Cons: "The check in process was very poorly organized. We arrived more than 3 hours early for our flight but there wasn’t anyone at the counter service and only one attendant giving information. We were told they would not start the check in services until an hour more. We still waited another 30 minutes. They need to change their check in process. Another suggestion is making the last row seats able to recline as well. Other than that, It would have made the flight perfect."

Cons: "Was told by TSA in los angeles that alaska airlines had selected me for an ssss on my boarding passes was checked in loreto on a 5 minute search had no carry ons went quick When in Los Angeles went thru customs and immigration no problem however when i got to security they checked my passport and said i had to have further screening had to stand 25 minutes waiting for tsa officer to take me through the line officer showed up finally they patted me down checked for nitrates took picture of my passport than sent me to gate While it was boarding had alaska agent make smart ellic comment about ssss on my boarding pass made it to Seattle than was going to take wenatchee flight gate agent said he needed all my previous boarding passes for loreto and Lax i said i threw them away he said well i will have to send you back through security here in seattle i told him i dont have enough time to make my flight he said you must have known there was Trouble my wenatchee flight fortunately had no ssss on it made my flight very long story short i will avoid alaska airlines next time."

It may have been nicer to have more than one agent handling the International groupngogem the queue length and nature of the trips, which are generally more complex."

I also tried to get my boarding pass via phone with the same error message. I also tried to go through Cathay's website, no luck. Cathays customer service is closed on Sunday, and Alaskan customer service said they cannot help me. I arrived 2 hours before my flight from SLC to LAX via Alaskan Airlines, and they were unable to print my boarding pass in time to make my flight. I waited 2 hours in line with other people also leaving at 6am, almost all of us missing our flight.... I am extremely disappointed and would like a refund for this trip. I ended up purchasing another one-way ticket to HKG, and will take the return flight home from Cathay."

Cons: "The flight was 4 hours late. I wasted an entire day sitting in the airport. You knew that the flight was late hours in advance and should have texted or emailed me to say as much. Instead, i checked in on time, and within 10 minutes we went from 'On Time' to four hours late due to equipment and crew. Very inconsiderate and unappreciated to your customer. The flight should have been free after such an inconsiderate gesture on your part. Instead, you send me a gift certificate that obligates me to spend more money with you in order to redeem it, and then within a certain period of time. If I have choice in the future, I'll lean toward a different airline than yours. You clearly do not value my time nor my business."

Pros: "Glorious leg room! Some airlines have crammed their seats so close together that even someone of average height has their knees jammed into the seat-back in front of them. Not so on Alaskan Air. I had a good 4-5 inches of space between my knees and the seat in front of me. Can't say the same for a lot of other airlines."

Cons: "Board information, no page for boarding, we just happened to show at the boarding desk and was informed they have loaded earlier. We were boarding earlier then estimated time. After boarding and seated we were in formed we had a additional waiting time due to unprepared passport issues with customs and we had to wait for several other passengers. Our flight was held for additional 50 minutes. I was not impressed! I was very unhappy with the flight attendant stating sorry we don't have other options for food. They were out of food to buy except children option. This airline was chosen because I thought it was rated as a clean, friendly, reliable,relaxing flight . Seats are hard,stiff and uncomfortable. My back was aching before we got in flight. Windows were discussing gross with body fluids on them. I'm very sorry to say I would not recommend this Alaska airlines to anyone. Very unhappy and disappointed. I hope this will be addressed. Passengers should not have to sit in a flight seat sounded by filth. I would have expected my Mexico flight might have been this way but not my return flight in the states."

