Pros: "Crew was amable and entertainment is good with lots of choicest."
Cons: "My seat would not recline. Although many other seats we available I was assigned to a middle seat with both aisle and window occupied. The flight was delayed by 2 hrs. Austin baggage services was closed and check in attendants were unablento help me delivered the luggage that was cracked for replacement. I ended up paying for a 2nd checked bag and leave it at Miami AA baggage services for replacement."

But those seats were sold out long before we even got to LA! I contacted American Airlines Customer Relations about 1 month prior to my flight. I completed their online form detailing the problem and asked if there is any way I could buy extra leg room seats. But they never even bothered to respond. I got the automated email acknowledging receipt of my complaint and assuring me I would be contacted soon. NOT!!"

I haven't one bad thing to say about American Airlines"

Our family of 5, including 2 children were placed each in a different location. The 2 men, average size, 5'9" were placed in window seats that required your head to be bent to the side because the wall curves over and the seat was so narrow. Everyone was hanging over each other's seat. There was no leg room. Everyone on the plane was upset and in disbelief that for 7 hours we would have to fly like that. Spending thousands of dollars, I did not expect this extremely closterphobic conditions. I would have paid extra for better seats. Not a happy customer."

I struggled with my check in (I had just had a spine procedure done 48 hrs prior).... and by the time I got help from an agent it was 7:03 am, so... They wouldn't give me a boarding pass for my 8 am flight. Add to that an extremely rude ticket agent who couldn't care less about helping me, and almost seemed to enjoy my predicament, and that sums up my experience with this airline. I will never fly with them again, that's for sure; there's so many other airlines that actually care about their customers, this is not one of them."
