I have not met a person yet who has been able to figure out the American Airlines app for entertainment.

Pros: "One flight attendant who was on a plane not scheduled for this flight (much smaller plane than scheduled) so lots of people left behind. Don't know her name but she had the best personality and really took care of a lot of people not happy being late of stuffed into a very small plane."
Cons: "Delays happen but DCA is a pretty big hub not to have a big enough plane to get passengers on board who are already delays. You had to pay $700 vouchers to a whole bunch of folks so whatever profit was possible went to vouchers instead."

Cons: "A wheelchair was requested in Philadelphia, but it was not there. The crew called 8 times, but no one came. I finally grabbed an abandoned wheelchair and pushed my mom through 2 terminals to catch our plane that was already boarding. ☹️"
Cons: "Plane was late arriving from California because of mechanical problems. Then we sat on JFK runway waiting to take off. Pilot said we'd be taking off in about 9 minutes. A half hour later we took off. In the middle of the flight a loud horn went off in the cabin. It lasted for about 20 seconds. It was really quite alarming given the earlier mechanical problems. No explanation ever given."

Cons: "This plane has not been updated since before I was born. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and there was no in seat entertainment, just overhead screens. I was never able to get the WiFi to work. There were no power outlets, and we were never offered headphones, eye masks or ear plugs. I expected more from American since our 2hr flight from Orlando to JFK had working WiFi, power outlets and in-seat video monitors."

Apparently, this flight had been dropped and completely changed to 5 hours later on February 2nd. Kayak didn't care to tell us until the day before. We ended up having to book a new connecting flight which cost us $250. Ive always booked with kayak and now I fear I will never again. I would like a refund for the $250 or a flight stipend. Cons: "The personnel handling the front desk at check in gave myself and others bad information about how to check a bag. Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving."

Boarding was announced in 5 minutes so lines were formed and we boarded 35 minutes later as we had to wait for one extra cabin crew member. We got charged toe all our bags (see SWA). There was human waste in the bathroom."

Then you wouldn't have to threaten your customers to store their small bags under the seat. Then I would have room for my feet under the seat. When I would have been comfortable. I also wouldn't have to annoy my neighbor with trying to move and get comfortable. But instead the exact opposite happened and I'm offended you guys have America anywhere near your name."

The flight attendant, Angel lives up to her name- what an angel! I love her! She was so helpful and attentive and patient. My daughter spilled some juice on her shorts and not only did Angel help me clean up my daughter, she did not hesitate to pick up my daughter’s dirty shorts and neatly packaged it away for me! She went above and beyond her future to provide THE BEST customer service and flight I’ve had in over 20+ years of flying. Thank you, Angel, please continue to excel at exceptional customer service professional!

Cons: "I did not like how we were treated by the United Airline Crew front desk when we were getting our boarding pass, they immediately say that due to myself having a Philippine Passport and A US Green Card holder they needed to check with Japan Immigration and in the end of waiting they said that we can’t board the plane because of my citizenship status and I needed to get a Japan VISA, I felt discriminated for something I do not know about when I purchased the tickets via online it doesn’t even show if there were any requirements needed in order for me to travel to Japan. My overall Review is a big ZERO and Unsatisfactory of how they treat their customers."

Why you are asking customers to download the United app instead of providing onboard entertainment like almost every other airline in the world is unknown to me. In comparison with other airlines (particularly airlines in Asia), it was downright egregious. The airlines top people obviously have no interest in providing any comfort for the those who are unwilling to pay the extra money. I do not understand why the airlines believes people should have to pay for their own meal on a 7 hour flight when they've already shelled out the money for the flight. In addition, why should I have to pay an extra $89 for a so-called premium aisle seat? It's completely inexplicable that the state of all airlines in America have fallen to this level."

Cons: "There were 2 flight attendants. Male and female. The female flight attendant was rude and appeared in a bad mood. And did not offer food to me. I hadnt eaten at all. I was in the very last row. And when the food cart approached she just wheeled right past without asking me. Then we i tried to get her attention she looked annoyed and ignored me. So i just ate ice cubes. It was unacceptable. I could hear her bickering at the other flight attendants in the back. It was so unprofessional."
