There were two dogs on board, one in a row toward the front and one in the back. There was nowhere that I could go and allergens were probably circulated in the system. There was also a terrible odor that several others said they could also smell. The attendant said that there was nothing that could be done, and we suffered through the entire flight. Also, the TV control was broken and there was no option to turn off the TV. The attendant said that there would be a $25 voucher issued for compensation. We have not heard a peep from anyone!"

Usually I have great flights with JetBlue. Last night was not the case. You get a C."

Unfortunately the girl who sat next to me had panic attacks and ‘seizures’ the whole flight long, requesting medical personnel on board and the constant attention of the attendants. No sleep to be had. By far my worst experience flying all around."

When we got to the gate our flight to Boston was delayed until 3am from midnight. I tried getting a seat assignment but was told I had to wait until all the other flights were taken care of. I finally got my seat with my husband after 10p. I am a very nervous flyer so this was very nerve racking for me. But once I got my seat I calmed down. We always fly Jet Blue when we can. The flight itself was wonderful. And the counter folks were very patient with the customers dealing with delays."

Had to rent from another higher cost rental car firm as was a “walk up rate renter”. Spent an hour getting the last rental car which of course reeked of pot smoke smell, and was a compact."

Seats seemed roomier than most standard economy/coach (probably due to it being an older model). Though I didn’t partake they seemed to offer more complimentary snack options than other airlines."
Cons: "The airplane cabin had a strong urine odor that endured throughout the red-eye flight, the air temperature had to have been at least 75 degrees, probably 80 which was a bit stifling. No usb/power at the seat which would be preferable/should be standard by now for a coast-to-coast flight. Seat didn’t recline which isn’t the end of the world but a bit of a bummer. My headphones didn’t work with the little screen at my seat but it’s ok because based on my neighbor’s screen it was just a rotating lineup of Jet Blue commercials/fake tv shows that I can easily pass on."

I saw people being allowed to board with way more bags than you said were permitted and some of the on plane bags were so huge that the front people had to check their bags at the last minute. Boarding was slow as it was clear that the stuff was not fitting in the overhead compartments. What happened to dimensions of bag restrictions? It is frustrating to the people that abide by the rules to see them so flagrantly ignored."

Cons: "When I arrived to check in at 5:48am for my 6:20am flight, I was treated very poorly. The lady at the counter asked me what time my flight was and I said 6:20 and right off the bat she was extremely rude and said that I missed the flight. I panicked internally and asked her how that was possible?! She said the cutoff was at 5:45am and I missed it. I asked if there were other flights available today or tomorrow and she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to call the booking company to see if they could book me. I wanted to cry because my friend had just dropped me off and I called to see if she was close enough to turn back. Luckily she hadn’t left yet. I called the booking company and they were able to book me a trip for the following day but they charged me an additional $100. I wish they had disclosed that we need to be there 45 minutes to an hour early otherwise you miss your flight. And it’s ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $100... financially it was stressful due to the covid 19 situation. I was extremely disappointed in how the lady at the check in counter at American Airlines treated me. She www extremely rude and I have never been spoken to in a way that made me feel attacked."

On board WiFi can be used to access movies and other entertainment on the your own device but make sure your battery is charged and you have an external battery also since the seats don't have power. I tried to sleep but it is not easy for me to fall sleep when the seat back reclines only 3 inches so I didn't have luck taking a nap. Conclusion: I am not taking this flight any more. I will go back to taking will switch back to flying Delta even though there are no direct flights."

Cons: "Boarding could be improved if they would start boarding from the back of the plane to the front after boarding 1st class and Priority this way people would not block the passage when putting their luggage in the top compartments. The crew was not very helpful because I almost went into a hypothermia condition because the air in the cabin was extremely cold. When I ask for a blanket one of the stewardesses said that AA would no longer have blankets in flight which I prove it wrong when I saw in the flight Mai-SDQ blanquets all over the cabin. The soliton they gave me was that they would ask the crew to raise the temp in the cabin, I had to make the request three times and I had to tell the stewardess that if not raising the temperature in the cabin I could have gone into an emergency hypothermia crisis. I had to take another shirt from my carry-on to put it over my shirt to warm me up."

My route and airlines were completely changed, which caused a big delay in original arrival time. In addition to that, my luggage did not make it and I'm still waiting to find out where my suitcases are. Very disappointed."

