Cons: "I was apparently "flagged" by British Airways for extra security checks. As I understood it in London, I was randomly selected for this security check. This then apparently meant that I was to be flagged for all subsequent flights. This meant that in Chicago, after going through two other security checks that day (Zurich and London) and completing customs, I had to engage in a full Homeland security check. This involved removing protective covers from my laptop and phone that were hard to get off (not meant to be taken off regularly) and a full body search that I did not have to do in London. After many hours of traveling, this was very a frustrating experience."

First all the baggage from another flight emptied onto the baggage carousel, and then maybe 15 minutes or so later our bags began to dribble out. Our plane got to the gate a little past 9pm, I barely made it out of the airport by 10pm. It just shouldn't take that long."

Cons: "Flight was delayed due to paperwork and some people were racing to their connecting flights. Lots of turbulence. The seats seemed comfortable at first, but actually hurt my tailbone pretty quickly, while the 17 hour flight we took next did not. Tray tables are the folding kind and a bit awkward. We were in the last row by the bathrooms and our seats didn't recline at all. You had to pay for any kind of snacks other than a little bag of pretzels and a package of cookies. We were in one of the last two boarding sections, and the woman letting us on the plane tried to make us check out carry-on luggage, stating that the overhead bins were full. Well, we didn't want to be without our bags for the next 24 hours, so we argued and she let us "try" to bring them on. There was PLENTY of room back there! It's just the standard line they feed, apparently, so beware if you're sitting in the back of the plane!"

It was cool outside as well and all my winter clothing was in my checked bag. I had not known I would be exposed to the elements at the end of the flight. I could have been warned!"
Pros: "The flight attendant was fantastic. Very friendly, very helpful, checking on all the passengers. He even loaned his phone charger to one passenger. It was a full flight and he was working hard, but had a smile on his face the entire time. Give him a raise!"
Cons: "the airplane was absolutely freezing. It was so cold, you could actually see the air blowing (like in winter). There's no need for that. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

Flight attendants were very nice. Appreciated the frequent beverage offerings to stay hydrated. Overall a good experience."

Cons: "I did not like that the ticket I purchased was a British Airways flight, but it was operated by American Airlines. The plane was SO outdated....it didn't even have personal screens. And the movies they played were old. I mean the Devil Wears Prada...COME ON!!!!! Also, the food on the way to London was extremely disappointing. I had chose the pasta with vegetables, and it was macaroni and cheese with broccoli. And not good macaroni, but more like the kind you make for your kids."
Pros: "Overall the flight was fine. There was plenty of room in the seats and leg room (economy). I'm 6'2" and never felt there wasn't enough leg room or hip room in the seat. There was good service throughout. There were good entertainment options. The food was very good. Arrived early. I checked to purchase this flight directly with AA but found it to be cheaper booking through Kayak choosing British Airlines. I will look here again to be sure."
Cons: "Beware of sitting on the aisle. Those drink carts can get you. This is true with any airline that uses drink carts. Also, I was seated in the aisle seat that went from four seats in the middle to three seats in the middle as the airplane progressed toward the back galley. I was in the last 4 seat across and was bumped constantly by people coming up from behind, particularly by one flight attendant. I will be sure not to choose that seat in the future."

Cons: "While I can't cite anything specific...the flight attendants seemed a bit off putting. While they did everything they were supposed to do, I sensed a bit of an attitude. Also, they only offered food service on request because it was a short flight. Why not give the chance for a refreshment or two. I know they want to save on costs but man...I'd almost rather fly on a foreign airline. They go above and beyond customer service. I'm just nitpicking here. It was pretty good overall."
