Very hair raising ride for me - got in at 2:30 am with another hour to drive home - and I lost a LOT of confidence which I have always had in Jet Blue. Cons: "I fly Jetblue in large part for the robust entertainment system and seats which allow me to sleep. On this particular flight, my seat would not recline. Further, and more importantly, I had the only seat with a broken entertainment system on a 6 hour flight. Worse, the screen was on a loop, where every 30 seconds it would flash bright white light in my face, making it impossible for me to sleep or even rest. I would chalk it up to an aberration, however, my entertainment system was similarly broken on my last Jetblue flight. I am very disappointed. One last issue - we had to stand waiting in line to board for no apparent reason 35 extra minutes. Not a huge deal, but not ideal at the end of a long day."

Cons: "This was the most unnerving, uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. I really do love Jetblue and I know that this particular flight doesn't define you. That being said I was sorry to have to have experienced this. Even sitting on the runway before taking off the ride was uncomfortable as we swerved our way to the take off position. The weather was nice and it felt so strange that were going back and forth as if the path was filled with sharp S-curves. Then the entire flight was bumpy as we went up and down and all around. I would say there was about 20 mins of smooth air the entire flight. Then there was the last 90 minutes which was absolutely terrifying. I know that the turbulence can't be helped but I do feel the Flight attendants were not very accommodating during it. I sat near the back and they just sat there and chit chatted about something they were meeting up to do later while people were up and about when the seat belt sign was on. Then there was a baby screaming for many hours and they never tried at all to help the parents or anything calm them. They mostly just sat in the back, complained it was bumpy and laughed about how people were agitated because of it. I found it to be so much more frustrating that in addition to the bumpy air, crying baby and passengers just roaming around we also had to deal with the attendants laughing about how uncomfortable we were. It was not what I have ever experienced before and I truly hope I never have to experience again on JetBlue."

Cons: "Seats are terrible, and getting worse every year, but thats coach on all airlines not just Jet Blue. Hard armrests, weirdly shaped bucket seats which are appalling in any other position than straight up with 90 degree waist bend. Thats not how humans sit for extended periods of time. A 5 degree recline is not a recline; its a joke. At least the tray table was bigger than my phablet, unlike Spirit where the napkins look like tablecloths on these ‘tables’. Overall, it is better than the cheapest airlines."

Cons: "Our prior flight arrived 30 minutes late and we had to run to the opposite side of the airport. We were there before the departure time but the staff gave us a hard time saying they were going to lock the doors on us. It wasn't until the flight crew ran up behind us that they finally didn't have an attitude and said we were fine. Online entertainment didn't work, no shows, the map doesn't have a time or useful info. My row was skipped by the crew for snacks. The guy came from behind first, which I didn't see and then one the way back, he didn't even look at my row or the row in front of me."

Pros: "Flight 1751 Miami to Cleveland 1/11/21. Flight attendants did not enforce mask policy! Family of four sick sneezing, coughing, short of breath. The fathers mask was down the entire flight. Even when the flight attendants picked up the trash. They were informed after the flight they did not comply with CDC, Department of health, and state policies. Their response was “ I made announcements overhead. Didn’t you hear?”. Appalling endangering customers and disregarding Federal, State, and local policies."

This was a customer service fail. American is no better. They rescheduled the flight at no cost, but then sent you back to LATAM for help with the overnight. If we buy tickets from your website and you own the process, you should be more helpful when there are problems. The back-and-forth was frustrating. Lima airport takes a long time to go through all the checkpoints. Two hours does not give enough time. There are at least four long lines that have to be endured. This process could use some streamlining."

Cons: "At the Lima gate they made each passenger open their carryon and submit to a secondary inspection to confiscate all water we bought past security. No warning was given about this. I had paid airport prices for water to bring onto the plane and then had to surrender it at the gate. Of course in economy class they will not give you water or attention until you are at cruising altitude. More than one flight attendant did not smile and one was actually rude in spite of my attempts to be kind and smile. Except for one friendly person at check-in kiosk, bad service overall. They do not have personal entertainment systems, and it was like going back in time with the tiny screens you cannot see, playing a movie you either watch it or not."

