Poor performance by Jet blue. Lost of time and money for me. Thumps down. Blue is my favorite color, live up to it."

Ground crew was horrible and the complete procedure is horrible, I’ve never had such experience with JetBlue. To improve you should start putting kiosks, and mobile check-in URGENTLY please"

At no point was there a gate change announcement overhead (there were gate change announcements made for flights to Bermuda, Boston and San Francisco). During the boarding process many people stood and went in before their group was called, one agent noticed it and told the agent checking the boarding passes “all of these people are group A?” To which the other agent replied: “no, but I can’t do anything about it”. If there are group assignments, they need to honor that, as some people pay to board earlier."

Meanwhile it took several hours to receive water and pretzels, pizza finally came after 9 hr wait(which gave me heartburn). Ground crew disorganized feeding us excuses of weather (wx) which initially was a landing gear problem for first 1.5 hr delay then again WX and ATC not assigning a route(while other airlines departing no problem) then crew timed out then no plane & again waiting for crew...Seriously? What a management!!! Reading comments below this keeps repeating however this was about 13 hours delay. This company should quit!"

Pros: "The flight was delayed due to some maintenance issues. Staff were friendly calm and helpful to the extent they could be with something out of their control. The company rerouted a different plane to take us since ours was going to be so late, turning a 2 1/2 hr delay into just a 1 hr delay. Boarding was super efficient, in flight service excellent. They comped us our headphones because of the delay, a nice touch. This is my 3rd great customer service experience with JB in as many months (the other 2 involved waiving charges to change flights, once gor me when I was suddenly ill, and for my cousin, when a changed circumstance made her need to travel on a different day, alone with 4 kids). Between Kayak and JetBlue app I got very frequent updates on flight status, but gate staff also were there and informed us in person."

When we landed, we had to wait for everyone to get off the plane to be able to go back to those bins. And someone had already exited the plane with my husband’s suitcase. Their suitcase was left. We spent an hour with Suitcase Services, but could not find out who took my husband’s suitcase. (No ID inside theirs) I recommend that you board lower numbered rows first so that people in the back rows don’t take the front bins!"

The gate agent who didn’t ask for my name tells me I was all the down at the bottom of the list. While I am glad that I got on I wish I knew what method is use to get your name on the stand by list?"

Pros: "I didn’t like the crew on board .. everyone else was good, there was a flight attendant on my flight very rude, I asked if it was possible to get an additional snack, and she looked at me, she told me something that I didn’t understand , she placed an extra snack on my tray.. then she picked it up and took it away from me … that was extremely rude .. I am a 71 years old woman and I was never treated the way the attendant treated me"

Lost a day, lost 2 tours, endured additional hotel costs...and the attendant made it clear she was on overtime and we just needed to move on. American Airlines is too big and consolidation of airlines has not been good for the public."

No doubt the crew was also columbus based and eager to get home...as they did. Couldn’t be more pleased to get home"

Cons: "the airplane was absolutely freezing. It was so cold, you could actually see the air blowing (like in winter). There's no need for that. Somehow European airlines manage not to freeze out all their passengers. It was less than a two hour flight but felt like an eternity because it was so uncomfortable. Seat size - this is absolutely the smallest it can/should go. I am pretty skinny, but even I'm running out of room and the seat backs could be made a bit more comfortable. Not only is there almost no recline, but the way they are constructed - they actually push my head forward - not made for short people."

All should of went well from there but they sent me to the wrong gate. Luckily I just made it to the correct gate for boarding. Upon arriving at Chicago there was no one available to provide information on how to get to Royal Jordanian gates. Also on my AA portion of my flight coming into The U S in New York the flight was cancelled and I was told the next flight Available was next day (18hr delay) at the other NY airport. I had to have someone drive from D.C. (My destination) to pick me up"

Cons: "With checking my luggage my bag fee was waived a total of seven times this trip because I'm a military wife to see my husband overseas who is serving a year in Saudi Arabi except this past time on October 2nd at DCA airport. Spoke with the Supervisor Ralph who stated it was against policy. How stringent is this policy if it was waived seven times previously? Policy needs to be reviewed with entire staff. I will no longer use American Airlines because their military convenience and policies no longer seem to favor the military. My husband also after speaking with him will also no longer use your airline including all his members he overseas when they return after their year tour."

Cons: "I thought I was booking an Alaska Airlines flight. I booked on Alaska Airlines website. I picked seats. I missed the part in the email I received later saying I didn't have seats. I never received a check in notification email. It took forever to check in at the airport because the the kiosk took a while to pull up my reservation after asking for additional information. I got stuck with middle seats on 5 hour plus flights when I had actually checked to confirm I could still select a window seat before I booked and did indeed select window seats when I booked."

