Pros: "Nothing. The plane was late. The WiFi didn’t work. The plane was hot in 90 degree weather and after travelling almost 19 hours I needed a little comfort."

Cons: "The American Airlines crew in Houston gave multiple people the wrong information regarding checked luggage for our connecting flight. Because the flight from NYC was over an hour delayed and the misinformation, several people missed the connecting flight. Hobby closes at a certain hour so I now have to wait until tomorrow morning to retrieve my carry on luggage the American Airlines MADE me check because of the group I was in. I called American Aurlines customer service line and they were not helpful. I will never fly American again."

Pros: "The American airline is a wonderful experience especially during a stressful time to travel. Everyone was helpful. Especially the pilots. They help me order my Uber."
Cons: "The hostess was a little short but she was working alone, Thank you for sitting in front of plane."

Cons: "Full plane with no Main Cabin Extra seats left over = painful flight for someone over 6 feet."

Cons: "The crew on the way to Sydney was a little more present. There was always someone milling in the galley between the business class and premium economy cabin. The crew returning came through the cabin often and were attentive if you asked for them but you had to seek them out."

Pros: "We arrived safely. We were late but arrived safely. When we had to spend the night en route, the customer service desk was very kind and helpful."
Cons: "Crew was grumpy and very unhelpful Lots of mechanical delays Kept being assured we would make our connections despite leaving late. In the end we had to change our route in order to have a chance at making it to our destination that day. Even that didn’t work though; we had to spend the night in Charlotte."

Pros: "For the long flights business class is the way to go."

Pros: "The business class cabin is one of the best in the business with a great seat and onboard product. The food was good and the snack bar is great for when you need something mid-flight. American has one of the best selections of inflight entertainment with tons of movies and TV shows available for their long-haul flights."
Cons: "Boarding at Sydney International Airport was a bit of a chore. There is a pre-screening area where they check passports and boarding passes prior to reaching the gate. People are randomly selected for secondary screening. Give yourself extra time to board."

Cons: "Cabin crew seem frustrated and don't like the work"

Pros: "We hit a very bad bout of turbulence. They were concerned as to our wellbeing and comfort throughout the flight."

Pros: "My wife and I have flown on many airlines. This was one of our best experiences. All the staff that we came across were ridiculously helpful and very understanding. Despite us getting held up in traffic and running quite late, staff members of both American Airlines and Qantas were extremely calming and reassuring the whole way through. Flight was extremely comfortable and entertainment was fantastic. Made the trip really easy."
Cons: "Food wasn't the greatest. Barely touched the breakfast and dinner meal. Supposedly the flight had free wifi, but I honestly couldn't eat that to work for me."

Cons: "No toillt paper,dirty not refreshed for a 15 hr flight. Back row neverhadfood choices and served cold coffee.should start at back also."

Pros: "Like the drink & snack bar that is always open. Crew kept bathrooms maintained reasonably well."
Cons: "They were out of some of the drink and food options. The Vegetarian special meals were poor."

Pros: "The guy at the initial ticket counter was wonderful and took his time addressing my needs."

Pros: "QF operated by American Airlines. First time flying AA from LAX to SYD (typically do this trip once a year). Overall a good experience, much better than I was anticipating. They diid not charge for surfboard, which was great. Plane is smaller than Qantas Airbus 380, so boarding and getting off plane was quicker. Would fly again."

Pros: "It wasn't bad for an American based international flight, but also not wonderful. Crew was great. Snacks were good. The extensive entertainment options were great and enjoyed extensively."
Cons: "The vegetarian options were AWFUL. Like, really really bad. Seats seemed smaller than previous flights."

Pros: "We flew with 4 different airlines on our trip to New Zealand and American Airlines was by far the best. We were comfortable and had plenty of good food and free entertainment. I would fly with American Airlines again."

Cons: "Seats are incredibly close to one another. I'm pretty short (5'5") and I felt cramped to say the least. The food isn't great, it's okay but don't expect to be wanting seconds."

Pros: "I loved the Qantas plane that took us from LAX to Sudney. It was so quiet and smooth, and each seat in coach had very slight improvements , such as a head rest that moved, and cushions that atually felt comfortable. I think it was a new Dreamliner or something similar. AA should use these."

Cons: "Food choices were horrible as was the food quality. Especially for an international flight. AA should be embarrassed that this is the level by which they operate. Entertainment systems were faulty. Many around me had to be restarted. And crew seemed tired and irritated. Willing to overlook the chairs that barely reclined but with everything else operating at a poor level, it was just the icing on the cake."

Cons: "One flight attendant spent the majority of the flight flirting with the guy behind me. Another had a voice so loud that I could hear him through my earplugs and Bose headphones while trying to sleep on the overnight flight. I also don't like that I booked with Qantas and ended up on an American flight."

Cons: "My itinerary said 12pm departure from Sydney to Los Angeles. However, the departure time was 10:15am, and not on Qantas airlines, but on American. It was luck I found out about the changed time. Also, since the airline changed, it took extra time to find the correct counter to check-in."

Cons: "The food was okay but not that good, The male crew steward was very friendly with a couple across from me and gave each of them 8 glasses of wine, even without asking for them, He would just show up with two glasses of wine every 30 mins. All the lady's working were great and friendly."

Cons: "The airlines cancelled my flight. I had an early morning meeting in Sydney so I couldn't fly out on the only other Qantas flight (which was 2 hours earlier than my scheduled). Spent 4 hours on hold with American and Qantas before being rebooked for the following day. Had to pay for another night's lodging and food."

Cons: "I have dietary restrictions and called Qantas and ordered a special meal. Little did I know I was supposed to call American Airlines so I never got a meal I could eat. Apparently Qantas doesn't relay the meal requests to American. Awful service!!"

Cons: "We prepaid to select our seats and when we went to check in our seats had been changed. No apologies or effort was made to fix the situation. They said it happens all the time. They should never charge for seat selection if they do not honor it! Total rip-off"