Cons: "I carry photo equipment in a carry on bag because of expense, damage control and temperature control. Unfortunately I can not leave it for baggage people to handle (although I would love to.) When I got my carry on to the greeting flight attendant I explained I had just finished a shoot and I was sorry that I needed to keep the bag as carry on. Flight Attendant: there was nothing she could do and I needed to go back down the stairs, even though people were still boarding and leave it with the baggage people. Me: "In the past the flight attendant put the bag in that closet." (I pointed to the locked closet where they keep their bags.) Flight Attendant: I cant open it because it's locked. Me: "The key is kept there." (I pointed to where the key is kept. I know because I've done this trip so many times before.) Flight Attendant: "See if it will fit under your seat." It did... but I had my knees in my chin for the entire flight. Thanks, Ann"

Then the seat they gave me was already booked to someone else, so i had to wait again on the plane to get a seat. on my outgoing flight to seattle a few days prior, i intentionally didn't check a bag because i had a late arrival and early work the next day, was forced to check it on the plane and then they lost it for an hour after i landed so i didn't get home until 2am. frustrating, but again the crew was nice about the mistakes."

Very unsatisfied."

We sat on the tarmac for almost two and a half hours, and it must have been around 85 degrees on the plane. There was a lot of miscommunication about whether we would be switching aircraft. They finally told us to deplane because we were probably going to switch planes. After 15 minutes in the terminal, we reboarded the same plane. Got to LA 3 hours late so had to deal with horrible rush hour traffic, which we had hoped to avoid had we taken off on time."

Cons: "The fact that the lack of knowledge regarding international travel visas by the counter staff and supervisor meant that two days of the vacation were lost. Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."
Pros: "Transfer from SAT flight. Bathrooms clean. Short walk to new gate. Food or snacks available. Plug in for phone available. Boarding staff friendly. Plenty of overhead. On time. Service inflight friendly and prompt. Baggage prompt and pickup by family with no problem. Staff helpful and friendly. Crew efficient despite full plane. On time."

Pros: "I paid only $100 more round trip to DTW from SLC then I would have with other carriers, minus the hassle of connecting flights and paying fees that they don't tell you about up front (like $25 for a carry-on bag, oh and a another $12 per leg for a window seat). My experience, like my previous Delta experiences was absolutely enjoyable. From the quick boarding, super friendly gate agents, and flight crew, to the free on board entertainment, Delta has won me over once again. Oh and did I mention how great it is to board a flight, relax and watch a good movie, take a small nap, and deplane at your destination! Awesome!!"

Pros: "The seats were the widest with the most cushion and padding I've ever had on any flight, I think all their seats were like that. The plane we were on had more leg room than your average flight. Also the backs of the chair were very tall, leaving even mpre head room perfect for tall people . I fly a lot and sometimes my knees hit the seat in front of me or when they recline it shoves the tray to close to you. Not on this flight there was enough room for me to lay back in the seat had the adjustable headrest that went up and down and also curved in to hold your head from falling on your neighbor next to you. Love the fact they had the USB plug-in in front of you. And the crew constantly kept coming through to empty trash and offer beverages. The plane was clean bathrooms in front and back of the airplane. Over all quiet engine and we were above the wings. Temperature good."
Cons: "The crew member that was checking in people at the gate would talk so fast we could barely understand what he was saying on the overhead announcement. I was traveling with someone who was hearing impaired so we were unaware of that they were getting ready to board. The electronic TV monitor wasn't updating to say boarding to notify people that would be helpful for the hearing impaired. Or--if a crew member is muffled on the announcement or talks too fast you can't understand or know what's going on. The most frustrating thing for me and my daughter we were both expecting to use Delta online entertainment. There are no monitor screens in the seats in front of us on this plane. So we were able to use our phones, but it would not download and once It finally downloaded we couldn't upload any of the movies. Connection speed way too slow. The warning said there were too many people on it at that time. Also I like it when they offer free headphones for people that don't have them. An example that would benefit people that don't want to listen to loud people on the plane or babies that are crying."

Cons: "The flight aborted landing in Sun Valley. The reason is because the airplane you send there can only land in a 10 Kt tail wind. This is unacceptable, number one, but if you insist on using this aircraft you should at least have a shuttle available for us from the diverting airport in Twin Falls or perhaps just quit serving Haley and just serve an airport that you can land in with great regularity again this is unacceptable and will certainly mean that I think twice about using Delta in the future."

