People in first class need to pre- order their meals on the Alaska app, so you will get what you want for your meal. Flight attendants were excellent. Knowledgeable. A medical emergency happened during the flight, the flight crew were very good at assessing the situation, and accessing help on board, as well as on the ground. We hit a lot of turbulent air the last portion of the flight, two aborted attempts at landing, and a long while of figure eights over the KC area to wait out the thunderstorms and wind, we arrived well over an hour late. The flight crew instilled calm, and made us feel safe."

Pros: "The flight crew messed up, and didn't see that the people behind my row had a carseat that wasn't aloud to be in the exit row, so they asked my row to switch with them, we all said yes. In exchange for the inconvenience (especially because the seats we were moved to didn't recline) they hooked us up with a ton of free food, movies, and even beers! Everyone was so nice, and our plane had plenty of leg room. To be honest, Alaskan Airlines has become my new favorite Airline"

So on top of a plane ticket that was no where close on being on time going or coming back, there was a 25 dollar baggage handling each way, a $40 upgrade (So I can try an get some sleep as we were 2 hours behind coming home, I understand this was optional) and then 22.50 parking fee. So, a $350 dollar ticket turned into a $350+25+25+40+22 = $460 dollar plane ticket. Alaskan airline is not as good of deal as you might think."

KC to SEA nearly 4 hours late, SEA to KC an hour and a half late. Cheaper, but less reliable. and on top of it all I had to pay 6 dollars for the movie. A movie that was skipping and jumping around"

It seemed like the gate agent didn't care where she assigned guests who were travelling together as several people were not able to sit with their travel companion. Once I was on the plane I however switched with someone to allow them to sit next to their companion and put me closers to mine. Everything else went smoothly."

Cons: "After having my flight delayed 4 hours causing me to miss my connection, I was placed stand by on a different flight through another city so I could try and make it home on time. I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."

After all that, we didn't get any of our money back! I will be avoiding United airlines. Flight cancelation was not their fault but the way they handled the rest of it was embarrassing."

There was very little to do in this terminal but wait to see if our flight would eventually come. There were other United passengers in the terminal who were also waiting for overly delayed flights. eventually, we had a plane that was extremely small, cramped and uncomfortable. United seems to consistently oversell its seats and then tried to get people to give up their seats. Very poorly managed airline with bad customer service. Sadly, I have to say that I have never had an acceptable experience on a united flight. Will NOT take another United flight."

Pros: "I loved the price of the tickets. My children spend the summer between Iowa and Alabama. So we travel a lot. I normally drive to Kentucky to meet up with Grandma to let them go north for part of the summer. However, this year I have planned a honeymoon, and even planned going to Virginia two weekends back to back. I thought I would fly to St. Louis from Atlanta to cut down on the driving. (I tend to get sick on road trips anyway, a flight would be nice). I found these tickets for around $50 each. I needed 3. Got them. The flight to St Louis was quick. We landed 20 mins ahead of schedule. (Made my return trip great as I was back on the same plane and was sorta freaking out about making it back to the gate in time) Landed in St Louis walked to baggage claim met up with Grandma returned with time to spare. The return flight was the same. I did not like the seats. I ended up with a massive migraine no fault of the airline but I would have loved to have been a little more comfortable. It has been a long time from my last flight and this one. The price of baggage went up. (As well as tickets which is one reason its been a while) I did notice that the airline is wanting you to prepay for baggage when you purchase the tickets. In the long run makes in SO MUCH EASIER! And with the most recent issues with TSA and getting through security that speeds things up. I paid for one checked bag. And using the frontier site was cheaper than I would have been charged at the airport. Overall I can't complain. I did make it to and from my destination on time and safely. My bag was in one piece. The seats not being the best is a minor detail. Oh. And unlike some of the other flights this one did not offer free drinks and snacks. I've flown Southwest, and Delta I was offered a soft drink and a small bag of something. I was offered to purchase these from this line. Found it odd."

