Didn't say a word Else to me until it was time to land and my daughter had just fell asleep. She told me. I had to take her out of the baby carrier. My daughter needed a diaper change and there were no places to change her. I tried to change her by the door really fast. The stuardis said no go change in a bathroom I asked which one had a changing station they said none and to just change in my lap. Plus my car seat was broke when I got it back."

When you speak to customer service they talk to you like your a dummy."

As a token of apology, they offered me a free lunch from one of the cafes in the Lima airport. I got to the cafe, and I was able to pick between one of two boring sandwiches. I was more in the mood for a different one that was one nuevo sol more, but apparently that was not allowed with my coupon. So essentially, I got to spend eight hours in the airport for a measly sandwich that wasn't very good. And then my return flight from Cusco to Lima was delayed by over an hour, which was also not ideal (although nowhere near as bad as the original situation)."

Suggest that any changes are given with plenty of notice and loudly and/or on the screen at the departure gate - maybe this has to be negotiated with the Cusco airport. Broadcasts in Spanish are okay for those who speak it but English is lost when announcements are made."

Since I had to be in Washington the next morning, I purchased a $600 ticket online after the gate agent told all of the passengers that United could not get them to D.C. until the next evening. To top it off, they used the same plane with mechanical problems the next morning, which caused further delays. Terrible and costly."

Cons: "The United employees at check in kiosk were very unorganized and unhelpful. I was traveling internationally with a small child and had two pieces of luggage to check in. Normally you just go to the counter once and they do everything including taking your luggage once they weigh it. Instead, I had to go to the self check in kiosk, then back to the counter to weigh my luggage, take off the one luggage from the scale, weigh the second one, then go back to the self check in kiosk, then was told to take off the second luggage as well, then finally went to a second counter where the lady handwritten my luggage tags and then was told to take both pieces of luggage and put them somewhere else altogether with specific directions on where to put them. This is something normally handled by the actual employees. Also, the check in dude yelled at my kid for putting in his name into the check in kiosk while we were waiting on the check in dude to do all those unorganized activities. He claimed it would break the software if my kid were to enter his name. I have told him that no, the software will not break if my child enters in his name."

Then he told me not to give him an attitude. When he gave us a really dirty look about it. He acted like he didn't want to be there and we were bothering him, he was very irritated. I have never in my years of flying, had anyone every do that to me. I give his service a "F", he failed to meet all of his requirements: professionalism, respect, misreprensenting Myrtle Beach, Spirit Airlines and his duties of his job. He needs to be retrained or find another job!!"

New bare bone seats just add to the discomfort of the tight spaces. The elastic straps don't hold anything and the tray tables are ridiculous....not to mention loud ever time someone doesn't realize you have to hold on to it as you close it or it sounds like a rifle shot"

Cons: "My experience with Spirit airlines was one for the books (in a very bad way). First off, my flight to the airport where my flight with Spirit was, arrived an hour and twenty minutes before my next flight left. When I got in line to check in, I realized that I was supposed to check in at the kiosk first, before getting in line. Once I got to the kiosk, however, it wouldn't let me check in because it was 12 minutes after the "45 minutes prior to flight" deadline. After this, I went to the front desk where the woman told me I would not be able to board the flight because I was too late for check-in (which is rediculous; I was 12 minutes late for being 45 minutes early, and I was only late because I didn't know I was supposed to check in at the kiosk first. poor communication!). At this point, she sent me over to another counter to get it sorted out. At this counter, the gentlemen told me the next flight to Lima would leave the next day at the same time. He booked me a flight, but then let me know that I would have to purchase another flight out of Peru to show that I wasn't staying. This is preposterous. I've never had to do that before with any other airline. On top of this, he also let me know that my wife and I would only be able to take one bag each instead of the three we had. This was just the cherry on top of an already awful situation. So we would either have to leave a bag there (out of the question) or buy another $600 ticket just to set our bag in a chair next to us (yeah right!). I was very disappointed. You'd think that that's something the airline would tell us ahead of time since it's only on flights to Lima that they do this. Terrible communication. In the end, we were forced to book another flight with a different airline. Luckily, they did refund us for the $500 we spent on that flight. However, we spent another $500 each to book new flights. That's $500 we had to spend because of Spirit being a lousy airline that communicates very poorly and causes it's guests to suffer for it. My wife and I just got married a couple weeks ago. Spending an unnecessary $500 wasn't exactly in our budget as newlyweds. Not only did we have to spend this extra chunk of cash, but we also had to spend an extra night sleeping on the floor at the airport. Overall, it was a downright nasty experience. Aside from just being an awful experience, this is just a horrible way to treat people. We suffered as a direct result of Spirit's poor communication with it's customers. This didn't need to happen. It shouldn't have happened. It could have easily been avoided. We suffered a lot at the hands of Spirit airlines. I have every right to sue them for the damage they caused us (both financially and emotionally). Spirit caused us a great deal of harm and stress, and we deserve to be compensated for it. If we don't see some kind of gesture of goodwill from this Airline, they will not only lose one customer for life, but my friends."

Cons: "Boarding the group 1 passengers was weird because they didn't give us enough time to line up and all the other passengers lined up way in advance, making boarding kind of slow, but it's not a big deal."

Was expecting an email verification from Spirit confirming the free round trip. 2. Met with them in person once for the confirmation email - didn't receive. 3. For the second try, I called and spoke to a rep for 40 minutes who said the email confirmation would be on it's way shortly. 4. The third time, the experience was exactly the same on the call, and still no verification. 5. Spirits website malfunctioned several times while on full network connection trying to check in for this trip. Frankly, the whole website is cheap, slow, and unprofessional. ... Loading something awesome for 15 minutes doesn't feel very awesome."