Cons: "My flight from SFO to Miami was delayed so I missed my connection to Rio and now I’m NYC on my birthday instead of my final destination. The flight status was changed 7 times. And AA said they would get my bag off but they did not and now I have to wait at JFK and hope it got rerouted here. And if it didn’t to hope it can on another flight before I hopefully actually get on a flight for Rio. Nobody has comped me for losing a day in Rio and for my hotel room. And this has been the worst flight exeperience or my life which unfortunately landed on my birthday. One I’ll remember in a sad and bad way. American Airlines refused to compensate me because I got my tickets via Kayak and I haven’t been able to find a number to complain to a Kayak agent whom I sure would say I had to contact American Airlines and nobody would help or take responsilvitu for this disaster."

Cons: "We arrived at St Stomas airport 85 minutes profile to our flights departure. The female manager, Latoya, at the desk was overly rude and completely out of line the way she was speaking to guests. Apparently American Airlines requests 90 minutes before departure to check you in, however their website does say they will try to accomadate customers that have arrived late. This employee refused 24 people access to the flight that we had booked and paid for. She related that she could put everyone on standby for the next and final flight out of Saint Thomas and standby for multiple connecting flights from Miami to many different parts of the country. This is because American Airlines over books their flights on purpose and has no problem leaving people stranded at an airport. Another employee related that it was easily accomplished to confirm is for the flight as we would have plenty of time prior to boarding since the aircraft had yet to arrive from its original location. American Airlines would not speak to any of the paid customers and would not look into other flights to see if there were other options to get customers home. When we boarded the plane there were still 4 customers that American Airlines stranded at the airport with no more flights out of the airport that day. This was an absolute disgrace and it was disgusting to see how the American Airlines staff were treating people. Their companies customer service has nothing to say other then sorry. I will never fly American Airlines again and now know why so many other people also feel this way."

It would have been nice if we could've gotten more communication About why we were delayed for so long. It also would've been nice if the pilot would have explained why we had so much turbulence. Plus this fasten your seatbelt sign was on for a very long time because a taxiing for a long time and then waiting to get to cruising altitude, so it would have been nice to have a estimated time of when that sign would have been off. I was dying to use the restroom for over an hour."

The flight was cheap to book but what they didn't tell you when you booked is that you have to pay for carry on. I expect having to pay for checked in luggage but carry ons?? That you have to carry on yourself? And also different from literally every other airline, you have to pay to pick your seats! So yes i paid cheap for a flight but every other generally standard thing cost extra. A can of soda is 2$ which made me laugh so for entertainment there's that. Also loved that when my flight arrived at the gate there was no landing crew to receive us. The captain said either they forgot or they didn't know we were coming. Had to wait for an alternate crew."

I didn't realize that you had to pay extra for all bags (I've never heard of anyone charging extra for a carry on) when I purchased my ticket. I chose Frontier due to the affordability of the fare, however once the extra fees are taken into consideration, this was no longer the lowest price available, and there was certainly no other reason to make this airline stand out as preferable over other airlines."

Locals=in the dark. $15 food credit each is a good start. $100 each emailed so quickly is impressive but it's a credit to a bare bones airline that charges you for a water after their 6 hrs issue. Could have made snacks and non alc drinks free. NO NO NO. We had to pay another $11 for water, apple juice, food and GL of wine. SERIOUSLY. WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT??? Missed several opportunities for "Little things that count". Give all $300 to one of us for a free ticket-we won't be flying with our grandson again. I will give you a chance to fix that. Not a threat a promise."

Pros: "1. Easier to board because much fewer luggage is brought on board. This is because they charge $40 each for the larger carry-ons. The smaller item (fits under the seat) is free. Best way is to check a large bag ($30 when paid in advance), which is cheaper than the carry-on. This is all made very clear on the website. 2. Also, we did not pay extra for a seat assignment, to see what we were given. In both flights, we were given decent seats together. 3. Crew very nice. 4. Very smooth landings."
Cons: "1. The seats don't recline. 2. The tray table is very small (about 4"), so your book or laptop won't fit on it. 3. Seemed to take a long time for the luggage to appear. 4. Frontier doesn't participate in TSA Pre-Check, so you have to go through the long security lines."

Pros: "Nothing. It was crowded and hot. Haven't been that hot in a plane since flying in a Piper without air years ago."
Cons: "Flight was well over 2 hours late getting to Orlando causing me to miss my connecting flight to Brazil. Consequently I'm trying to sleep in a chair in the terminal of MCO because Frontier wouldn't step up to the plate and help with a hotel, let alone pay the $250 it's going to cost me to re-ticket my trip. I can't afford that. God only knows when or if I'll ever reach Brazil. So much for my Dream Vacation. Never, ever do I plan on flying them again."

