Pros: "A male flight attendance made me feel uncomfortable. I sat in empty sit with number 3 instead of 4 and he asked me to check my number on my boarding pass. WIth an extremely directive and dictating tone in his voice he told me YOU SHOULD GO AND SIT to what your ticket says. It is VERY important to be sited, although the seats are available you should be sited where your boarding pass directs you to be."
Cons: "I realized that some people of their crew are extremely insane! I have never had an issue like this, with DELTA or AIR FRANCE, or KLM, or NORWEGIAN, or SAS If it was only one persona that I had to deal with, which it was on my flight from NY to Munich I would say , it was coincidence . One person is not a statistical point and accuse the whole Company. But this was repeated on my second flight from Munich to Athens. Then I said, this is not coincidence, it is a pattern that is repeated and not professional . NEVER AGAIN WITH LUFTHANSA is my decision and my recommendation."

Although comfortable for the ones reclining they are uncomfortable and at times painful ( taller people) and makes watching the screen impossible when fully reclined."

Cons: "flight cancellation was communicated late, with no specific plan how to get to the LAX flight. (The flight was also cancelled the next day; my wife was on that flight; I don't believe it was a technical reasons because of this) Resolving the issue wasn't smooth and needed my involvement to propose a working connection. I am Star Alliance gold member (through United) and this did finally give me a connection."

Pros: "Staff was very attentive to the children. Ability to follow the flight with the cameras. Person in front of us leaned his seat back and I was unable to get out due to an injured left arm. He did agree to move forward when we requested."

Cons: "Because of a family illness I had to reschedule my flight 2 weeks before. Because the flight was booked through a secondary company, rebooking the outgoing flight ended upp: a) costing me as much as the whole original return flight; b) was no longer a 1 stop flight as I also had to stop in Frankfurt plus the company would not allow me to choose directly, I sent them details and then they booked what they could find; and c) I lost both the outgoing flight ( which was charged) and the return flight ( which was not changed) premium seat bookings both of which I had to pay for a second time. If I had booked directly with the airline this would have cost a transfer fee and I would not have lost the premium seat bookings. This was therefore a great expense and inconvenience. I will no longer book flights indirectly when using kayak. In future I will search using google flights and then go straight to the airline sites to book. Very disappointed. I never had this problem when booking with kayak before"

Cons: "No legroom in coach. The person in front of me was sitting in my lap. They are the only airline that weighs your handbag, the luggage you take onboard. E en of it fits the size requirements they weigh it and make you confirm. They don't care if your checked luggage is underweight but your hand luggage is overweight and both add up to less than what you're allowed overall. Makes no sense and is such a useless hassle."

They sat there and watched me for an hour not telling me I could not use cash to check in my luggage at the gate after they told me it was double the amount to check it in at the gate. The sight u use on the boarding pass u download on the phone is not clear. It says baggage fee +$25.00. I thought it was 25.00 till the women in Phoenix showed me the + sign. She said “it is confusing”. I did not buy the ticket because it was for an unexpected funeral of my sister. My other sister did so I didn’t see all the stuff from Travelocity. After telling me it would be $50.00 the check in male and female at the gate saw me sitting there for an hour and never told me I couldn’t pay cash. By the time it was boarding time if a nice woman did not offer to use her credit card and I have her the $50 cash I would have missed my flight. The manager at the gate in Portland even told me I would miss my flight. The two check in staff at the gate said “well we didn’t know you only had cash” and they weren’t even concerned that I was going to miss my flight. It would of been nice of them to tell me this when I sat there for an hour after they told me They we’re doubling the price. I would of had time to go back through security, only pay $25.00 and the other nice passenger would have not had to use her credit card. Very rude and poor service especially after a sad occasion of burying your sister!"

I didn't realise that AA was competing with the budget airlines like Rouge now..."

Cons: "Apparently you can make a reservation for a seat and AA is not required to honor it. They told us that you reserve a seat but you get your seat assignment when you check in to your flight. Apparently many people can make a reservation for one seat and the first person to check in gets it. My husband and I were very upset when we found this out. Especially since we went through many hoops to get a good seat assignment."
