Two of my flights were cancelled last minute with little to no remorse, and I had to wait 2 days to catch the next flight. That flight was even delayed more than an hour. I was sick by time I reached my destination. Overall, United would not be my 1st choice due to bad experiences numerous times."

Crew admitted in latest redesign of planes they've managed to squeeze another six seats in coach. My seat wouldn't go back but even if it did, would feel too guilty for person behind to do it - so little legroom on newer planes. They've also cut down on restrooms so for most of the flight there was a line of 5-6 people waiting in the aisle. American Airlines seems to have older planes but at least decent legroom (and I'm not tall - anybody over 5'10 would have to sit at an angle on new United planes!). Been very impressed by Delta's service lately. United feels more like Spirit"

For a business like United, and flying out of their hub this is completely unacceptable. We ended up leaving at 11pm for a flight scheduled at 8. They didnt give anything in the plane to make up for it. No food, no free wifi, nothing."

Making people pay for water is sad especially for a 4 hour flight. Also on the flight from NY to CO the only option was water and not other beverages. The seats were very uncomfortable and the tray table design has a user experience rating of 1 out of ten.

The seats do not recline and are ultra thin, I think this made it more comfortable on the shorter 2 hour flight as it seemed to provide more knee room. I think customer experience could be brought up very easily with better online/app and mobile boarding pass. The plane didn't seem old and seemed inline or slightly above for its price point. I'm ok with no real food or entertainment especially with 4drink being free, but in flight wifi should standard even on a discount flight."

Flights are late without good reason. Gate agents are understaffed, uninformed, and frazzled. Gate changes were poorly communicated and disorganized. Frontier management and leadership: you should be embarrassed."

Cons: "The line to checkin for flight was very long (not enough employees). We were told to go to Gate 20, then told to go to another gate along with two other flights. Waited for hours with no information as to what the problem was or when the flight would leave (same for other two fights). There were no Frontier employees in the terminal to be found to ask. It was all very unorganized! Finally one employee made an anouncement that we had no flight crew. Again waited in line for hour and half to talk to the one employee working the desk. Then waited almost two hours for bag at baggage claim. Still did not get luggage. Had to pay to stay in hotel and book flight on United the next day. When I tried to ask a Frontier employ the next morning where I should go to find luggage he was extremely rude and said I had to wait in line with a bunch of other people trying to check in and others that were on a flight that was just cancelled. There is not baggage offfice like other airlines have - they are too cheap!!. Their fairs are cheep but they nickle and dime you to death with baggage fees and seating feas, seats are cramped and uncomfortable, employees (the few they have) are rude. I think the airline is extremely cheap, unorganized and pathetic. By the way, i filed a claim on my luggage on line as directed by the recording you get when you call (because there is no one to talk to) and now received an email that I need to file claim with the baggage office at the airport. What baggage office??????"

Pros: "The desk agents at San Diego airport were helpful, poor people. I can only imagine the headaches they get from trying to fix Frontier's issues satisfactorily. That is about the only positive thing. Frontier's help phone line was ridiculous and when I finally got a person they were non sympathetic to my issues and completely not helpful."
Cons: "Fair warning: never fly Frontier. My flight from San Diego to Denver and then on to Atlanta was bumped the first day because the plane "broke", which would cause me to miss my connector. The airline put me in a hotel, which was fine (even though I had to pay a $200 security deposit that actually accidentally ended up being $400 and I didn't get back for 4 days). That next morning, I got a text saying my 6:15am flight was delayed by more than an hour, so I called Frontier and asked about my connector times. They told me I would have 10 minutes to disembark the plane and make it to the next gate and, if I did not, I would be stuck in the Denver airport for 12 hours. I asked if that was the case would they put me in a hotel.....they said no. I asked if I changed my flight to the next day would they put me in a hotel....they said no because it was my choice to change the flight (as if that is a choice). Thankfully, I know people in San Diego, so I stayed with them that night. Next morning I take an Uber at 4:30am (at the cost of $30+ dollars) to the airport only to find out that the flight was severely delayed again (no text notice this time from the airline). When I say severely, I mean my 6:15am flight was rescheduled to leave at 10:45am. That would, once again, put me missing my connector. I waited in the line with the 50 other passengers to talk to the desk agent for quite a long time. At first, the agent told me that I would have to wait until the next morning again. I then told him my plight and the events I had already been through. He found a route that would take me at 11:35am from San Diego to Denver then have a 2 hour layover, then fly to San Antonio, then finally get to Atlanta at 12:20am. So, that is me arriving at the airport at 5:00am Sunday morning and getting into Atlanta at 12:20am Monday morning.....over 16 hours with the time change. So, I had to take it. Frontiers way of making up for all of this nonsense? They gave me a $100 voucher to use towards future flights. Basically a worthless piece of paper I will never use."

Life happens delays are inevitable but thy way frontier handled this was absolutely the worse customer service I have ever witnessed For starters after the initial delay the flight was removed from the departure board. Only a single intercom call was made regarding the delay of the flight. After this every passenger was left in the dark. Only by asking other airlines were we able to find our new exit gate and leave time. Tens out that was wrong as well and the frontier employee in staff left as soon as possible and refused to answer questions. I contacted customer support, who belittled me for missing my flight. I was told that the plane had departed at 1245 and that I should have been at the airport an hour before the departure to ensure I was on the plane. During this entire time I was staring at the plane right outside the window. There system had lost track of the plan. After being transferred to a supervisor he spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out where the plane was before he listened to me telling him t was right in front of my eyes. They lost a plane... He then attempted to explain the delay which I already knew more about than him from all of the other passengers pooling our knowledge. The supervisor (id#881311) refused to give me a guarantee or promise that e would provide a way for us to all be informed. As of this point no annocumebts ha been made, the departure board was empty, and all websites stated that we had left an hour ago. However after my phone call in about 10 minutes the website updated to show that we were now delayed until 730. Sill no information was provided in terminal. The entire flight proceeded to go to the ticketing counter in an attempt at some reimbursement for this inconvenience. There was only two frontier employees inside the entire terminal at the time. They had to be badgered for refunds. After hours we were finally given 15 dollars in food coupons... The only reimbursement for this entire debacle. No more information was provided until we boarded the plane around 830. The flight crew provided no reimbursement or sincere apologies and the entire passenger base was treated as if we were the issue. When leaving the aircraft the flight crew was unsure if which baggage claim we would be going to find our luggage so we were directed to three different claims Frontier is a disorganized uncaring and unflinching airline that is only still around by some unknown miracle. They have a 1 star review across the board on all review sites I could find and it was well deserved."

THE WORST thing about the experience was None of this information was available on kayak while booking. I will book from Expedia next time."

Cons: "I booked my flight months ago and when my wife and I got to the airport 2hrs early we could not check in at kiosk we had to wait in a long line to speak with someone. When we got to the counter we were told the flight was over booked and we would most likely have to take another flight. The counter personal was rude about it, didnt even apologize. We got to our gate, the personal there looked at our tickets and said there was no space. After i got upset and explained i was going to my brothers wedding, another women came over (from frontier) still didnt apologize, grab our tkts and gave us seats. Wtf!!! I mean i couldn't believe that after i paid for something i had to get upset to get them to fly me where I paid to go. After we boarded and we were the last to board there were alot of empty seats! I feel like they would of made us take another flight even though there was space. So all that happened in addition to the most uncomfortable seats iv EVER been in and the plane was super warm. I have a return flight and that will be the last time I ever fly Frontier. I will pay $100-$200 more per ticket to not fly Frontier.I will be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience and ensure that our company (Audi) flights are never through Frontier."