Cons: "I have never taken a flight where I had to pay to get a seat assigned and then pay a fee for my CARRY ON BAG. The ticket price seemed to be a good deal. All the additional costs made it so that I will likely never fly Frontier again!!"

Cons: "Again, the seats are just ridiculously uncomfortable. My back felt sore and stiff the entire flight and I only rested after taking 5 pain killers at once. Still stiff and sore the following days after the flight! I paid an extra $50 for the best upgrade and the seat doesn't even recline!!! WTF??"

We were forced to get a hotel room overnight to get a flight the next day with no compensation from Spirit. I will never fly Spirit again."

Now landing back into Fort Lauderdale and note a 4 hour delay I find my suitcase has now all broke. Wheels and the 2 prior ones broken now officially broke. Off. It's great if you wanna fly cheap but you literally get what you pay for."

First flight was delayed getting in causing me to miss my connection so I had to stay in a hotel overnight because the airline would not book me on another available airline. I had to talk with many people and wait a long time to get hotel and food arranged. Every representative told me something different. Very unorganized and inconsistent. My second flight was cancelled all together. I ended up paying $500 to fly Delta."

Cons: "Your seats are uncomfortable. Seats that recline are needed. None of the announcements from your flight attendant was audible and clear. Those from the captain were much better. The added costs for seating and bags are ridiculous."

They told me they'd give me vouchers for a hotel and transportation in Fort Lauderdale, but instead booked me on an American flight to Charlotte and didnt tell me. Had to sprint across the airport when the American airlines people called my name over the intercom and nearly missed that flight because of the lack of communication."

Cons: "40lbs luggage limit when other airlines have 50lbs limit. Seats were very tight - had aisle seat and could barely get my legs inside the row. Nickel and dime you for everything. They bill as low price air fares but when you add up the luggage and seat fares you might has well fly airlines where they offer water free."

Pros: "Very friendly, helpful, fair, and hard working ground and air crews. If you pay for a carry-on, you board group one guaranteeing overhead room for the bag."

Cons: "Boarded late, took off late, rude flight attendants actually said to one customer "if you don't like it don't fly us", pilot couldn't even line plane up to gate so had to wait for someone to come move us; they wouldn't do anything to help people who had tight connection; brought us in at gate that was at the opposite end of the airport from their other flights so with late arrival we had to sprint a great distance to get to our connecting Spirit flight. That was a joke because of course that flight didn't board or take off on time either. Of ur 4 flight segments for our round trip to St Thomas, each and every segment had some significant problem and delay."

Cons: "When we arrived to check in, we were immediately told we would not be making our connection, we would be staying in Florida for the night and there was absolutely no other solutions to be discussed and pushed to the side. When I tried to speak with the woman at the counter inside at the gate, she continued to talk on her cell phone, telling me "no, I do nothing for you." I finally said we need to figure out a way to negotiate something, can we please see if any other flights are available that would put us closer to South Carolina. After she reluctantly hung up her cell phone, she searched and said she had a flight to Atlanta but we would be "stuck" there on our own with no luggage and she couldn't do anything about that either. I said I would drive from Atlanta to South Carolina as I absolutely needed to be back the following morning. She said she would make the switch but whatever else happens is on us and not to call her again. She said we would have to retrieve our luggage in South Carolina the following afternoon as she couldn't get our luggage to the Atlanta plane so "don't even ask." I kindly asked her to put my luggage through to our first stop, Florida, we would handle it ourselves. We arrived in Florida, ran to baggage, collected our bags and had them transferred to the Atlanta plane, and ran back through security to make our flight. I can completely understand weather being an issue that calls for no reimbursement, however, the absolutely rudeness and lack of social skills and empathy of the spirit team was disheartening. We will not even attempt to spend money our money with spirit and see if we have a better outcome next time. I will not be recommending this airline and asked my friends to choose another airline for their trip so they would not be treated the same way."

Cons: "If you are not familiar with Spirit, the baggage fees (that you don't know about until you print your boarding pass) will more than eat up the "bare fares" savings. Hands down the most uncomfortable commercial airplane I have ever been on. If you are taller than 6-foot, you will be especially uncomfortable."

Cons: "Called Spirit to make sure their gate was open at STT at the time I was scheduled to arrive at the airport (10:30). Got there and found a sign stating the gate doesn't open until 1:15. So 3 hours hanging around outside of terminal. Other than that, Spirit did exceedingly well."

Cons: "First time using kayak to book a flight through spirit. Heard rumors of the airline and they were all true. I'd rather pay a few bucks more with American or another airline that takes its customers seriously. For a 4.5 hour flight and no reclining seats? The list could go on. Never again."