Crew only greeted white passengers with a smile - which is something I'm noticing in many Delta flights (don't see that happen on Virgin or Alaska) I could see the luggage handlers throwing each bag onto the conveyor belt like they had a personal vendetta against each bag. They made an extra effort to toss each bag IN THE AIR so it lands with a thud. Seriously apalling!"

This was after I had already done an online check-in for the appropriate seat. Then I was told by the AA agent at the desk that my upgrade was in the system but that it was “fake”. Apparently the money I paid two months before was no good on this flight. I was traveling with my boyfriend and they would not allow us at the same counter because we were not married. After much haggling we were finally able to rectify the situation. Horrible start. Then, once on the plane, the in- flight entertainment system as well as the lights broke right before take off so there was nothing to watch or see for an almost 8 hour flight."

Would have less waiting for people in front of you to get settled. Wish the last snack had a piece of fruit or something with a bit more healthy aspect."

Pros: "They offered pretty decent food and snack options that were included in the flight- the high quality chocolate ice cream was an especially nice touch as well as the included wine. My seat appeared to have more space than the flight previous to it, so that added a lot more comfort without the extra expense of having to pay for the "more space" seating- I often feel like airlines nickel and dime you to death these days. Perhaps it was just the luck of the draw, but the seats had much more legroom than my first flight to Paris as opposed to the return to NY. The flight crew were all courteous and pleasant. Leather seating with readily available pillows and blankets for all was a nice touch as well."

Cons: "Since my flight was connecting from London to New York we barely had a break even though we were suppose to have a 2.5 hour layover. As soon as we got off our first plane we were directed to American Airline security where they questioned me about my trip and what I did in Spain. Then I was directed to TSA where it took a long time to get through the lines. I got to my gate an hour before take off and they were already boarding. I didn't have a moment to take a bathroom break or grab a drink/snack. But again, this experience was not all that bad because all the positive notes listed above."

Then by the time you get up to an American airline employee, incompetence was written all over their faces. The straw that broke the camel's back was that they insisted on separating my partner and me while doing security questions, meanwhile other parties who were together were not separated (LGBT discrimination). This pushed us back 10 minutes--we were separated and he was having to wait for me after the questioning to get my bag checked, too. I'll add that we arrived to the airport with over 2 hours to spare before our flight which should have been more than enough time. We probably would have missed the flight if not for a few decent Charles de Gaulle employees who bumped us though lines at customs when they realized the time crunch, no thanks to anyone with American Airlines. I heard so many saying they will not use American Airlines again, and how saving a few dollars was not worth the headache. Flying is already stressful enough, don't make it that much worse."

Pros: "THis was an ok flight. Everything was on time and the crew was hreat. On the other hand, the food was terrible and the check in process was not expedite at all. The American Airlines crew did not know how to handle my G4 visa while checking in and they neglected to mark my bag with the orange ribbon signaling platinum status in American. This is key to getting your luggae faster in baggage claim when you have a short connection (I had less than two hours). This omission caused my suitcase to arrive last, and I had to run to make it to my next flight."

I liked the fact that we got ice cream halfway through the flight also, that's not a very common thing! Entertainment system was very good -- lots of choices of things to watch/listen to! I was pleased to find that there were movies available that had been very recently released that I had been wanting to see!"
Cons: "Comfort was okay, my seat was on the end of a row with three seats (aisle side) and immediately behind me was a row with only two seats. Without fail, the flight attendants bumped their carts into my chair EVERY time they passed. If I had been trying to sleep, this would be much more of a disturbance to me. Seeing as I was just watching movies and enjoying the food, it wasn't that much of an issue. However, I think it would be easy for the flight attendants to just take a second longer to try to navigate around the chair and not bump it every time. Little things like that go a long way, especially on a long flight."

When we made the reservation we were told it was an 8 hour and 50 minute flight but we got there in 7 hours and 45 minutes, more than 1 hour early. It would be good to know the real timing so that meetings could be planned in a timely way."

