Pros: "We landed safely"
Cons: "SERVE FOOD!!!! all other airlines are serving and if your serving in first class, then clearly you do not care about the well-being of coach passengers. You can use touch less systems for paying . Don’t be cheap. We’re already paying. I’m losing interest in American air."

Cons: "Suspended food is a rip off, I flew this same leg a month and a half ago got food, what changed, NOTHING...I have flown AA for 20plus years. I never got credit for that flight either. Either they should have left both and let me deal with it OR send me on a flight."

Cons: "Booked flight through British air for a reason. Didn’t anticipate American Airlines being used for our flights. The Flight was also delayed but it was never explained why despite dozens of questions from passengers. This caused a missed connection flight and forced us to stay overnight in Chicago with nothing but a $12 food voucher. When we tried t ask what other options were, American Airlines personal offered no sympathy and said the best we would get is the food vouchers and we should be grateful. No other travel reimbursement or vouchers were offered other than a replacement flight. Overall it was a huge inconvenience and caused numerous other expenditures for us."

Cons: "Although an email was received 3 hours before departure that everything was on schedule, we were told when checking in our whole itinerary had been changed to leave the next day. We had not been contacted and we missed our daughter’s professional basketball game in France. This was the reason we bought the tickets from Kayak to begin with. The cancellations were happening with British Airlines and they were not working with American Airlines to help us out to get to the game on time."

Pros: "My flights were booked through British Airways, but these segments were operated by American. Madrid to Dallas was on a 787 (a very nice ride). Entertainment options were very good (although not as diverse as on British Airways). Food was excellent. The crew was very pleasant."
Cons: "There is not enough waiting space at Madrid Terminal 4S for passengers on large aircraft. Boarding was not as fast and orderly as it should have been. Customs and passport control at DFW is very time consuming (much slower than at many other comparable airports). To change terminals, it is necessary to go back through security and then take a train. It took more than 1.5 hours for me to clear customs and get to another terminal for my connection."

ONCE in 5 hours. My husband and I were crammed in Middle seats 2 rows apart. And we had to pay extra to get those. Because they charge to check bags everyone brings their carryons on board."

Absolutely absurd costumer service in the wake of a natural disaster and I will not be booking with them in the future."

Thought it was ridiculous that we had to go all the way to original gate when we were told we would be loading again on the gate next to the one we just came in from."

Cons: "I didn't receive any notification that my second flight was rescheduled. The airlines had all of my information and I verified it was correct; however, the airlines did not know why I didn't receive a notification. Also, I spent more than 14 hours trying to get home. What should have taken 5 hours ended up being 14 hours with12 spent at one airport. I'm exhausted, fatigued, and annoyed with how this day is going. I thought I was going to be on the next available flight, but that meant one of four standby personnel on a flight overbooked by 2 people. But hey, I still have my health"

She was curt, unfriendly & really made me upset with her bad attitude. Maybe she was having a bad day but I paid good hard earned money for my trip. I at least deserved courteousy & mutual respect."
