Cons: "This flight had the least legroom of any flight I've ever taken."
Pros: "Their was really nothing to like. The plane was late, had to check in a carry on, my luggage was not transferred on time to my connecting flight,"
Cons: "Snack was packaged bread stick bits. No flavor. Must take of headsets for take off and landing."
Pros: "The crew was really extremely courteous - and because it's off season, there was a lot of spare space."
Cons: "The only less than perfect score was food, but the circumstances mitigate that less than stellar note. The warm meal and snack were better than your average over-sweet snack you get sometimes coming from Europe... We had a delay that may have impacted the food (if you keep warm food too long...)"
Pros: "nice crew on the Rome to US leg"
Cons: "Airline food is usually bad but this was inedible. Tiniest seats ever. Outdated entertainment selection. Obscene baggage fees. Never ever again- not worth the ‘deal’"
Pros: "On time and complimentary drink"
Pros: "Good service"
Cons: "Disorganized confusing boarding process, tight seats in coach."
Pros: "All was well but missed my bag and one opened"
Cons: "Missed my baggage and one was opened and wrapping removed"

Pros: "Cheap fares and direct flight"
Cons: "Entertainment very poor. Would recommend a kruger selection of movies and preferably to be available to watch once we are on the plane waiting for take off. Economy class space limited ."
Pros: "The flight itself was pleasant."
Cons: "The trip was apparently booked as a flight to Madrid with a one-night stopover in Milan and yet the ticketing staff told me that I would not be able to check my bag to Milan since it would go directly to Madrid. I found this to be very odd since I booked a multi-city flight through Kayak. I was also unable to use TSA pre-check with Alitalia, which was inconvenient."
Pros: "we arrived on time, left on time. The crew was nice and looked after everyone."
Cons: "Change of gate at BCN with no notification"
Pros: "nothing special"
Pros: "Muffin distribution and the cushion"
Cons: "There was the used cups and dirts left in the pocket of the seat I was assigned. It was dirty and disgusting."
Cons: "Alitalia and SkyTeam still can't figure out how to check luggage through on separately ticketed flights, even if both flights are the same airline."
Cons: "horrible seat ergonomic"
Cons: "Got canceled and we were stuck in Rome. Had to spend $3k to get back to United States. Thank you Air Berlin for nothing"
Cons: "Horrible experience with Alitalia. They boarded us on a plane that had a wheel issue, and kept us on the ground for 2 hours before they decided to de-plane us. We then had to wait in a 5+ HOUR LINE to get rerouted (nope, they won't handle these issues online or over the phone, you have to wait in line). And THEN they wanted us to wait in a 2 hour line to re-drop off our bags. We got stuck overnight in Rome and were put in a horrible Hilton Garden Inn and barely made it in time to use our coupon for a "free meal" (aka, frozen meatballs and stale bread in a buffet that had been sitting out all night). On our flight back, the food was absolutely terrible, the movie selections were old and scarce, and the seats were uncomfortable. We called to complain as soon as we got home and still have not heard back from Alitalia. I will never fly with them again."
Pros: "I had not flown overseas in so long that I had forgotten how nice flying could be. The flight attendants were especially attentive and helpful. Not only did we get a "free" meal, but it included white or red wine if desired. I felt like I was experiencing what flying used to be like in an earlier time."
Pros: "Really comfy headrests and blankets. Easiest plane I've slept on by far."
Cons: "Headset wasn't working so I could watch tv or listen to music."
Pros: "Almost nothing"
Cons: "- Rude crew - Uncomfortable seats - Broken seats - Missed our order for Vegan meals"
Pros: "I didn't"
Cons: "The flight was only supposed to take two hours but instead they sat around for another hour and a half or so and then there was so little leg room that my knees even if I was all the way against the back wall showed into the seat in front of me so bad that I had to stick them out in the aisle and said crooked and then my seat would not latch"
Pros: "Plane in good condition with more than average roominess in economy class with accommodating crew, decent food, and entertainment."
Cons: "In Italy Alitalia was difficult to contact and failed to provide timely and complete information about changes to check in procedures, e-ticket number, and flight identification number changes. Web site clunky at best and telephone tree info all in Italian only. When I tried to check in on line only message was of a "problem" with the ticket. No way to get info even at airport until shortly before flight. Flight departed one hour late. My wife's foot room impeded by electronic control box under seat in front of her. In short, back office and online services poor but flight and plane ok. None the less, will not use Alitalia again due to back office problems."