There were no individual screens only 1 screen hanging down every five or six seats. The seats are very, very narrow. The cleanliness of the tray tables were gooey and full of crusted dirt as were the seat areas in front of the tray tables. I was told that they fly an even older plane from Europe to NY, which is an old one aisle plane. Not sure why AA continues to use such out of date planes but if they use planes from the 1980's it seems to me that they should charge 1980 prices!"

They had to fly in an employee from Texas to cover the shift. Are you kidding me? I understand there are unforeseen events but any reputable airline should have a personnel contingency plan better than that. As a result, we lost a whole day of our vacation, missed our Broadway performance, and others missed their business meetings. All the alerts informing us of the delay were sent long after they already occurred. I will avoid flying American again at all costs."

The staff in LAX were not as friendly but then I am just glad that everything was handled for her at such a young age being taken through such a big place. My daughter said she slept very little overnight due to a rude passenger who was talking very loudly and using a phone. But over all she was happy with the in-flight entertainment and I was pleased with the amount of baggage allowed at no extra fee."

Then when we were on the air, flight attendants took a while to provide the snacks and water and they didn’t even get around to our row before they had to sit down for touch down. Smh. Terrible and thoughtless. Seats were uncomfortable and very little leg space. Entertainment only works if you’re able to download their app and of course no free WiFi because airlines want to force you to spend more money after you’ve spent a large amount to fly to your destination."

Not only did I deal with the discomfort of having to carry my stuff in my hand on to my next flight but I had to deal with a flight attendant that had no self awareness of his surrounding. The flight attendant ran into my shoulder more times than I can count. Such an irritating flight."

Cons: "Virtually no food included on an $800 dollar 5 hr flight. I even upgraded economy elite. In the equivalent range Alaskan gives a very nice fo-meal in a box. Finally, I arrived for my flight from San Luis Obispo an hour and 45 minutes early and stood in line to check my small bag for the first 45 minutes. At which point the desk agent made the announcement she would no longer take bags. Luckily my bag was small enough to be considered a carry on so I just went to security. I don't know what people with large bags behind me did? then it takes another 45 mins to get through security at which point they see my 5 inch knife on X-ray machine. Which I packed 3 days earlier when I planned to check my bag. Lost the knife, fine, my fault, goodbye favorite pocket knife. but now I am randomly selected for explosives LOL by TSA. I get to the gate the gate agent scans a ticket for the person infront of me. I step up and the same gate agent puts her hand over the scanner and says sorry it is late!? There were 6 other people behind me and this is a 22 person plane. So I still not upset walk back out of the security area because TSA closes the area in between flights and call United. They get me on the next flight out and rescheduled my following flight only a 3 hour wait. An hour goes by and the first desk agent, they have been holding the first flight because enough people aren't onboard. SLB is a joke."

Pros: "From the Take off location in Low Angeles the United personnel was terrific...my parents both have health issues and the wheelchair..go cart service was great..."
Cons: "When returning from Houston to LA...i appreciated that the wheelchair service was ready when they arrived....what i didn't like was that as we entered the elevator one of the workers made a comment to his partner that there was to much weight cause the elevator made a certain noise...but not as if he was concerned more jokingly...my mother is heavy set ...she and our party thought that was rude and unnecessary...they both looked at her...i was going to bring it to there attention, but what good would of it done...so please address it....there were 2 gentlemen...one pushing my father which was a Hispanic male and the other was a black male pushing mother...the one who made the comment was the Hispanic male....and another problem was the airplane was very warm..."
Cons: "several people assigned to the same seats, mine included. lots of last minute moving around."

