Cons: The flight was delayed (again!) for some 40 minutes and I was worried that I would miss my connection flight in Atlanata. Fortunately the pilot made up for the delay (probably costing the airline thousands in fuel). It seems these days that every KLM flight I take is delayed. This stretch goes back to 2015! Yet KLM prides itself as being punctual. Not the KLM that I have been flying!

Pros: The flight arrived a few minutes early.
Cons: The plane was extremely old and in poor repair. The seats were extremely close together. The inflight entertainment system, wifi and passenger electric outlets were all non-functional. Even the wastebin in the lavatory was full and an extra bag was put on the floor.
Pros: We traveled the same way back but with Air France instead, which was a joy. This aircraft was uncomfortable

Cons: In this 10 hr flight cabin crew came down the aisle only twice to offer refreshments. There should have been offers of at the least water or juice more than twice on this length of fight. I was disappointed that there were no hot drink e.g. coffee or tea offered at any time, not even with the meal, but this was certainly the least of our disappointments. Only once on this flight did I see a cabin crew member smile. Don't know why, but they were a most unhappy crew that day and this was conveyed to the passengers. I find this hard to believe, and perhaps both my husband and I fell asleep for the few minutes this would have taken, but neither one of us saw a crew member check for seatbelts and seat position before landing in TO. Boarding gate wasn't announced until an hour before boarding, which on an international flight from a large airport was a little stressful, but I am assuming there was a good reason for this.
Cons: We arrived at the airport at 9:00 to check in for our flight that was scheduled for departure at 12:15 and we were told that we could not check in until 2 hours before the flight (10:15). All of the passengers for flight AZ1466 lined up in front of a check-in counter that displayed Alitalia for our flight. At 10:45 they announced the check in for AZ1466 at a different check-in counter knowing full-well that everyone was lined up for flight AZ1466 on our line. So then everyone that was lined up at the first counter had to line up at the new counter. My wife and I were initially 3rd in line and then after we had to move we were in the very back of the line. On top of that, they only had 1 person checking everyone into economy (which was most of the people on the plane) and they also had to weigh everyone’s carry-on baggage. We were initially told they had weather issues with the snow in Rome and they did not know if we would take off on time or would be cancelled. However, I was getting e-mail messages from Kayak stating our flight was on-time. So how is it that a 3rd party travel company knew what was going on, but the crew at Alitalia did not? Afterward I had to go through security, wait on the tax refund line, and go straight to board the plane. After that we waiting on the plane for 50 minutes and did not take-off until 1:05 PM. These were the problems in short: 1.No one informed us that we could not check in at this particular airport until 2 hours prior to flight departure. 2.They did not begin the check in process until 90 minutes prior to departure. 3.We had to switch check-in lines and they only had 1 check-in person. 4.We had no time to shop or eat lunch at the airport. 5.We boarded the plane and waited until 13:05 to takeoff when we were scheduled to take off at 12:15 (50 minute delay). 6.We received no communications about delays from Alitalia (via e-mail or app). However, we received e-mails from Kayak stating everything was on time. We had no communication from Alitalia about the delay or that we could not check in early (which you could do at every other airport I have been to). We also had a connecting flight in Rome that we were concerned we would miss. We arrived at Rome airport on a delayed flight out of Marco Polo airport (AZ1466). Our 13:40 flight to JFK (AZ610) was delayed until 14:45. After we arrived at Rome airport we ran through the airport to our gate and boarded the plane. After we boarded the plane we waited until 16:10 to take-off (85 minute delay). We did not receive any communication from Alitalia via e-mail, the Alitalia app, or crew members that our flight was being delayed any longer than it already was. We planned on stopping to use the bathrooms in the airport, eat a decent lunch, and shop (which I promised my wife we could do at the airport). However, we could not do any of those things because we did not receive any information about delays from Alitalia. After we arrived home in New York the airline l

Pros: airlines could have mentioned that the second leg would require going thru security again and would take a very long time and that I should do this immediately after disembarking even though a gate had not yet been assigned. As A consequence of an intensive interview process before boarding the international leg of the trip (initially only two reps processing everyone on the plane for a few minutes each) the plane left the gate late. It also lost another 15 -20 minutes in flight making it 30 minutes late and I missed my connection in Miami necessitating me to spend a night in a motel and finish my flight the next day.
Cons: Had the crew enabled me to be first off the plane I would have made the connection but I lost an additional 20-25 minutes being seated in the rear of the plane

Cons: I had a huge passenger next to me who took most of my space the whole time during the flight and ended up hurting my neck and back. I understand it had nothing to do with the crew, but not comfortable at all. Besides, there was no entertainment and even outlet available.