Pros: "Never flew with any other airlines aside from United until I flew for the first time with Frontier. I have to say, I had a pretty good experience. I didn't expect the best accomidations compared with a major airline. But for a budget airline, I'm actually surprised and happy that there was a straight flight from MCO to STL. I couldn't find other airlines with a straight flight. I also loved how helpful the ticketing personel and boarding employee helped me out and answered some of my concerns. They were super polite and quick to help. They also had a very relaxed/laid back attitude I liked."
Cons: "I understand it's a budget airlines, but I didn't like the fact that you aren't allowed a carry-on item unless you purchase one. Most other airlines would allow one free carry-on and one free personal item. Due to this, I didn't get to pack as much as I needed for my trip. And also, it was not informed that guest had to pay for a carry-on. I was lucky enough to call the hq a day before my flight. It just so happened to be one of my concerning questions. The flight attendants were overall okay, but there were some instances that I felt they were incompetent but also not as thorough. I had trash to throw away and they passed me 3 times before I was able to throw it away. Plus I turned on my assistance light so they would come pick it up, but it took them a good 15/20 minutes to finally check in me and by that time my trash was already picked up. The seats and trays aren't as comfortable as I hoped. And I get it's a budget airlines, but that's also the reason why my flight was less comfortable or entertaining."

Pros: "The new plane, seats are designed to reduce the need to recline. Nice position. I have never booked a flight based on food or snacks!! I was even warned about poor flight schedules...we were on time for both of my flights."
Cons: "I will have to agree with others about the carry-on charges. The "bait and switch" method in marketing leaves a bitter taste. Unfortunately, the crew gets the flack from the passengers regarding the charging process, BUT they handled like champs!!"

Cons: "I had a 2.5 hour flight that landed around midnight-- unfortunately I was unable to sleep at all during the flight. Even though there are no complimentary drinks or snacks, the flight crew turned the lights on for over an hour so they could ask each patron if they wanted to purchase anything. The seats are tiny and I could barely fit my 5'3" frame legs comfortably in front of me. Do yourself a favor and pay more for a real airline."

But when I got to board the plane they told me I had to pay an extra $40.00 for the carry on. Should the ticket agent not of given me this info when I checked and paid for my other baggage? Because of this experience, I will never fly with you again! Teach your staff to give people the correct info, instead of pulling a fast one on them to make more money."

So having to pay an extra $40.00 did not make me a happy customer! You need to let people know of such charges. Note: Also let customers know that when they print their ticket they will have choices not only on carry on bags but also seating on the plane. I took the seat given to me as I was not paying extra for the seat too! Also, I had never been charged for a soda or snack before on any other flights I have been on, So I just drank water! Good to know it was free! :)"

Cons: "Despite the fact that their ticket counter was open for other flight departures, they only allow you to check in beginning two hours before your scheduled takeoff time. This really means you have only an hour and a half until your flight begins to board. On the flight they mentioned wanting more people in the exit row, but you would have to pay an extra $50 because it has more leg room, needless to say everyone chuckled at this blatant ripoff attempt. On the flight you have two pay $2 for a small glass of water, not a bottle but a small plastic cup filled primarily with ice. When we landed we had to wait 45 minutes before the checked baggage began to arrive. Overall this is a very poor airline. Watch out for the fees as they charge you $20 for each airline interaction. I would suggest avoiding them if you can as the price rapidly rises above your ticket cost & the hassles for basic services are not worth the cost."

Pros: "when I reserved my flight I was never prompted to pay for a bag to check or carry on. I would have appreciated knowing that I only was allowed a personal item. Please make that more clear in the future"

Pros: "Flight was for my son. Tried to checkin and was not allowed to, since it just changed to the 45 min mark before departure. Ticket was auto cancelled. Went to southwest and booked a ticket on their direct flight which was to leave 10 min later than the Frontier flight. It actually left 8 min early, while the Frontier flight was still boarding."
Cons: "No obvious warning that Frontier requires checkin 45 min before departure or they auto cancel the ticket. Received an email from kayak 3 hours before departure, no warning there. Did not notice any warning when buying the ticket. Frontier is at the bottom of my list, for choice of carriers."

Pros: "I was not looking for a extravagant experience but rather an inexpensive flight. The flight was just that. No frills,as comfortable as expected. The crew was pleasant. What do you expect when you buy a Big Mac. I will definitely fly with Frontier again."
