I am very disappointed in the way my ticket was checked when I was heading to Bucharest from Athens.
I had everything ready my boarding pass my passport and my visa.
Then the woman who was checking the tickets before we entered looked 2 seconds on my passport and said we have a problem we need to call the immigration. She started calling people and called her coworker, she didn't tell me what was going on! She didn't explain what was the problem, I asked her a couple of times what is the problem she just said we need to call the immigration.
I asked her one final time tell me the problem! Then she finally told me, but it turned out obviously she didnt read my visa correctly, there was nothing wrong with my visa or my ticket, the problem was she misread my visa!
Then she said oh I didn't see that sorry.
This took approximately 10 minutes.
Ok she apologized but it didn't sound sensere or honest.
I felt embarrassed and humiliated, specially when she kept saying we need to call the immigration like I am some kind of a criminal.
I was NOt treated the way customers should be treated.
She did not have to be rude in the first place, and she should have apologized in a decent manner wihout any attitude.
It would be great if you tell your employees to treat everyone with the same respect, and that they shouldn't descrinate against any nationality.
Just because I am from the middle east doesn't mean I should have a problem with my visa! And just because I am 22 doesn't mean I don't deserve a decent apology!
Thank you for having the time to read my complaint.
It was cheap (we were on UP, El Al's cheapo brand). The flight itself was fine, takeoff and landing were routine. Drinks were handed out frequently and the crew were professional if not exactly friendly.
The hand baggage restrictions were onerous and were not handled or explained well by the folks at the gate. We had this problem in both directions. My wife was allowed a "purse" and a small suitcase, but I was not — even though we both had exactly the same thing (a backpack and a carry-on suitcase). Didn't try the food, as it cost extra.
Old fashioned seat, no usb to charge my phone, battery went ;off and couldn't make a call to my family to assure them of a half way safe trip while stopping over for almost 6 hours in Ataturk Intl. Airport, Turkey.
I was unable to take the flight due to the coup. But everytime I call it can never speak to a real person and the one time I did they said they would get back to me and it's been over a week. What can I do to get a reimbursement???
This is a rating for our entire experience which was awful. In our area you were unable to check in online or use a kiosk. That meant every person on the flight had to check in at the airport. There were no lines, no directions, just a mob at the desk. Once onboard the intercom went out during taxi. We had to turn around. No information was given as we sat on the taxiway. We finally took off late and again no information was given about connections. When we asked we were told "don't worry the Belgrade airport is small". luckily the flight from Belgrade to Athens was also late so we made the connection. Departing Athens was difficult as well. Online Air Serbia was showing our flight was cancelled due to a possible air traffic controller stike which did not happen. We called Air Serbia and were informed the flight was not cancelled. "Just show up at the airport" we were told. We showed up more than 2 hours early and waited in line to be told we were not in their system along with 2 other couples by a very curt airport employee. We waited an hour, despite all of us having proof of paid tickets. Again, no information was given. They finally confirmed the first leg, Athens to Belgrade but not the 2nd, Belgrade to Stuttgart. We waited again and finally were given boarding passes. We were not apologized to, offered an up grade or really afforded any customer service. One of the other couples discovered on their own, that due to the possible strike, Air Sebia had indeed cancelled everyone's bookings and "forgot" to re-enter some. Leaving Athens we were also late on take off. Again not given any information and barely made our connection to Stuttgart. At this time given our experience we could not recommend Air Serbia.
the flight was smooth, on time polite staff, and helpful
over all I would use them again
I really hate flights that I when I leave the plane I need to walk down a set of stairs ( in Tel Aviv) it was lucky I didn't have a suitcase carry on to take down the stairs also I did not know I would be charged 10$ if I did not do early "check in" on line which was in Prague ...
The service provided by the airline crew was magnificent. I enjoyed the entire flight from my departure point to the arrival point. Turkish Airline is my to go airline herein henceforth. I will implore prospective travelers to give the airline a shot (try). I can unequivocally attest that the decision to do so will not be regretted.
Pretty good service from the crew. That's about it.
Some of the tiniest most uncomfortable seats I've been on. I did not realize that Aegean was a budget airline going to a third world country (Greece??!). Flight was late but they pretended that it wasn't (45 minutes)
Crew at the check in were rude, would not let us return the same handheld suitcases we came with, required we check them in, one which they did let us take was required to be measured again with the "cage" at the gate. The temperature on boath flights was very high even with max airflow. We were not allowed to bring abroad bottled water which we had bought at the duty free at the airport, and the aircraft chair would not recline and was extremely crowded with almost no leg space. Will not recommend!
Check in is in a different terminal than actual gate. Yiu muat fake a bus after check in to a different terminal. Its was a nightmare. Suitcase didnt came as they nust hadn't loaded half of the passengers luggage. We arrived to prague with no warm cloths. Tgey gave us bad service all along. Better to pay a bkt extra and fly with some one else
