Cons: "Last minute emergency reservation so had to settle for what was available interns of travel class and seating. Could only get into economy and seated at the rear. However the flight was on time the staff very helpful and being a premium One World member really helped. Food was typical airline food,"

They offered me a free cocktail after a family with 3 little kids took my seat to sit together. A cocktail at 9:55am doesn’t really appeal to me however. It was a 2 ½ hour flight so I could grin and bear the discomforts. Everything else went great ...baggage arrived an was in the carousel quickly although the $25 baggage fee slap is annoying on an already over priced flight. I still love Alaska"
Cons: "I am 6’2" and a difficult time with comfort in standard airline seats. Today’s flight with the family taking my assigned seat put me in the last row against the rear wall. Super scrunched for me then to have a very large couple flying non-revenue squash in next to me made it just that much more uncomfortable. I wish if you have kids you would go the extra mile and pre-pick seats like he rest of us .... not a hater people just like courtesy is all."

Cons: "I tried to print my boarding pass at home the day before the flight, with an error message "please see an Alaskan Clerk". I also tried to get my boarding pass via phone with the same error message. I also tried to go through Cathay's website, no luck. Cathays customer service is closed on Sunday, and Alaskan customer service said they cannot help me. I arrived 2 hours before my flight from SLC to LAX via Alaskan Airlines, and they were unable to print my boarding pass in time to make my flight. I waited 2 hours in line with other people also leaving at 6am, almost all of us missing our flight.... I am extremely disappointed and would like a refund for this trip. I ended up purchasing another one-way ticket to HKG, and will take the return flight home from Cathay."

Pros: "We had a flight attendant, by the name of Bob, on the flight from SLC to Sea-Tac. He was very animated and lively through the flight, for instance during the safety demonstration he would carry on conversations with those of us close to him seamlessly and effortlessly, plus make funny gestures -- such as a thumbs-up when the seat-belt was correctly fashioned -- during the presentation. His wife was the head attendant (?) who gave the instructions, and he had fun with that as well. These are two people who do their job well, enjoy what they do, and leave a positive experience in the hearts of those they serve. I think they would be a fantastic feature story in Alaska Airlines magazine in the future."
Cons: "I've never liked the limited food choices and entertainment on flights from SLC to Spokane or Seattle. I know they are short flights, but a little more could be put in. I know Delta has on-flight entertainment from LAX to SLC, perhaps this should be done."

Pros: "Most people get upset when a flight is delayed but I would much rather have a safe plane. I liked the way that customer care handled the situation. I recieved a text message, an apology email, and a follow up email a day or so after landing. I told my father (a much more frequent flyer) about the situation and even he was very impressed by the customer care."

I wish they would fly everywhere, because then we'd be done with the brutal shafting Delta and American and even United dishes out on the regular. Comfortable, friendly, accommodating (usb and AC ports on every seatback), and laid-back, it was perfect. I mean, perfect. AND we got there early."

Cons: "Airlines in general need to enforce the carry on luggage rules. If it doesn't match the dimensions for the carry on specks then make the people Check it. Don't let it go. If I paid for a seat and I'm allowed two carry ons then there should be room for them. Don't ask people to check bags because of a full plane. The crew should have there own place to store their belongings, not where the passengers do and take their space. The life rafts need to be easy to get to but again should take up a spot a passenger has paid for their luggage to go. If that is the only space for these items then don't allow passengers to bring two items if in those seats or on the whole plane. It's really disappointing when your told you may have to check your bag because there's not enough room."

Pros: "I paid only $100 more round trip to DTW from SLC then I would have with other carriers, minus the hassle of connecting flights and paying fees that they don't tell you about up front (like $25 for a carry-on bag, oh and a another $12 per leg for a window seat). My experience, like my previous Delta experiences was absolutely enjoyable. From the quick boarding, super friendly gate agents, and flight crew, to the free on board entertainment, Delta has won me over once again. Oh and did I mention how great it is to board a flight, relax and watch a good movie, take a small nap, and deplane at your destination! Awesome!!"

