Staff and flight attendants were very polite. Flight was smooth. My seat on the plane was a bit broken so it would not stay in upright position but it was fine for the most part.
Agents at gate were not immediately available to solve problems and once they did they didn’t fix all the fight connections
We used Kayak to reserve our tickets and specifically checked the luggage option which was a more expensive option. When we arrived at the terminal we had to pay an extra $90 per suitcase for the three passengers. This has been a pattern for the past 3 years. Why charge for a more expensive luggage option, and the ticket price not include luggage?

one of the flight attendants on the Dallas to frankfurt leg was somewhat rude..
United has maintenance issues and can then never recover. No operations ability and simple issues always turn into multiple hours long cascading delays. Worst airline on earth.
Check in was chaotic with only one counter for business class and first class. The luggage conveyor belt at JFK airport was broken so the flight departure was delayed which made the flight stressful as I had a tight connection. Although the captain said they could make up the delay, they didn’t do so.
Friendliest Flight Attendant I’ve seen since I flew on Southwest Airlines. The whole trip was outstanding…and arrived Early!
I didn’t have a seat assignment and my seat was very dirty on the flight from Frankfurt to Budapest.
Food was surprisingly delicious. Space in the seat is horrible when the seating front is reclined. Movie offerings were terrible. Crew was friendly and helpful.
There were alot of delays without any information. First, my original flight was overbooked so I volunteered to stay back. The layover was hell, I sat in the airport for 4 hours. I was highly disappointed because no one was around to provide answers.
Great. Clean. Seats comfortable. Food was free. Had new release movies.

The boarding crew was very helpful with a little special problem I had. The inflight crew - so-so.
They kept us on the tarmac for 6 hours after already delaying our flight by 2 hours. No one had any answers. They sent our gate checked stroller to baggage claim instead of giving it back at the gate.
There was a big delay and I missed my connection flight
It was good experience this time. The flight was on time.
The only problem experienced was a ground stop in Chicago due to weather. But the crew handled everything professionally. They prioritized rebooking those passengers who had connecting flights and then deplaning the other passengers. When the hold was lifted, they efficiently re-boarded all the passengers so that we could depart before our departure limit expired.
Our original flight was delayed and we almost missed our layover. Fortunately they delayed the second flight as well due to the number of people being on both flights so we got lucky. But it was due to mechanical issues which was frustrating.
Il y a eu 2 heures de retard, ce qui n' a pas permis de prendre la correspondance prévue. L'absence d'information claire et précise a entraîné des tergiversations avec les autres compagnies et a failli entraîner un retard encore plus conséquent. Seul un renseignement de l'aéroport de Francfort a permis de trouver une solution. Au final, c'est avec plus de 4 heures de retard ( 9h50 heure arrivée initiale, 13h50 arrivée finale) que notre fils et son ami sont arrivés. Cette différence s'expliquant uniquement par la responsabilité de la compagnie aérienne. Une indemnisation est-elle envisagée. Cordialement Mme Giraudo