Of course, the flight attendant made sure to keep our beverages topped off as needed. It was a wonderful experience"
Cons: "The boarding process for just about any airline is nearly identical. It always seems like it takes longer to board than expected even if, in reality, it's not an unreasonable amount of time. The only think I didn't care for was that overhead storage in the area I was sitting was just about full by the time I was seated which meant that I had to store my carry on a few rows behind where I sat. This meant that during off-boarding I needed to go against the flow of people to get back to my carry on. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience."

Cons: "I was told I would be able to choose the seats only 24 hours before the flight by going online. I tried to choose the seats online but could not have access to the site. I then called the number provided to ask for more help, and was told that I could then only choose the seats at the check in time. I was at the airport 2 hours before the flight schedule to book my seat and was told them that I could only choose the seats at the gate. Once I got at the gate I asked the person to please give me a seat at the aisle for medical reasons but after waiting until the boarding process had started I was giving a middle seat. Not only I was treated as a stand by passenger that had not purchased the tickets I was put nt on group 8 and at the moment of boarding the gate personal aggressively grabbed my carry-on bag because they insisted there was no more spaces in the compartment above heads. Once I got inside of airplane I saw many empty compartments available for carry-on luggage. I wish I had not purchased my ticket with Iberia Airlines operated by American Airlines. It was not a good, pleasant experience and do not recommend. I wil certainly avoid in the future and not travel this way another time. Thanks"

Cons: "Your plane needs outlets to charge electronics. Unless your gonna show movies on your flights, ppl need a way to entertain themselves for the flight. If they burn through all their battery power, it's an inconvenience to try to charge it in the airport when they land. All of the outlet Chargers in Chicago, Seattle and Philly were broke as well. The U tied wing was amazing. Your prices are great but to keep ppl from rather paying more just for one or two more luxuries, try fixing this."

Cons: "No food! except pretzels and sandwiches for purchase. I didn't purchase a sandwich but the two guys next to me did and were both vocal about their disappointment with what they received for $9. And they were strangers who didn't talk to each other the rest of the time, so I think they meant it. Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using onboard wifi, as well as 2 tv shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."
Cons: "My flight was changed 3 times-- always pick a window seat and was changed to aisle seat. The attitude at the ticket counter was "you're lucky to get any seat", flight was overbooked, the boarding process and deplaning were absurd with all the people bringing on way too much carry on luggage !!! It takes almost 30 min to get off the plane!!"

Pros: "The crew was nice. When I finally arrived in Denver, Marlin in customer service was the only saving grace for United for me. When I asked for options for an earlier flight into Rapid City so I didn’t have to wait 24 hours and miss my visit with my sister, he looked at different hubs (Chicago, Minneapolis) to see if they had any available flights into Rapid, he checked for double bookings, and when he couldn’t find anything, he put me on the standby list for the first flight out in the morning and wrote down the flight information for all of the United flights from Denver for the following day. Marlin provided excellent customer service and was a huge credit to the company."
Cons: "The flight was supposed to leave at 3:56 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 pm. I would estimate at least 15-20 people missed connecting flights because of the delay. According to the United app, the delay initially started in Portland due to mechanical issues, which took over 3 hours. Then, there was a weather delay in San Francisco according to the gate agent - there was a ground hold and no planes were landing or flying out. At some point, I would think another plane would have been an option rather than delaying a flight for this long and disrupting holiday travel for so many people."

Cons: "Every person employed by United is either overworked until the point of jadedness is issued with their first paycheck, or they get paid in Monopoly money. There were flight delays, and really I was good with that, but when I approached a staff member, he literally said “what do you want?!” Before I even opened my mouth. The phone lines are operated by someone in a foreign country. And after the flight caused me an overnight layover, they offer you a measly discount voucher for a place to stay. I can only hope that someone out there is getting better treatment than the poor people I saw on this flight, or at any united desk I attempted to get help from."

Cons: "I selected economy comfort in the kayak app, but when I called about my boarding pass, kayak said they only sell basic economy. What did I buy? UAL only sells a limited selection of overpriced food. There is no music and you have to pay to see the flight map."
Cons: "We missed the whole vacation due to United flt. 599 being late into SFO. We missed the Zurich flight by 7 minutes due to a mechanical issue (overhead bin lid would not stay closed.) United customer service was very poor and after 16 hrs. at SO without resolution on flights and schedule, we just came back home. If Siss Air could have waited 10 minutes for 12 or more passengers, we would have been fine. I don't know if United communicated with them or not. This was a disaster!"