Cons: "My seat happened to be one row in front of the Exit Aisle Seating rows....I wasn't aware that this meant having to sit straight up the entire time without the chance of reclining my chair back into the Exit Aisle's space.The 2 hour and 13 minute flight time sitting straight up really worked up my sciatic nerve into a flaring frenzy. I Forgot to bring my iPad Pro with me on this trip...and had no adequate access to any entertainment content."

Also, I had an oversize item-ski bag-which for some reason they did not deliver through the designated "oversize baggage" door but instead put out against the wall through a side door well down the terminal from the designated door. I might still be standing there except my traveling companion walked down that way and found it."

They seemed to want to visit with each other before the flight (making it difficult for me to get to my seat) and during the flight (making it tough to get some sleep). It would be nice if they had been seated together so as not to disturb others. I know this really isn't Delta's fault, but some people aren't very conscientious"

They have this tiny little frame no reasonable carry-on could possibly fit into. Over and over again I see people including myself and my traveling companion’s having to check their carry-on bag because their “too big” this is nonsense. These are standard size bags. It’s more than enough space on board the plane. In a way in which the gate check individuals handle this interaction is a palling you’re insulting demanding and don’t give you a chance to rearrange your luggage so I can go into their absurd dimensions"

Most importantly we all missed that our roll-on bags wouldn’t fight in the overhead bins. As a result many people pulled their bags on and fought and struggled to force their luggage above, only to give up. The on-board agents recognized early the problem and then proceeded to allow many other passengers to stroll by them with their large roll-on bags, only to delay the boarding process and frustrate everyone. When making their safety announcement the flight attendant was clearly competing for fastest speaking human and rushed through at blazing speeds. In all my 30+ years of travel, I’ve never heard anything like it."

Pros: "Time was good. Ground service was good. In-flight was okay. Because I love Cathay so much I took a 3 hour longer trip through LA (vs. Seattle) and paid more. But I was berating myself for that. But the flight back was Cathay service at its finest."

Cons: "We were not told our passports needed to have an expiration past six months of travel even though we got back before the expiration. We entered our passport info including our expiration dates and we’re given no warning. We even had our boarding passes prior to showing up at the airport. We will not use Kayak in the future and will book direct through the airline moving forward."

Cons: "charged a surprise of $175 for my third bag although Kayak mentioned i should be charged $75 at the time of booking. AA says it is due to Jordanyan Airlines, why was I surprised by this extra charge?!"

The extremely small overhead storage cabinets of the Canadair required many passengers to check normally acceptably sized carry-on bags after boarding and finding it impossible to fit. Waiting time for retrieving these on the ramp at the destination was excessive."

Pros: "Once I got onto the plane, it was fine. It was a short flight. Everyone was nice and they offered drinks and a small snack."
Cons: "I was late to my first flight from Dallas to LR due to my flight from Spain coming in late. I got off the plane and there was also another connecting flight printed for me. I thought "wow that is amazing sevice! I am def going to brag on them." I should have done it myself... after a 30 hour traveling day.. I got to the counter to get on my second scheduled flight home, and it wouldn't let me on because something with my Rickey was not working on the computer. The person did not know how to fix it so I missed the flight. After calling a supervisor, and that said supervisor never showing up, someone else finally happened to walk by and helped the original person fix the problem. Finally after waiting 5 hours total, I was on my flight home. The first flight was amazing but this flight makes me question if I want to ever use American Airlines in the future."

I'm thinking the airline shouldn't book the front seats by the panel as 'better' for the extra price as they were definitely not."

Customer service was unhelpful and rude until they found out that the issue was at the fault of united Airlines and not external circumstances."

I needed to get on my next flight! It was 11pm and I still had to flight all night, so it was very exhausting and stressful! I was running thru the airport to my next flight."