Pros: "There was no one at the agent desk during the boarding time and that's when we all started to look up the status of the flights. Finally someon showed up but was unsure about the delay time. I had to react quick and purchase a flight with American to make it back in time for work. When I called spirit customer service I was told you missed your flight so no refund. After re-explaining my situation it fell on deaf ears. Reality of this is that I won't fly spirit unless it's my final chance to get somewhere that is an emergency. The seats are uncomfortable and not even water is complimentary. Cheap flight but all the add-On are not worth it"

Cons: "This airport doesn't accept an iPhone boarding pass from SPIRIT at TSA ( the customs guy also gave me a pretty hard time about this but accepted it he could've told me I was never gonna get through TSA with it ---Ugh) All said, I think Spirit Is fine if you travel light and eat before you go but the industry is still treating them like a snot-nosed little sister. They had the worst gate at the airport and the whole boarding pass thing was silly But this kind of very low overhead, nickel and dime you kind of airline has a place in Europe and will soon be more accepted here."

Pros: "This was my first flight so I don't have anything to compare it to. With that said the flight was over all pretty good. The crew was pleasant, the seats had more room than what I expected, and there was no real turbulence."
Cons: "There was not much that I disliked, the only thing I would say was that the flight was some what loud, but that was due to the other passengers."

Pros: "I got to my destination on the day I wanted to. No hiccups once we got moving"
Cons: "Plane was delayed both ways - boarded on time on the way there but then waited an hour on plane (excuse - FAA review). on the way back the flight was delayed 4 hours (excuse - mechanical error, needed to get a new plane). This was a significant inconvenience, less so for me than others as I did not have a connection. The planes were noticeably aged and on the way back fairly dirty. Lastly - may be just oversight of the flight attendants as they had had a long day, however worth a note: on takeoff I signaled for a flight attendant and asked if I could get some food, they said they would be around shortly. After watching them tend to every section but mine they went back and sat down, ignoring my previous food request. I signaled them again and got my food, so it all worked out in the end. Just a bit aggravating after having been delayed both ways. Overall - I had heard horror stories about Spirit and have avoided until this trip. I plan on avoiding Spirit for future flights based on this experience. The "lower" price was not worth it after paying $55 for my carry on bag each way and the certainty of delay."

Cons: "Worst trip ever!!!! Delay delay delay for two days. No compensation. Not even a curtesy flight for the future. $7 food voucher. You can't get anything for $7!!!!!!! Ground crew just avoided everyone instead of addressing our concerns."

Cons: "I hate thar spirit nickel and dimes you for each part of the flight. To print boarding pass at the counter is $10. To choose a seat is between $10-30. Luggage is $35. I chose my luggage before getting to the airport but did not choose seats. I was then unable to update luggage for the remainder of the day. When I went back to check the max weight for my one piece of luggage I could not get to the area on their site I paid for my luggage. I searched and searched as I was packing. I found information on the spirit site stating 50lbs. OK. I got to the airport and was told the max weight for my bag at that price was 40lbs. I had to pay an additional $25. My plane was then delayed because the auxiliary power source died. We had to get towed back to the gate to get a jump start. A few people scared by the issue and got off the plane. We arrived 1.5 hours late. The issue was Spirits. They made no offers for the inconvenience. Not even a free drink. I have also been bumped and stuck over night in as Spirit over books. I DON'T BELIEVE THEY REALLY SAVE YOU MONEY. The price you are quoted on Kayak or similar sitems with Spirit is never the price you pay. IT IS ALWAYS MORE."

Cons: "first flight (MSP to Fort Lauderdale) was 3 hours late which caused us to miss our connecting flight (also with Spirit) by 2 minutes because Spirit was unwilling to do what ALL major airlines have done in my experience of the last 30 years of flying. When your own airline has a delay usually the other plane is asked and willing to wait if we are just talking minutes. No options were offered for FLYING to Tampa for the same day. Waiting another 24 hours is not an option when you are booked into a resort for only 4 nights! After waiting in the airport for almost 3 hours on a promised shuttle from Fort Lauderdale to Tampa we finally left. This was supposed to be a quick break in the sun for my son who just lost his dad. What a terrible way to start our quick get-away. Also main stewart was unkind almost rude on the plane. He was teaching a rookie who was very kind and trying to be helpful but was discouraged to do so I have flown much in my life . This was my first and honestly most likely my last time flying with Spirit."