Cons: "The weather in SF delayed is so very long while the airport staff were rather rude at both airports. And after all that, my bag did not make it on my connecting flight- or maybe it did but you guys texted me it didn't via your little app- and I had to go back for it mysef the next day becuase you would not deliver it or help me find it. wanted to be compensated for my long and horrible ordeal."
Pros: "Flight was delayed but arrived only 1/2 hour later. Check in was smooth. Plane was rather old and not enough leg space."
Pros: "Boarding was organized. When we wanted to check in our cabin baggage afraid that the overhead bins may be full by the time we board, we were properly guided that there is ample space, so there was no need to check them in. This saved us waiting time at LAX."
Cons: "We were not allowed to do online check-in because of codeshare, which was not very convenient."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 6.5 hours. Then they delayed another hour. Then they sent a message that it would only be an additional 30 minutes so we rushed back. Then it was delayed another 2 hours. The United people would have happily stuck me with an overnight hotel so I could take their flight the next morning. I asked for the AA routing that worked for a same-day arrival. They happily agreed."
Pros: "It was an ok flight. We missed our flight by 10 mins but got the next one at no charge."

Pros: "My whole experience was easy and comfortable. A big thank you to the woman who helped me check in at the United kiosk in Sydney. She saw that I was struggling and assisted me until completion. The flight was uneventful, which is really good! I also had the entire row to myself which gave me room to spread out for the 13 hour flight. Great experience:)"
Cons: "The food was probably the weakest part of my flight from Sydney to Los Angeles. The eggs had no taste. I'd prefer a simple oatmeal or cereal for breakfast."

Cons: "Kayak did not confirm my seat. Was not able to get a flight. Called customer service and they told me to rebook. My card was charged twice. The airplane had faulted hardware. Waited in line for 2 hours to get a different flight. All flights to Phoenix were full. Didn't make the standby list. Couldn't make the rebook flight. Worst day ever Now, No one can give me a refund. mind you I took a day off from work this was a last minute. The reason this trip was so important to me is because my grandma is in the ICU. I hardly ever complain about any customer service experience. Overall to get a hold of customer service is awful."
Pros: "Once in the air the flight was great."
Cons: "1/2 hr before boarding should have occurred we were notified of a delay- 1/2 hr. I knew I was going to miss my connection and asked, and told if I did they would put me on the next one out an hr later, but could not nor would not address it until necessary. When we arrived, they informed me of the gate to go to... which we ran to... and when we got to there were told the plane left 15 minutes ago."
Pros: "My flight wasn't full so I had no one sitting next to me."
Cons: "Snack wasn't very good"
Cons: "They held us on the plane from Indy to Chicago for so long that most of us knew we were going to miss our flights. I ran all the way to my gate to discover that the plane took off 10 minutes earlier than it was supposed to. I was told there were no other flights to LA and I would have to get a hotel until tomorrow. I was only going to be in California for 2 days so every second counts, so when I became upset the man checked again and found me a seat on a plane that took off in an hour. I was grateful but at the same time I was kind of displeased that he didn't offer that to me originally."

Pros: "overall the trip was pleasant, i dont like my 1 carryon be selected to not go in the overhead when groups like couples or families get to take on a few - but i did receive my carryon in a timely fashion considering we were not let off board after 15 min of landing"
Pros: "Food was ok reclining seats worked not much else."
Cons: "The reclining seats only work if you are shorter than 187cm I'm taller and so I had to bend my knees as there is nowhere else for your legs to go! The Chardonnay was warm - when served with tasty smoked salmon turned me off. The pillow was a $2 one lumpy and next to useless it's too big for the room you have. My entertainment system was reset three times and it still didn't work properly - no sound and no ability to watch movies that were not child rated. Stewards have to learn to be quiet as some of us are trying to sleep on a 15 hour flight and aren't interested in their laughs and jokes as we are travelling business first because we have to go to work when we get there!!"
Pros: "Everything else was fine. I was even able to access my luggage in LAX to retrieve my medication, which I accidentally had left in there. Thanks for that."
Cons: "Stewardess was so big and clumsy, that she had to hold on to the overhead bins and wake me up every time she squeezed through aisle and scraped by me. I know you cannot discriminate against big staff, but you have to make the aisle wider if you want your passengers to be comfortable and undisturbed."
Pros: "Can't beat the ease of flying especially considering how quick arriving into Los Angeles verses driving"