Most airlines will seem to help you with hotels or food and whatnot if you had to be rebooked. We ended up booking a hotel through the Hotel Tonight for a great rate although it’s unrefundable. Turns out we get to the airport and our original connecting flight was severely delayed and we would have made it on to that flight. So either way we were stuck with a loss."
Cons: "My friend and I have taken our hiking packs to Alaska, California, Washington, and all along the East coast. Never have we been asked to check our packs. I was mostly surprised, at first. Once I was seated a man in front of me had his hiking pack and two ukuleles in their cases, neither of which could fit under his seat. That's when I became frustrated. O This plane sucks: our knees were slammed into the seat in front of us because the chairs are so close together. No USB plugs. Plane was dirty, scuff marks on the wall and ceiling. There was paper in the pouch that looked like a mouse had chewed on it."

Cons: "New looking plane but the TVs behind all the chairs were locked without a credit card. The new chairs looked great until you sat in them. I'm 5'10" and my knees were already brushing up against the seatback in front of me. If you push the recline button on the armrest, the chair doesn't go back (of course it doesn't, the person's legs behind me are probably up against my chair anyway). Multiple people around me were also asking around if the chairs recline. I have a mild back injury and sitting up at 90 degrees the entire way was very uncomfortable."

Cons: "We arrived late in Denver and had to sit at the gate and wait for the jetway person to arrive and connect the jetway to the plane. I also didn't like the fact that I had to buy Economy Plus because my wife and I were not only not assigned seats together after booking, we were not assigned seats at all. When I booked the flights I was only allowed to choose seats for the first flight - Charlotte to Houston...but not for the other three legs of our Charlotte to Seattle trip. The only two seats together from Houston to Seattle were in the very last row. And, on our return flight we had to purchase Economy Plus in order to sit together."
Pros: "More important than the trip home last Wednesday was the reason for the trip. We attended my granddaughter's wedding. Everything else was secondary. Even if the trip had been in a one wheeled barrow, it would have been good. To get to what you want which is the mechanics of the trip. The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done."

Sometimes when the plane stops after it has pulled away from the Jet Way, the pilot gives an explanation that I find unfulfilling, not enough details. I suppose if they explained more, other fliers would find the explanation too verbose. I can live with it. Again this is about all flights and airlines. Nothing stands out, such as, " this awful thing happened when we left San Francisco.""

Cons: "The plane was full and we were on basic economy. The folks at the gate were rude and unhelpful, at the United kiosk the personnel were openly hostile. Thank goodness the crew treated us with some decency and were very nice."

Cons: "The boarding gate attendants were rude and uncaring when we asked them to help us switch pre-assigned seats to ensure our two year old sat with us. While we might have understood better had they been empathetic, they were rude and uncaring and said when you book online you sign a waiver and they can not do anything about this. Wow. This was our flight back. Originally on the way to our destination we had used Delta and that customer service experience was completely different even though that flight was full too. Never flying United again as long as I can avoid it."
Cons: "Delayed getting on our way I think because they were late getting in and had to do all the plane checking. Captain said safety checks. Seat space felt tight and I am short."
Cons: "One of the crew members was late to arrive, so boarding was delayed. However, The gate crew was amazing, very communicative and apologetic. During the flight the attendants seemed very agitated, I think a smile would go along way to improve the attitude of everyone. I also work with the public, I get that it is challenging, but I do believe that the simple gesture of a smile sets the tone."
Cons: "The fact that I was stranded in Colorado due to weather and they would not refund my ticket even though I had purchased insurance. They wouldn't even give me a credit. Will have to think twice about doing business through KAYAK and United from now on."

Cons: "Will NEVER fly United again. Going home to advise EVERYONE I know not to fly United. They straight suck. Starving people on long flights with hot food for a third of the plane?!?!?! Then telling me I'm wrong for expecting a meal on an almost 7 hour flight?!?!?! &, even better, the reason my son & I starved all morning, day , & evening because EVERY single flight (all 3) were late, one so much so that we almost missed the connecting flight. Wow, is all I can say. After I still have United a chance after assaulting that poor man. Beyond highly disappointed."
Cons: "My fiancé and I packed a suitcase together and it was 3lbs over the 50lb limit. They refused to let it slide and when we asked how much it would be if we left it they said it would cost us $100 for an oversized bag. We already paid the $25 so it makes no sense for it to cost $100 more. They were completely unreasonable and not helpful. Not to mention the flight was an hour late. Our flight on the way out was completely cancelled all together and no one bothered to tell either of us. Then they rerouted us on completely different flights! We had to basically throw a fit to get on the same flight, which ended up being 8 hours AFTER our original flight was supposed to leave. The entire experience was a disaster and I will never fly united again."