Pros: "Wine was offered complimentary to the meal"
Cons: "Boarding process was a mess, flight was late due to the confusion. Crew took forever to collect trash after the in flight meal was over."
Pros: "Not much, but food was decent."
Cons: "Oldest plane I've seen in recent years, crew barely acknowledged our presence (talked to each other the whole time), no working air conditioning, and big metal boxes in front of the window seats that take up all of the leg room (yes these seats aren't cheaper."
Cons: "Really old plane, nasty food and rude flight attendants."
Cons: "HORRIBLE seats. So unbelievably uncomfortable"
Cons: "I tried to talk with the service desk to change my flight before the flight and the service team could not help me out because only the service desk outside security could look up other fights. I find this hard to believe and a little ridiculous that AirItalia would make their customers run around inside and outside security to switch flights. We live in a day of technology and have computers for a reason. There shouldn't be an issue why other flights can be looked up from only one computer. In addition, we boarded the plane and then we waited on the tarmac for 2 hours waiting to leave. The air was turned off and it was hot and stuffy inside the plane."
Pros: "Food was ok"
Cons: "Almost 4hours delay, messy boarding, even worse connection, not all crew speaks English on the long haul..."
Pros: "Check in easy."
Cons: "Two hour weather delay Impossible European connection (which I somehow made) No luggage (it didn't make connection)"
Cons: "Seats are to tied , Unprofessional service"
Cons: "Very small seats and too warm!"
Cons: "My flight was cancelled and didnt get information from the hungarian ground staff about the reason. They just changed it for Austrian Airlines but I don't like Austrian Airlines and i had also an Insurance for this ticket. After a long conversation I could fly by Lufthansa with stopover in Frankfurt."
Cons: "The plane never arrive on time, Talked with customer service and was told that I can carry 60 pound of luggage and when I arrived with 59 pound luggage to check in I had to pay overweight. The flight was late again so I missed the connection flight."
Pros: "Check-in was great both coming and going."
Cons: "Food was easily the worst I've ever had. Staff were courteous but not friendly on board. Boarding in Rome was a free for all. Seats were extremely cramped. Bathrooms were not kept clean. The coup de grace, probably not Alitalia's fault, but JFK"s , we sat on the terminal after we landed for 45 minutes waiting for a place to park the plane."
Pros: "The crew was friendly and did their best to help. The flight was on time and arrived early."
Cons: "AZ 316 FCO-CDG, Feb. 1, 2017, Economy. On its Airbus A320 Alitalia has a new section with "Premium Seats". This was done at the cost of the non-premium economy seats. Pitch is unacceptable. When the food cart came I had the back of the seat in front of me 15 cm (5 in) from my forehead. I told the attendants "even cattle could not be handled like that". They commiserated and said "with the changes the we are truly going through rough times." They reseated me to an exit row. Getting a boarding pass online is also a new, unfortunate experience. I have a Platinum Card of AF/KL, which means Elite Plus in Skyteam parlance. My ticket, sold by KL, had an AF flight number. Alitalia pretends now to sell piece by piece all the advantages that are attached to the status (e.g; €8 for early boarding...). The airport personnel confirmed that the system does not allow to print the words "Skyteam Priority" or '"ELP" (for Elite Plus) on the boarding pass. They encouraged me to write to the Powers-that-be that decided to make these user-unfriendly changes. I think that Alitalia, as a Skyteam member, had signed the agreements; they have not rescinded their membership, why don't they just apply the rules? Food: a tiny portion of pop-corn! I couldn't believe it. I will avoid henceforth to fy Alitalia."
Pros: "I liked receiving my luggage 2 days after I got to Rome suitcases were lost by air Berlin last time I'll ever fly air Berlin the seats are crammed horrible horrible experience never again"
Pros: "The food was very good and the crew was very nice."
Cons: "Boarding was an hour before take off."
Pros: "Landing in Rome. Hotel after missing connection flight."
Cons: "Delay of 2 HOURES cosed missing a connection flight to Tel Aviv. Next flighr to Tel aviv 36 houres later !!!"
Cons: "No in-flight entertainment (not even radio). Seat headrests not adjustable, so bad luck if you are tall. Food was the smallest pastry I think I've ever seen. Tray table was dirty when I folded it down."
Pros: "Crew was friendly"
Cons: "I was a 1 hr delay due to a late asigned time for take off"
Pros: "Every thing"
Cons: "DELAY on the FLIGHT back"
