The flight didn’t happen because they apparently lost my check in and wouldn’t let me board.
Access to movies was rather confusing. Apart from that, I have no complaints.
As someone who never flies WestJet unless there is no other viable option I have to give this crew credit where credit is due. Extremely well done everyone.
Flight left on time. The crew was very friendly. I had to buy a proper meal. Small cookie and a drink just doesn’t cut it for a 4.5 hours flight.
Experience was good, the wifi hook up is somewhat tough
Great seats, super comfortable, but no in flight entertainment which was a let down
Food good . No entertainment. Need to use wifi to access your own apps. Eg Amazon Prime, YouTube. They don't tell you unless you ask.
Single flights to Cancun purchased through third-party, initially had issues printing luggage labels with the lady at the airport Pearson… Was super friendly and assisted quickly despite being very busy
The 787 was amazing. Listening to screaming and crying children for four hours was horrible. Small children should be in one section. Seats were very comfortable and leg room was fantastic. Information was very generic on timing.
No entertainment system. Paid extra for wider seats but not worth the cost. Flight left a little late and arrived early.
Seats were so small. I’m 6ft and a good 20% of me hung out into the aisle and the flight attendants come dashing with the cart. On multiple occasions they hit me before saying mind your elbows and knees. I’m like, yes, but where do i put them. There isn’t a space that exists that i can fold into. The carts are so close to the seats when they pass through that i regularly felt water dripping on me as they poured drinks. Overall 3/10 experience. Highly unlikely to recommend
Would have preferred a better food menu. Other than that, no complaints.
Flight left on time. Crew was polite and helpful. Flight arrived early at destination. Had some trouble with in-flight entertainment system (not built in to seat-back) but found a work-around. Good experience.
Breakfast sandwich option sold out by row 30 One flight attendant not very amicable (spoke to a few people about her)
Baggage lost and still waiting. Lack of communication. Expect more from our national airline
The boarding was very slow, worse at arriving. The rest was okay
We were able to change seats because of the wonderful Jacqueline in customer Service . My seat allowed me a bit more should we room but the seat was pretty narrow and I’m not a big guy. But I was completely impressed with the speed of the board I g process and the quality of the crew!!
The crew assigned did not start on time due to delays on having a person call off sick and later having a person not wanting to stay on cancun. No screens and also no beverages provided delay for 2 h 15 min
There was a delay and the staff handled it very well