Cons: "The gate agent didn't enforce the carry-on policies. Large roller bags were turned sideways in the overhead bins. Flight attendants were not friendly. Why pay profit sharing to employees if they still are treating people badly. Overall it was an ok flight, I wouldn't go out of my way to fly them, just if they are the cheapest, because their attitude towards paying customers is horrible. I wish I could return the favor to them one day, I bet they wouldn't like it very much."

Cons: "The flight attendant chastised my husband loudly when doing a pre check before take off. She reached over and yanked his charger our of the socket and stood over him and reprimanded him for not being on airplane mode. The passengers in front were turning around while the passengers behind were laughing. It was excessive and inappropriate. The passengers behind him had tray tables down and video games out and when she addressed them it was in a respectful manner, but when addressing my husband, it was disrespectful and unprofessional. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Then the flight attendants became flustered as they realized they separated a 5 year old child and his father and sat the child in the emergency seat. When several of us attempted to help they were rude so when I put my headphones in to pass the time and didn't hear the woman ask if I was willing to sit in the emergency isle she snidely said "there's always one millenial not paying attention." Ummm.... I had my eyes closed and was listening to my music since they clearly wanted us to mind our own business and NOT try to help the father (meanwhile all of us strangers were trying to figure out how to rearrange in order to help). The only reason entertainment gets a 2 is bc I had good conversation with the passenger next to me, not because of anything United did. Really unbelievable that they continue to operate this way and treat PAYING customers like this. It's sad actually."

Some people arrive late and literally have to run to their plane. Hydration is a huge factor in maintaining a good outlook, being able to think clearly, and maintaining ones health-avoiding blood clots etc. . For safety reasons, please offer water! This should be poured and not in individual plastic bottles which are dangerous and polluting."

Cons: "Yes it's a budget airline but the seats are not very comfortable and there is absolutely no leg room unless your 5'4 and they do not recline. The seating arrangement is nuts they choose for you, you can choose yourself if you join their club and you still have to pay. The carry on/checking fee is $30 if your bag is 50 lbs or less. Otherwise you will pay $75 I believe. The only thing that is free is water by the cup otherwise the small bottle water is expensive. Yes it's a budget airline so remember, on longer flights I think I would rather pay more and have a more comfortable flight. Also the Airbus 319/320 that they use suck. They are old and you feel a lot of turbulence."

I checked in online and meant to pay for a checked bag, but accidentally payed for a carry on. When I went to check in in the morning for the flight they wouldn't refund me a portion of the money. Paying for soda or juice, also ridiculous. The delays were also absurd. We did not get explanations for why were just sitting on the run way and not taking off."

Cons: "Baggage service in Denver. Considering that Denver is a major hub for Frontier, I would have thought that the baggage claim process would be good. On the contrary, we and about 15 - 20 other customers waited more than 90 minutes for our baggage. The conveyer belt bringing the baggage up to the carousel stopped twice. The second time, it was not fixed for nearly 30 minutes - AFTER THIS WAS BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THREE DIFFERENT FRONTIER BAGGAGE PERSONNEL. Frontier baggage personnel were ineffective and indifferent. I asked one Frontier employee about the delays - the only response I got was " They were a little short handed and little behind. " " Total Indifference " seems to bear the Frontier customer service motto as far as baggage is concerned - and I paid for the damn baggage service."

Cons: "Baggage claim. We waited 90 minutes to get our baggage at the main hub of Frontier in Denver. Frontier baggage employees were incompetent and totally disinterested and and had no idea there was any problem with baggage. When this was brought to the attention of three different Frontier employees, no fix was made for nearly thirty minutes - and this was the second time that the conveyor belt stopped. Frontier employees were totally indifferent and did nothing to personally help rectify situation. Customers from multiple flights were waiting extended periods of time. Horrible service and enough to make paying customer refuse to use Frontier in the future."

Pros: "I'll give a thumbs up to a pleasant crew each flight, however, tho both flights were nonstop, both were very late to leave and tho the pilot said he'd make up time going east, that didn't happen and no apologies/explanations. To exacerbate the length of time traveling, both flights baggage retrieval were an hour. Add to that the really ridiculous hour long wait on the runway after landing because a gate wasn't available! Overall Frontier is pretty bad-they obviously do not employ enough people nor implement plans for staying on time or at least working to minimize delays due to weather issues. I have always left late on frontier but succumbed for the last time for a cheaper priced nonstop; it was definitely not worth it. To be clear about judging the length of time: flight out was scheduled to leave 1030 mountain and arrive 400 eastern. It was 630 eastern before we had our bags. Return flight was scheduled 500 eastern departure and 600 arrival mountain. It was 1000 mountain by the time we got our bags. One last comment-there were hundreds of unclaimed bags surrounding the frontier carousel...wonder where they were actually supposed to be???"

