Upon arrival in China the 144 hour travel visa was granted with no problem within minutes, but the U.S. staff was completely befuddled by the possibility. The interrogation was completely stressful and resulted in a reschedule of the original flight and during the second attempt at flying even an email from the U.S. consulate with a link to the Shanghai/Chinese government immigration site was deemed "not official enough". i will be expecting proper compensation. I was once given an $850 travel voucher for voluntarily giving up my seat, and was flown first class to Hawaii, given 4 star accomodation and then flown first class on to China within 48 hours. This was an involuntary bump from our chosen flight time, all because of a lack of knowledge about current visa regulations and international law on the part of the check in staff. We have been loyal Delta users for over 15 years, and this was the biggest blunder ever. Also humiliating and extremely frustrating, stressful and a big problem with fulfilling our travel plans between son and father."

It would be nice if there was a way to ensure this didn't happen. If people need more than 1 seat, they should be required to pay for more than one seat, and not 'steal' my space. If you have connecting flights, are flying for business, or don't pack your own refreshments assuming that something standard services will be, well, standard, Delta is probably not who you want to fly with. I work in the industry and sm usually not this brutally honest, but the whole trip was pretty disappointing."

What difference does it make!? On long Delta flights, you get a meal (you pay for it in the cost of your ticket), but I was put on an Alaska Airlines flight where the meals are $7.50! I think that if Delta puts you on an affiliated airline, they should pick up the tab for the meal. Entertainment is via your smartphone. Don't have a smartphone, no problem, cough up $10 for a 2 bit tablet to watch a movie!"

Cons: "The scrambled eggs for breakfast appeared to be powered eggs, or overcooked eggs. The storage bins for the luggage were very small for the middle seats (aircraft was an Airbus A330-200). After several hours of flying, there was trash in the aisles and on the toilet floor. The toilets were dirty and not cleaned. Finally, the toilets ran out of paper towels and tissues with 3 hours to go in the flight, and they were never refilled. The flight attendants put a roll of toilet paper next the sink to use for your hands."

Additionally, the touchscreen was very difficult to navigate, as it jumped between non-responsive and too sensitive throughout the flight. Furthermore, the headphone jack should be updated, so that passengers can use their own headphones without an adapter. The headphone audio setup at my seat did not work very well."

Not expected from Lufthansa, especially as I have had great experience with Lufthansa earlier."

I was told I couldn't get on the flight with 3 bags, even though all 3 would fit under the seat. The free entertainment contained a grey box over part of the image reminding I could pay for more. Was only given a tiny glass of soda, I remember when they would give a can. I will consider another airline in the future."

That was my choice in the matter though."

A delay that was at first 10-15 minutes, then changed 4 or 5 times until it ended up being a 30 minute delay caused me to miss my next flight because I only had a 50 minute layover in DC. No one could tell us why the flight was delayed in the first place, then I got off my plane, and was told that I had already missed my flight, and given a voucher for a hotel room, and it turned out that the second flight was delayed as well. Then I had to wait an hour for my bag to make it from the plane to baggage claim because they did not put it on the conveyor with the rest of the passengers' luggage, even though I specifiaclly asked them to do so when I got off the plane and got my hotel voucher."

Cons: "Two flights both of which had long delays that were not weather or passenger related. Plane had sardine can seating."

Customer service was completely rude and inconsiderate and the "supervisor" that hung up on out phone calls 3 times was completely disrespectful with our issue. I will never be traveling with this company again."

Pros: "Cheap and non stop, free chargers"
Cons: "Allowed people to put personal items and carry ons in overhead bins which forced some to check bags. Internet option is useless without Hulu, Netflix support."
