Relaxing atmosphere, comfortable seating, great in-flight entertainment, although I have the go-go in-flight data/entertainment plan with t-mobile (highly recommended), the flight included a decent selection of movies, television programs, etc. The food far exceeded typical "airline quality," even for an international flight - and included a fabulous little snack box with locally sourced gourmet and specialty items such as chocolate from Belgium, fine cheeses from France, and crackers from England. Drinks = gratis, and crew was exceptionally attentive and went out of their way to make flight as pleasant as possible."

Then, if you have to make a connection from one terminal to the other, as we did, you rush to a bus that drives you all the way across the airport. At that point you rush to find yourself faced with going through security yet again. All this made us miss our flight and turned what should have been a 10 hour trip into a 24 hour trip. That is British Airways fault for leaving so little time to connect. When you book your flights, be sure to have an hour and a half at the very least - preferably 2 hours."

Then, after he finally arrived with a tray full of coffees, there was an issue with the jet's computer and had to reset it and we had to wait even more. When we finally arrived, our Gate was taken by other plane already and we had to wait (more) for the first one to be available for us. Then, when we finally got our Gate, there was another issue, now with the "finger". They weren't able to move it and connect it to the plane to get off of it. So we had to wait AGAIN. And finally as soon as we got off the plane, they were supposed to give us our carry ons on the aisle (Because it was a small plane CR700) , but again, we had to wait almost 10 minutes so that they could send the luggage... Cons: "There is not enough waiting space at Madrid Terminal 4S for passengers on large aircraft. Boarding was not as fast and orderly as it should have been. Customs and passport control at DFW is very time consuming (much slower than at many other comparable airports). To change terminals, it is necessary to go back through security and then take a train. It took more than 1.5 hours for me to clear customs and get to another terminal for my connection."

Then once we reboarded an 1.5 hours later, we sat on the runway for over 2 hours waiting to be deiced, then waiting to take off with absolutely NO TRANSPARENCY from the crew or the pilot. We were updated ONCE every HOUR. I missed a day of my vacation because a crew member didn't arrive on time. UNACCEPTABLE."

I have had two trips in the past 5 days and all flights have been anywhere from 1 to 3 hours late. Worst experience with AA I have had in a long time."

Cons: "I was late to my first flight from Dallas to LR due to my flight from Spain coming in late. I got off the plane and there was also another connecting flight printed for me. I thought "wow that is amazing sevice! I am def going to brag on them." I should have done it myself... after a 30 hour traveling day.. I got to the counter to get on my second scheduled flight home, and it wouldn't let me on because something with my Rickey was not working on the computer. The person did not know how to fix it so I missed the flight. After calling a supervisor, and that said supervisor never showing up, someone else finally happened to walk by and helped the original person fix the problem. Finally after waiting 5 hours total, I was on my flight home. The first flight was amazing but this flight makes me question if I want to ever use American Airlines in the future."

We were all taking layer of off cloths as it was so hot. Seems the first class attendants were not monitoring the temps which regulars the temps just behind first class. Told the flight attendant who also acknowledged it but the first class attendants did not make the change Many were angry. We were on the Tarmac for almost 1.5 hours waiting for the plane to be de-iced. No AC during the process."

I fly Air Canada as seldom as possible because there's almost always something that complicates the trip. Our daughter booked these flights so we could visit her for Mothers Day."

Cons: "The flight was delayed 40 and then 50 minutes. No announcements were made, the screen just changed. I'm glad I went up to ask about my connecting flight to Athens; if I had waited and got on the flight, I would have missed my connection. The people at the AirCanada desk were nice, and were able to find us other seats. However, we were promised seats on the 7:30 flight, but instead were put on the 5:45 flight. We asked for the AirCanada person to call back and change our flight, but she said we would have time (at this point, 1 hour and 20 minutes before the flight left), even though I showed her that there was a lot of traffic between LGA and JFK and we probably would not make it. We had to leave LGA, find our bags and wait in a long taxi line to sit in traffic in a cab we had to pay for our of pocket, and could not make the 5:45 flight. I then had to call AirCanada and wait for 15 minutes for the lady to switch us to the 7:30 flight. In all, we also lost 2 full hours in Athens."

Cons: "I needed to change my flight and Air Canads charged me $300! They said thy had some 'peak days' fee (August) and a 'weekend' fee, which covers Friday, Saturday and Sunday. 3 day weekend??! Come on, what a scam. Just charge me the flat change fee not all these bullshit greedy add-ons."

After having to Leave fort Mcmurray due to loosing our home we had to pay an extra fee to ship three bags. It does not do much for the image of Air Canada be a leader in the industry and be up front all the way."

Cons: "They didnt board by area or rows for ecomon it was a mess on the plane with people from different sections trying to find overhead bin space and get by each other in the aisle. When the person in front of me tilted her seat it was inches from my face, not a good feeling. The leg room was adequate. The Boeing 737 is a nice aircraft."

Pros: "The crew was friendly and multi-lingual. The food was fine and beverages were frequently offered. I live in Michigan, but flights from Windsor (via Toronto) to Europe are much less expensive, so well worth the drive over the border."
Cons: "This airline only allows for one free checked bag when flying internationally. The checked bag size is stringent (but at least travelers are notified about that several times when booking and paying on line. The movie options are limited, but still enough variety to find something to watch."