Cons: "I was charged $45 at the gate to bring a carry on onto the plane. My carry on fit into the "personal item" box which meant that I wouldn't have to pay for a carry on, but they laughed and said that I would still have to pay This was not made clear anywhere during the purchasing process and represented a 35% increase in the fare at the gate. I was furious and I wil never fly frontier again."

Cons: "Seating is extremely uncomfortable. They are fixed, leave little leg room (it is hard to retrieve things from the floor), and very, very firm. Overall it is the most cramped seating I've every encountered on an airline!"

Pros: "It was cheap, which we appreciated. Even paying for carry on did not add much to the price overall. We will use this airline again. The crew were very nice. Our flight was on time and even got us there early."

NO contact from the flight crew, or other contact from the Captain until we were finally led to a gate. Communication is everything. It would have eased the temperaments of the passengers a great deal to have more updates, and even the presence of a stewardess. NOTHING>"

Cons: "When we checked in at the counter they did not inform us about carry-on charges. Most airlines don't charge fees for carry-ons, but frontier does. We had to pay $60 each for small carry-on at the gate. This practice is unfair to people who are not familiar with cheap airline business models. They should be more transparent about their fees on the ticket and at the counter. This cheap airline is so cheap that they couldn't hire enough staffs at the DCA gate. There's only one staff checking in the tickets at the gate and we had to wait until everyone went into the plane to pay for our $60 check in fees."

Cons: "I feel like Frontier takes the no frills thing a bit extreme, and then relies on the customer to work within the confines of their rules without making it super clear what those rules are. Seats a VERY uncomfortable, thin almost non-existent padding over hard plastic. Seats also cost money and you're not offered to buy your seats ahead of time but only when you check in, or if you know ahead how Frontier operates. Puts some folks in the position of having to buy expensive seats on the spot at check in. Also this is my 3rd Frontier flight in as many months and every time something has gone wrong, delays, or computers down. 1 more chance with me on my flight home in 2 weeks. If it messes up again, I'm officially never booking again."

Pros: "Frontier at one time was a decent airline, not any more. You pay to either carry on or check a bag, carry on is more expensive. No reclining seat, no leg room unless you want to pay another added fee for the privilege. No beverage unless you pay extra yet again. Their only redeeming quality was a safe flight and our bags didn't get lost. Never flying Frontier again."

Cons: "Didn't like that my seat was hard and uncomfortable and didn't seem to recline. Both my flights were delayed; waited an hour for baggage transfer from a connecting flight that really should have been sent the next day. Had to pay for a soft drink. Don't like all the extra costs on this airline. Might be more tolerable if the comfort level was higher. No entertainment folks, so be sure to bring your own, along with peanuts, drink or any other snack you may want. I will be sure to research airlines better before booking next time."

Cons: "It was absurd that I had to pay for a carry on and then place it in row 17 when I was sitting in row 4. I boarded when I was supposed to; it was bizarre and several other people faced the same problem. I fly a lot and I think it's happened maybe two other times in ten years that my carry on has been behind me -- and never so far."

Pros: "The staff was very personable and helpful, and there was plenty of leg room onboard. Heading into Denver, our flight was late and the staff let everyone onboard know that our group needed to exit the aircraft first. Those onboard were more that happy to ensure we made our connection."

Once there, we did get to the gate easily enough, only to have our flight delayed in Denver. We had to sit on the tarmac for over half and hour before we could get to a gate. I'm also not a big fan of the 'pay for everything separately' type of fare. These days, travel is expensive enough without having to nickel and dime everything, including bags and snacks."

Pros: "I had low expectations since Frontier's switch to low budget. But after accepting the inevitable add-on costs for carry on, seat reservations etc, I found the flight comfortable and efficient. Only gripe is that the seat did not decline, which I assume helps them cram more seats into the cabin."

Cons: "Seats were barely minimum quality, no entertainment systems, no food (not even a little bag of peanuts or pretzels), flights were late, and on the last leg I missed my connection, partly because we were late, but also because there was no ground crew to get the plane to the gate, so we waited over 15 minutes just meters from the dock, and watched the ground crew handle several other planes down the line, during which time my last flight must have taken off. I was rebooked on the next flight to my destination, even mentioning my checked bag, which I hoped would also be placed on the next flight out. That last flight was also delayed in departing, and when I arrived at my destination, my bag did not. I filed a claim, and was told I'd receive an email with a claim # and contact info, and my bag would be delivered to my home the following day. No emai arrived, and no bag arrived. I have filed another claim via the airline's web site, so we'll see what happens. Also, they charge high prices (IMO) for checked bags, carry-on bags (1 personal item is free), and seat selection. Not as economical as it seems at first! I doubt I will ever use this airline again."