Pros: I loved visiting Kiev and the friendliness and sincerity of the Ukrainian people in general and the aircraft crew in particular.
Cons: I didn't have any luggage but an associate that I met on the flight complained that it took too long to get his luggage and that the luggage was not labeled. I did not understand the English announcements during the flight. Either the audio system needs to be improved or the announcers need to speak without heavy accent or both.

Cons: After selecting the filter for an included bag there was no included bag according to the airport and we were forced to pay a $100 fee per bag and to wait on hold to get a hold of kayak I would have missed my flight. Never use kayak it’s useless book directly through airline instead.
Cons: Every other airline allowed me to carry on my bag, but they insisted I check it (and pay of course). I get in the plane and there's PLENTY OF ROOM. Was only a half full flight. They should have been decent and just let me on with it like every other airline.

Cons: I called the airlines and requested a special meal, and was only provided it one-way so was left unable to eat anything. Water was free, but would only give you small amounts and was very infrequent. Waiting in the queue to check luggage took over an hour. There were only a few attendants, and at one point all attendants left except for the one that was checking in flight attendants. Awful.

Pros: After our first flight had been cancelled, we needed to be comforted by Brussels Airlines that our return flight would be OK. And we were. Though there were slight delays due to technical checks at boarding time, everything else was on schedule and we even landed slightly ahead of time, never a bad thing. The flight was smooth and quite pleasurable. Now we are prepared to experience flying with Brussels Airlines again.

As good as it can be when you pay $2,500 for a flight ticket knowing that they are not really there to offer you a service, they are there to make their own money knowing that as a traveler you really have no options other than an airplane if you want to go across the ocean.
Cons: The difference here is that in a 9 hour flight you want to keep hydrated. Crew seemed lazy...they would not bring water to travelers very often...and when I called a flight attendant with the button call and politely asked if I could have some water, she seemed pretty annoyed and told me I can just stand up and go take my water in the back where they store food. NOT A GOOD SERVICE FOR $2,500!!!! It’s outrageous!! Seats become smaller and smaller...and you keep asking about my experience...$2,500 to travel seating in a miniature seat with no leg room is a bit much...and I know no flight company cares about this...we have no choice...either take that or don’t travel, right?

Cons: The flight itself was good. But the connection wasn't. For this schedule, it is next to impossible to make the connection. The gate that the SEA to FRA flighy arrives at is at least half an hour away from the gate that SEA to MAA leaves from and there is a security checkpoint in between.

Cons: Since we booked online, we were told that we couldn’t pre-book our seats for this flight. So even though we arrived more than three hours ahead, we couldn’t sit together for this nine hour flight. After having the same thing happen on the way to Barcelona, it was really disappointing.
Pros: Flew Air Transat between Toronto and Rome. Relatively open flight and were allowed to changes seats after take off. Food was much better than your average airline. All employees were friendly and helpful (no disgruntled, self-entitled employees encountered). Being a hint over 6 foot tall, there was enough leg room in every seat. Great selection in the personal entertainment system (bring your headsets) and USB port for charging. Although there were many who were testing the carry on limit, there was plenty of room for my carry on. Be prepared to take shuttle from gate and board plane using stairs on the tarmac. Great first Air Transat experience and will fly with them again.
Cons: Not sure how comfortable a full flight or middle seat would be since the seating is 3-3-3. Elbow room may be a little uncomfortable and less leg room. I would go for the rear of the plane where the seating is 2-3-2 if available. Since Air Transat uses a shuttle bust the gate, the gate closes 20 to 30 minutes before takeoff. I wish the Pre-boarding and gate-close-times were published instead of, or with, takeoff-time when booking ( I think you find out this info no earlier than boarding pass). It makes a difference in what time you plan to arrive at the airport and in my opinion, should be included in the travel time, not just time in the air. It felt like I booked a 9pm flight, but oh by the way, boarding starts at 8pm and we'll leave you behind if not here by 8:30. Important info for those of us booking last minute and/or a lesson for the next time.