Pros: "Excellent, efficient boarding process. We left on time even though the inbound flight arrived late. Friendly and efficient crew. We are arrived on time. The aircraft appeared to be new, and the interior was very clean."
Cons: "I paid for the "perks" which allowed a checked bag, a carry on, and a more desirable seat (assigned in advance). Despite buying a seat with additional legroom in the front of the cabin, the seat on the airbus 319 was uncomfortable. The seat is narrow and has little cushioning and back support. In addition, the cabin was uncomfortably warm for the first half of the flight. I was among the first to board, but I was asked to put my back pack in the overhead compartment 2 rows behind my seat (again, I had paid to have a carry on item). This is a problem when deplaning, as everyone immediately takes up the aisle and there is no way to go back to retrieve the item until most of the other passengers have left the plane. The food/beverage service is for purchase only. The only complimentary service is a cup of water. There is no entertainment system, and little room for a laptop or even an ipad if the person in front of you reclines the seat."

I am so grateful for the friendly staff and the extra attention they gave to my kids and I."

You think you are getting a good fare but the fees have made my trip almost three times the initial fare. United is testing similar "economy" fares. None of this information is presented upfront so it's a bait and switch scenario. Also, trying to reach a human being is nearly impossible. I feel sorry for the customer service reps, they should get hazard pay. They have to try to justify these ridiculous policies. Save yourself money and frustration and NEVER FLY FRONTIER AIRLINES!!!!!!!"

The first flight, the plane made a very strange noise at the wing till we had been in the air for a long time. The connecting flight, the flight attendant told us that the plane had weight or balance issues, and we were all seated the way we needed to be for the plane to fly properly, so we could not change seats (a portion of the middle of the plane had empty seats). It was extremely uncomfortable, as the seats didn't recline at all, and I'm extremely short, but was cramped up against the seat in front of me. Only one arm rest that was about an inch & a half wide per seat. Also, I think they offered soda, but no snacks. They charge for all baggage, the carry on bag costs $45, while the checked bag is $40 ($80 for 2 checked bags one way), & they have specific "linear" dimensions for the size of the CHECKED bags, or they will charge something like $100 extra. Even though the actual flight was cheap, the price of baggage & feeling so cramped, & scared that the plane wasn't working properly, I wouldn't fly this airline again."

Cons: "This was my first frontier flight and I plan to not take them again. My total flight cost came out to be the same as a normal flight on better airlines after all was said and done. The base price of the flight is cheaper than others, but just know that the add-ons is where they get you. Paying for every little thing is absolutely ridiculous (60$ for checked bag round trip, seating assignments that ranged from $15-$27 but the type of seat or leg room does not change between those prices, only water was available for free...all other sodas and juices cost money). Be prepared to pay for your carry on as well if it doesn't fit under your seat infront of you. On top of this, the seats are like sitting in plastic folding chairs. No cushioning on seat or back and they do not recline, which makes paying extra for a seat even more frustrating. No wifi or in flight entertainment on board either...this is the 21st century, if other 'budget' airlines can provide the minimum of wifi then frontier should as well, to make up for everything I stated above. The flight attendants were fine, nothing spectacular though. I've had friendlier attendants on other flights. A man a few rows behind me threw up as we were preparing to land as well. I know this has nothing to do with the flight, but it was the first time I've had something like that occur on a flight."

The staff would not say what the problem was but kept pushing the estimated departure time further and further back. After waiting three hours I finally took the initiative to go in line to the desk to find an alternate route, after already missing my connecting flight. The staff redirected me through Chicago instead of Denver as was originally expected, but failed to redirect my luggage. Upon arrival in Minneapolis my luggage was lost. Being understaffed, it took another half an hour for a staff member to show up, but they could not explain what happened to our luggage. Instead of figuring out the problem, they had us fill out an information sheet and told us, "when they find your luggage they will call you". They tried calling a supervisor to help us but after an hour wait on the supervisor I finally left the airport, six and a half hours after originally expected."

Flight attendants carried permanent grimace and you could tell they didn't enjoy their jobs, all snacks charged, no entertainment, charged $60 for a carry on bag going one way. I was not made aware of fee beforehand.I will never fly this airline again following my non-refundable return flight. I am not looking forward to flying back home through this airline."
