Cons: "When booking the flight, the only seats that showed as available were premium seats that I had to pay $150 extra for each way. Upon boarding I saw that there were many, many seats available so I spent that money for nothing."

The second flight Alaska Airlines from Washington DC to Portland was delayed, but I never flew. I got a direct flight from American Airlines from Charlotte to Portland instead."

Cons: "Didn't realize the seat I selected didn't recline because it was in front of the exit row. I sat straight up for 5 hours and 10 minutes. I wish I would have known this at the time of booking. That was extremely uncomfortable. When I asked the crew about it, they said "yup sorry year seat doesn't recline because it's near an exit row." No apologies, no concern, no trying to find an alternate solution. I couldn't figure out how to work the Wi-Fi and so I asked a crew member and she was less concerned about trying to help me figure it out and was more concerned about trying to get me to rent an iPad."

Not sure if it was the gentlemans first time but overall he and the woman working the boarding were very slow and could have been more efficient. We boarded late (may be out of their control) but when we started boarding there was too much wasted time between calling up the military/people with longer boarding needs/wheelchairs etc. They waited until they were completely boarded and settled prior to calling the next group then spent time fiddling with the sign that splits the boarding lanes etc. Just appeared that there was no sense of efficiency. While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Pros: "From start to finish the flight faced problems: unscheduled stop for refueling, change in planes for mechanical problems, emergency medical intervention, and more. Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

The leg room was too small. There were no sweet cookies within the snacks. Fly attendants did their work, but were not particularly pleasing."

Cons: "We didn't have seats assigned and the gate attendent didn't take the time to tell any of the 20 of us waiting for 15-20 mins to speak to a gate agent what was going on until AFTER she boarded the rest of the plane. When asked what was going on she responded "excuse me, I'll get to you when I get to you and thanks for your 'non attitude'" to the woman who asked her if she had any plans to greet us or even ackwnowledge us. Then the flight attendants became flustered as they realized they separated a 5 year old child and his father and sat the child in the emergency seat. When several of us attempted to help they were rude so when I put my headphones in to pass the time and didn't hear the woman ask if I was willing to sit in the emergency isle she snidely said "there's always one millenial not paying attention." Ummm.... I had my eyes closed and was listening to my music since they clearly wanted us to mind our own business and NOT try to help the father (meanwhile all of us strangers were trying to figure out how to rearrange in order to help). The only reason entertainment gets a 2 is bc I had good conversation with the passenger next to me, not because of anything United did. Really unbelievable that they continue to operate this way and treat PAYING customers like this. It's sad actually."

I provided documentation of the situation and requested a refund. I received $106 on a $715 ticket. There was no explanation of how they determined the refund, but I'm not happy."

That did not really make any sense, other than they make more money that way. Also irritating that if you want to have a specific seat, rather than waiting for what you might get at the airport, you have to call them, and pay $13 for a seat reservation. They are nickel and diming you, or rather in dollars. It is a rip off."

Then if you chose a seat you had to pay extra - if you wanted a reclining seat you had to pay extra - the exit row seats were $50 more -you had to pay for sodas - pretzels - everything! I will NOT fly Frontier again - it is cheaper to fly a major airline without all the add on costs. Dianne Robinson"

Cons: "I had an 11-hour delay from DCA to DIA. There was little, if any, communication from Frontier personnel to passengers about why, and what was being done about it. There were points in time where there wasn't a representative at the ticket counter or the gate. The customer service reps on the phone couldn't help either. I eventually ended up spending the night in Denver, and over 27 hours late into SFO."

Cons: "I don't like the airlines' carry on policy of charging $45 if you bring a carry-on bag onboard to be placed in the overhead. It is a ridiculously fee, especially since once on board passengers are only offered water anything else has to be purchased. To some extent flying is a luxury and most will pay for that experience but Frontier was not luxurious and I will avoid flying Frontier in the future."

This wasn't a big deal, but there was clearly something wrong with the company technology where she was not able to see on her end that I had paid."

Seats cheaper, tray tables cheap, and so forth. The tray tables are so small they can't hold anything (which was disappointing because I had work to do). It's crazy that you all are charging for drinks other than water. Not a big deal, I get that the models are changing. I just likely will not fly Frontier again unless I must. You all should take more pride in providing a comfortable and warm environment for passengers."

The cabin was too warm and vented air was insufficient to make up for this. 3. after landing from a 3 hour flight we sat on the runway for almost an hour before being allowed to proceed to the gate and unload. 4. The departure terminal has insufficient amenities to support a 3 hour flight where no food or beverage is provided."

Cons: "Frontier performed the classic cheap fair approach to lure me in and then tried to nickel and dime me for everything. The most shocking discovery was I couldn't check in online without paying an extra $13 per leg ($26 total) just to sit in a seat. Then when I checked in at the counter they informed me I could check in free in person, but in that case I would have to fly standby. Who does that to people!? Anyways, it got worse. They wanted to charge me for a carryon, for a juice, no treats not even peanuts without having to pay, truly a disgraceful service ensued. This will be my last flight with Frontier most likely unless I am desperate and some plague has hit my city and they are the last functioning airline out."

I fortunately I noticed when shecking in and prepaid for a checked bag. Which strangly is the less expensive option. I have flown Frontier several times and this is a newer policy. I always remind myself after a Frontier flight that I will not fly with them again but their low fares keep luring me back. But no more . This is a deal breaker for me. I can pay a little more for my flight and get a free carry on and a drink! I also did not appreciate having to BUY a seat assignment."

My frontier desk printed boardin pass said my flight was at 5 (normal time) when I had already been notified that it was delayed an hour, which. Turned into an hour and fourty minutes. I paid 15 or 20 for a better seat 5c and had a ridiculous excuse for a tray table, less room than any flight I've ever been on and uncomfortable seats. Neither pilot not flight attendants apologized for inconvenience and then I got an email that offers me a $100 voucher for another flight. Great, now I can use your airline and only pay for my seat and carry on bag! There are more frustrations but I'll give them to you if I ever have any contact. I'm not writing it all down and wasting more of my time on your unorganized airline."
