Entry restrictions
Lebanon has reopened its airports with limited capacity.
People traveling to Lebanon will be required to comply with testing and self-isolation measures to reduce the spread of coronavirus. Check with the airline and Lebanese embassy before booking.
Entry requirements
Travelers 12 and over who are arriving from countries with PCR testing capability will be required to take a PCR test within 96 hours prior to travel and take another test on arrival. Certain airlines are covering the cost of this test whilst others may not.
Travelers 12 and over who are arriving from countries without PCR test capability will be required to have a test on arrival. The test costs USD $100 and is covered by some airlines. Travelers will be required to self-isolate, and must take a second PCR test 72 hours after arrival at their own expense. If both tests are negative, no further self-isolation will be required.
From December 22, travelers from the UK will be subject to supplementary COVID-19 measures in addition to the ones already in place. They will be required to take a PCR test at Beirut International Airport upon arrival (which is provided at the airline’s expense), and then self-isolate at their accommodation for 72 hours before taking another PCR test and wait in self-isolation for the results. If both tests are negative, they may leave self-isolation. The same measures apply to Lebanese and resident foreign nationals arriving from Iraq.
Travelers arriving from Syria, Turkey and all African countries, must proceed to their accommodation and quarantine for 48 hours, until they receive the results of a PCR test conducted at the airport.
Travelers arriving from Iraq must have a hotel reservation confirmation for 72 hours for either Golden Tulip Hotel, Kanaan Hotels, Lancaster Hotels, Radisson Blu Martinez or Radisson Blu Verdun. This does not apply to nationals and residents of Lebanon.
Travelers who test positive will have to self-isolate and follow Ministry of Health guidelines.
Travelers who left Lebanon for a period not exceeding one week will be exempt from PCR testing on their return.
Travelers are required to download the Government of Lebanon application "MOPH Ma3an" on their mobile phone and complete a health declaration form before departure, and must have insurance for their whole stay in Lebanon, which will cover in full the costs of medical treatment in case they test positive for coronavirus.
Quarantine requirements
Travelers are subject to a 7-day quarantine. The first 48 hours of quarantine must be spent at a Government of Lebanon approved hotel, while travelers wait for the results of their PCR test on arrival. When they receive their airport test result, if it is negative, they may move to their accommodation. They must continue to quarantine at their accommodation before taking another PCR test (that they must arrange yourself) a week after their arrival. If both tests are negative, they may leave quarantine. Diplomats and their families, official delegations and UNFIL officers are exempt from the quarantine measures, as well as those who have received the COVID-19 vaccination, on the condition that they have proof of vaccination and take a PCR test on arrival as a precautionary measure.
Travelers arriving from Baghdad, Istanbul, Adana, Cairo or Addis Ababa are subject to 7-day quarantine at a Government of Lebanon approved hotel.

So for the price I thought what the heck! I was extremely pleased with the service from the cabin crew. They are always polite, professional, and well trained compared to my previous favorites Delta and Lufthansa. The seats were comfortable (as comfortable as Economy and 24hours of flying can be), the entertainment and aircraft were state of the art, and the food was outstanding for airline food. If I get the chance in the future I will definitely choose Qatar Airways for long trips."
Cons: "Other rude or snotty passengers taking up the crews time and attention for no reason. But as I stated in the "positive" side of this review, the crew handled these impolite individuals with a smile and polite attitude. Kudos to Qatar Airways."

Cons: "Kayak/priceline re-booked my flight for my sister and I from SAA to BA, but failed to completely reissue us tickets. When we checked in for the flight, we had no ticket for the first leg of the flight, but we had tickets for the remaining flights. We immediately called to fix this problem, but due to slow customer service, we weren't issued tickets in time and the flight left without us. We missed all remaining connecting flights and were forced to buy New tickets. Now we have to work with kayak/priceline to get all my money back due to their error. We came back a day later than expected and missed going back to work."

Cons: "The problem was the boarding in Miami International airport, it was quite disorganized even for business class, but more so for economical class."
Cons: "Greedy airline! Qatar Airway is a hyper money hungry scammer who catches customers to rip money off from and creates a super tedious and painful experience for customers to ensure their private gains!!! Qatar Airway was delayed for more than an hour at the first departing airport! NO APOLOGIES OR MUCH EXPLANATION OF ANY KIND!! This is just how mindful and courteous they are. It sets the base tone of what this airline is made of. Then at the connecting airport, they closed the gate minutes before the departing time claiming the gate closes 20 minutes before the departing time, knowing they are leaving customers behind who has checked in and just haven’t arrived at the gate yet. And I arrived the gate minutes before the departure time. They can’t wait?! If so, why is it ok for them to delay for an hour without any explanation not to mention apology? Sure there are RULES. But remember what kind of airlines will have tons of rules that will guarantee you to fail?! Almost always the most shady, scammy and money hungry airlines who use ridiculous or ad hoc made RULES to set pitfalls for customers and ensure their profit gains by doing so!! Remember those European cheap airlines?!! They have tons of rules. You are set to fail even you have a smaller bags than some passengers who passed the gate without penalty. You are just unlucky – they set eyes to catch opportunities to rip you off whenever they can and whenever they are in the mood to be able to come up with lame excuses. With normal airlines, you realize your luggage which has been slightly overweight or over sized will be able to pass through without incurring any penalties. So any saying of rules are lame excuses and are shitty airlines’ lame excuses. The thing is good airlines will delay their flight a few minutes to wait for the passenger. If this is considered too needy of a requirement, then what happens next will shock you and reaffirm you how wrongful and shady this airline is. After missing the flight despite you arrived before the departing time, you have to purchase a full price ticket in order to fly again. As I declined to fly with them again since the ticket is too pricey and repurchased a ticket with another airline, they came up with an excuse that in order to release my luggage, they have to reissue a new flight ticket: so I have to pay both a luggage release fee and a flight ticket fee!!! What a gold digger Qatar Airway is haha. Luckily as I protested, they eventually didn’t make me to pay for a new flight ticket fee except a luggage release fee (really?). The sales office quoted a price of $250 to the luggage office. Then it took me a few minutes to get to the sales office. Strange thing happened, despite I mentioned the communication they are aware of, they are trying to find some “RULES” again to validate that I have to pay for an air ticket. I emphasized that is not the case. As I get irritated, guess what they did? They managed to come up with another excuse that in or"
Pros: "The flight service was great. We had a slight delay on the way back to Doha from Heathrow but they made up for it by getting us through security faster so I didn't miss my flight to Tokyo. Overall the timing was excellent and I got home without having to fork out any extra money."
Cons: "Song selections"
Pros: "Food was good."
Cons: "I didn't appreciate the fact that Qatar opened so late at the Abu Dhabi airport, nor did I appreciate that the woman who printed out my boarding pass royally screwed up and printed gate 8 , when in fact it was gate 3. That was total BS. Supposing I missed my flight due to her negligence ??"
Pros: "Staff was very courteous overall service excellent"
Cons: "Seating... our seating was changed so we did not sit how we would like"
Pros: "Food, crew, in flight services and entertainment were amazing. Definitely recommend this airline for trans-atlantic flights."
Cons: "I flew on the Boeing Dreamliner which is pretty loud. I recommend noise cancelling headphones or earplugs."
Pros: "Quality entertainment."
Cons: "Staff did nothing about crying children for the entire flight. Food was awful."
Pros: "Better crew members"
Cons: "Seats and food.. This should be the last travel with Qatar airways."