Pros: "My husband said that there was a little more room than usual in the seats, in part bc the seats don't have a full size drop down tray. I did appreciate that the seats were comfortable even though they don't tilt back, and since they don't tilt back, it means you don't have the person in front of you tilting all the way back into your space."

It's annoying enough that you have to pay to get a seat assignment and to take a bag (carry on or check) but when the flight attendant said it would cost be $1.99 to get a cup of coffee, that was it for me. I also found the dinky little half trays annoying - there's no way to do anything on them. and since they don't lock, every child on the plane spent the entire trip dropping them down to hear the loud sound they made. Also with the arm rests. Oy. Also, the board of our flight out of Denver was ridiculous. The flight was delayed quite a bit and then Frontier check in person not once but twice announced we would begin boarding only to then realize it wasn't ready yet and shut the doors. It was really weird."

Because of these delays we missed our connecting flight. We stood in line for more than an hour to see when we could fly out. We were told the airline would not compensate us for a hotel room even though the next flight out was not to be until the afternoon of the next day. Because of a convention in town there were NO hotels available. I am a 70 year old woman and I had to spend the night in the airport with my grandson. I have not had any sleep and we are still waiting (3 & 1/2 hours to go as of now) for our flight out. Because Frontier does not partner (I think this is likely the other way around) with any of the other airlines we could not even get a flight with one of them. Beyond that the seats are plastic with barely any padding and most uncomfortable. I will NEVER use this airline again. I am outraged."

Pros: "The crew was very friendly and the plane for the most part was clean."
Cons: "This is a very stripped down way to travel. Expect to be nickeled and dimed for everything. Carry on ran me $40. However, they don't check if you actually paid the carry on fee and put your things in the overhead compartment. I watched people putting the backpacks and other items up there (and they did not pay). Additionally, nothing is for free on board- food and drinks will cost you (even a soda). The worst was not realizing you are assigned a seat (free), I got the middle seat (yay)! If you want to check in and select a seat, it will cost you $9 to $45 for any seat (they also do not recline)... Just crazy! My trip ended up costing me the same amount as a Virgin America ticket I passed up because it was too expensive."

Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "The man at the check in counter was rude and I sat in line waiting for over 30 minutes though I arrived at 2. The flight attendants were rude and not very courteous. The flight was also very turbulent. Worst flying experience and I've been flying since I was 5"

Pros: "Nothing of note"
Cons: "Multiple charges that bought 'low' airfare up with others, yet lacked any free perk/service. Felt duped. Nickel-&-dimed for even a drink of water. Took abt an HOUR for luggage to appear! WTF? Hated it. Will not fly Frontier ever again unless desperate."

Pros: "Boarding 21st organized"
Cons: "They would not add my tsa precheck to my ticket when I checked in, I have never had that issue before. And I tried calling in days before the flight to add it but spent almost 30 min on hold on three differnt calls and never got a real person."

Cons: "Seats were extremely uncomfortable, barely any leg room, seats did not recline, seats were narrow. Flight attendants kept repeating messages. I weigh 145 pounds and am 5'11", for me to feel crammed into a seat is ridiculous. I will not be flying frontier any more based on this experience."

Pros: "The plane is clean and the crew nice."
Cons: "I'm sure you get this all the time and you clearly have thought about it but when you add up all of the ala carte extras, then the fact is another airline would likely be better. I spend $16 on the seat and $40 on the carry on. Interesting nickel and dime concept for sure. But then I get to the seat and it doesn't recline. OK, that's fine I guess I only paid $16 for the seat. But what's with that thing you call a "pull down tray". You can't get a computer on it, even my tiny MAC. So I put my briefcase on my lap and I guess made my own little table. That's a bit much."

Pros: "All was on time, crew was friendly, emergency on board was handled well."
Cons: "The seats are not movable, so you could not lean back a little. No screen for entertainment, tray table was less than half the normal size, uselss, snack choices, had little that one might consider healthy. A lot of junk food, and a huge offering of alcoholic beverages. Could we maybe have healthier food. It could still be pre-packaged somehow. Cost of carry on: $30. Checked suitcase: $25. That did not really make any sense, other than they make more money that way. Also irritating that if you want to have a specific seat, rather than waiting for what you might get at the airport, you have to call them, and pay $13 for a seat reservation. They are nickel and diming you, or rather in dollars. It is a rip off."

Cons: "Overall not happy with my Frontier experience. Extra charges for bags and seat assignment are really ridiculous if they aren't explained upfront. Would have booked on a different airline if I'd realized those fees would drive up my fare another $50. After all that the plane itself feels crowded and uncomfortable. Their "schedule" is also misleading and neither of my flights took off or landed as advertised. I also really hated watching flight attendants (people responsible for your safety!) finish each flight by pitching a credit card. Truly awful."
