, I had an issue with the plane. I think no screens on a cross-country flight is not good business. Not everyone is savvy with go-go inflight. And if there are no screens, could there at least be outlets? I was so tired after my Paris flight and wanted to chill with some go-go entertainment, but my battery was low and there were no outlets. I know not all flights can have these luxuries, but if the flight is over five hours, I think it should be better equipped.

Cons: I was supposed to make the trip from BNA to CHS at 2:30, we were delayed over 1.5 hours, making me miss this flight by 5 mins. Then I was put on 10pm flight which was cancelled! They couldn't get me to HHH until 6pm the following day. I would have missed my entire conference. The closest they could get me was a 10pm flight to charleston, then I had to rent (AND PAY FOR) a car and drive 2 hours to HHH in the middle of the night. The customer service people were less than helpful. They aren't allowed to help you make car reservation. My flight on the way back from HHH to BNA was a similar story. Thankfully my connecting flight was delayed an hour or there was no way I would have made it.
Pros: As usual Iberia sells you an Iberia ticket and sticks you on their low-cost line, Vueling - small seats, zero service. In flight wifi did not work except to take my money. Did not recieve email or load a webpage in the whole flight. Also crew was completely misinformed about COVID regulations in Spain - insisted we need a PcR test and QR code from online site and that was not true for travellers from Italy. Bush league airline; not what it used to be.

The stress and anxiety of waiting to see if I got on a flight with my new fiancé was wildly inexcusable on Iberia’s end. I am incredibly lucky to have made it on but it is deeply disturbing that Iberia would rely on luck so heavily after screwing me out of a seat I payed a lot for. I would have missed my connecting flights and been stuck in Spain for god knows how long since they wouldn’t tell me other flight information. I am very worried about flying with Iberia again.

Cons: We were in JFK for over 24 hours being lied to and being promised that our flight to Madrid although late would leave that day. We were changed from boarding door to boarding door, we were told that there were no hotel rooms available in New York that they could place us in and told that they were testing a plane and as soon as it was confirmed it could fly we would be on it. At approx. 1am or a little after we (the passengers) from the flight were located at boarding door 7 and they brought an Iberia plane right by the windows in hopes that we would be put at ease at the sight of a possible flight only to find out that there are no flights out of JFK after 1am. The lies they told and or lack of truths was very frustrating

Cons: There was bad weather which understandably caused delays, however the communication during this eventual 16 hour delay was horrendous. We were told for the first two hours that we would be delayed each hour and then they would make a decision to delay another hour. This went on for 4 hours (the last two hours of which we did not receive any updates). The flight was originally scheduled to leave at 8:10. At 12:30am we were told our plane was at the gate and being prepared for us to board and the agent giving announcements said we were "guaranteed to leave TONIGHT". At 1am we were told that unfortunately the plane got to the gate just a bit too late and not the crew are not legally allowed to fly and the flight would be pushed back until 8am. At the time, I thought 7 hours was strange and I'd assume the crew would need more like 8-10 hours to rest. Unfortunately because we were told so late, all hotels were booked up. I live in NYC and would've gone home for the night however because we needed to be back by 6am (what the agent suggested), there seemed no point in leaving. We were not provided with any pillows or blankets until 4 in the morning. At 6am the next morning, we were told the crew needed "more rest time" and that our new departure time would be 9:30. How is it that the crew now needs more time? Shouldn't that have been figured out at 1am? Before we board, one of the agents thinks they will "lighten the mood" with the following comment - "Who would've thought a little bad weather would've caused this?" Absolutely not a time for jokes and people were very angry. We finally board for what we think is finally a 9:30am take off. No - now two new issues - 1, the co pilot is late (LATE? how can you be late when a flight has been delayed 16 hours) and 2, they needed to remove package from the plane for people who were no longer taking this flight. In the end, we took off around 11:30am which messed up a lot of peoples connecting flights, pick ups at the airport, etc. I will never fly this airline again.

Cons: Iberia's flight was late in arriving at the gate in Madrid, and our flight was delayed by 45 minutes (for a one hour flight!). When I arrived at my destination, all the local people (Lekeitio, Bizkaia, Spain) agreed that Iberia is a national disgrace- everyone has had bad experiences flying with them. We have purchased a little apartment in Lekeitio, so we will be traveling frequently, but I will never fly Iberia again.
