only issue was the flight delayed by 3 hours
The flight got delayed for 4 times while everyone was waiting for hours and hours and finally got cancelled!
There was lots of room on the flight.
We were happy with everything.

Cons: "Why have automated checkin and then still have to wait in massively long line to drop off your luggage. Do it like Jet Blue or Virgin or any of the other airlines.......you show up, auto check in, bag tags, separate line for smart efficient people to drop off their bags and get on with it. Its just so inefficient and puts a complete damper on the trip......maybe curbside checkin also."

Cons: "While checking our bags at the counter we were given the wrong boarding pass (someone else's name on both) so we had to go through security twice. The flight was super cold. When I asked for a blanket for my wife, the flight attendant said it was $7."
Pros: "I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and friendliness of the AC information staff inside the gate area,especially when I was offered an earlier flight by almost two hours. The boarding process went smoothly. The flight crew was friendly, accommodating and efficient."

Sat there for 3 1/2 hours with nothing to drink. Had nothing on way back. Kind of ruined my flying experience. Have to think about flying air Canada again."
Pros: "The flight attendants were GREAT. The seats are crammed so close together that I had trouble getting my under the seat suitcase wedged in. On other airlines, the suitcase fits very nicely underneath the seat, allowing me to rest my feet on the suitcase. I am on the short side, so having the suitcase to rest my feet really helps. On the flight to Toronto, my daughter had to do it for me. On the return flight, the sweet flight attendant put the bag in and took it out for me. I really appreciated that"

Cons: "#1 Boarding was total mayhem. Why do airlines insist on boarding the plane from front to back? Wouldn't it make sense to start at the back and work your way forward? People are NOT able/aware that they need to get out of the wispy and it creates a bottleneck. If the BACK becomes 'zone 1' and you progress forward, boarding passengers are out of the way and boarding can progress smoothly! Worth a try? #2 cart blocked the aisle for 90% of the flight and it was impossible to get to the bathroom. An elderly gentleman had gotten up before service began, and he was stuck out of his seat for close to 45 minutes as the flight attendants wouldn't back up to let him pass. Perhaps the timing of this could be adjusted in the future."

Cons: "The second engine needed for take off had issues so the airline tried to get second engine replaced. Unfortunately the second engine also controlled the air conditioning. We waited through 3 engine replacement tries in the hot Italian summer inside a hot cabin with approximately 150 passengers. Almost an hour later, engine was replaced but damage was done. Many transfer flights had to be rescheduled for later flights. Where was the reimbursement???? Just a million thanks for our patience. Time is money"

Cons: "Our first flight was cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled take-off. upon being bumped to another flight two hours later, that flight was delayed two hours after an issue during take-off. We remained on the plane while mechanic/engineering staff rectified the problem. We booked a flight to save time on driving. We would have arrived earlier had we drove. I understand things happen, but the airline eneds to take responsibility and show some good customer service. Aside from the pilot, no apology given, no reimbursement offered. Disappinting. Air Canada is now a last-resort option for a frequent flyer like myself."
Cons: "Our flight originating in Halifax was 1.5 hours delayed and we knew there was no way we would make our connecting flight in Toronto with a 40 min window to pass through customs, US immigration, and reenter security into the US bound F gates. We requested to be rebooked for early the following day to avoid being stranded in Toronto. Acknowledging it was unlikely we could make the connection, the staff told us that because the computer didn't list it as a "missed connection", they could not take any steps to rebook us. Of course, we missed the connection and were stranded for an entire 24 hours in Toronto with two small children."

Cons: "Check-in person did not attach priority tag to luggage (business class) until i argued with her. This is the second time Air Canada has done this. We paid a lot extra for this service and should not have to quibble with staff in order to receive it. There was no lounge in Charlottetown, but that's not the airline's fault. However, the Air Canada lounge at Pearson was shabby and poorly outfitted. Shameful."
Cons: "Mine and my wife's legs did not fit. The seats were spaced much closer together than is standard, and this made the flight unbearable. I stood in the isle for most of the flight. To make things worse on this 5 hour flight, there was no video available to distract me."

Cons: "Extra charges for baggage; no food whatsoever unless you bought it; staged boarding meant that when we finally were allowed on board other passengers had pinched our overhead cabin space, NOT IMPRESSED; no in flight entertainment unless you had downloaded the AC Rouge player in advance; no recharging socket for tablet devices - so you might just see half a movie anyway. If I pay a lot of money for a ticket, even if it's a budget airline, I expect more."