Pros: "Barb M. was at the front desk at the United Lounge. She is an incredibly kind human being. I was very sick and this flight was delayed so it was going to cause me to miss my connecting flight overseas. She tried all that she could to rebook me on a different flight but the problem was the destination's air traffic control, not the airplane, so it wasn't going to fix the problem. I was able to rebook my connecting flight, at a cost, but at least I wasn't going to miss it. Barb went and made me hot tea with fresh ginger, mint leaves, and honey for my throat. Through a difficult situation, she was a ray of sunshine and kindness."
Cons: "Every time I travel United, it is delayed. I don't understand why. In this situation the problem was the airline so I understand that is beyond what United controls."

Cons: "Maybe it's because I haven't flown in a few years but it seems that the airlines are packing in as many seats as they can, without regard to the passengers who are shoved into tiny seats for 5+ hours without even being able to stretch their legs. We were in the last row where you can't even lean your seat back but the guy in front of me was just about in my lap the whole flight. Charging for in flight entertainment and meals also seems like the airlines care less for customer satisfaction than the money they can get from passangers. While boarding, we were stopped in first class because the flight attendant was in the aisle getting drinks for first class...Before all the passengers boarded. Also, why is every flight told they get one carry on plus a personal item when that isn't really the case? If the flight is full, apparently there is not enough room for each passanger to have a carry on so people who have delicate items packed in their carry ons have to surrender them and pray their precious vacation purchases aren't smashed when they get their luggage back. Quantity over quality."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled they never told me , and after I explained to them I bought this ticket two hours ago because my grandmother and uncle were dying and I needed to get there, they lied to me told me I would be on a different flight and still get there at the same time. Well my flight was not the same time it was three hours different and if I made it there like they promised the first time I would have been able to kiss my grandma one last time. She died a hour before I got there. And now I'm fighting with them for a refund."

Cons: "United had us board and unboard and then board again due to flight delays. United also told us the delay would be only 40 minutes, but I looked at the delay in SFO and it was 2 hours. Eventually United also increased our delay by 30 minute intervals until it was about 2 hours. Once I arrivied in SFO I got a text message notification stating my luggage had been put on an incorrect flight and I would have to return to get my luggage. The attendants at the podium were rude. This was my first terrible flying experience ever."

Arrived late to Denver because of weather, but my stroller that I had left on the jetway in Seattle was never put on the plane which I didn't know until I got to minot. I was going to wait for it in denver, but I would have missed my flight to minot had I waited 5 more minutes. We arrived to minot only to find out that our 3 suitcases, one stroller and 2 car seats were never in the flight. Awful! And my connecting flight was even delayed an extra 55 min so I don't quite know where my things are."

Cons: "I missed my first flight because the plane left 15 min early. I was at the gate before the plane detached and the guy said I should be on the plane 15 min before and that he wasn't going to stop the plane from going. I had a business meeting that I was trying to get to so him doing this completely ruined my day and purpose for flying and spending $300 on a flight. I have NEVER experienced anything like this. Once on my rescheduled flight the attendant made several comments about the fact that I had a pillow with me. If you don't know someone situation then you should make any comments at all. I had just finished a 5 day drive across country and unfortunately the pillow needed to get home with me. Not a single employee was kind welcoming or helpful. I will never fly with this airline again. I will be letting EVERYONE I speak to know about this experience and I plan on writing reviews wherever I can find."

Cons: "I am fed up with the herding mentality by most airlines. Since when did purchasing an economy seat mean you are not entitled to at least a modicum of comfort on a flight. The legroom provided now is no where near enough for any normal size human. Additionally it's still annoying to pay $25.00 for a single checked bag. I tried United after many years but will be returning to Southwest Airlines - in the long run it's less expensive. I realize nothing will change based on my opinion, regardless, it is more comfortable and dignified to take a Greyhound bus than to fly a major airline these days."

Cons: "This flight was overbooked. I had to be back at work the next day, so I really needed to take it. The gate agents wouldn't tell me what was going on, only that the flight was overbooked and that they were "trying to get me a seat." I stood there while all of the groups boarded, waiting for my ticket. I was the last person given a ticket. By the time I finally got to board, all overhead space was taken, so I had to gate check my bag. And then someone had taken the seat I was given, so I had to ask him to move, and he started crying (child). He cried for 20 minutes, so that was fun. Also, this was a red eye - I really wanted to sleep, but right as I was dozing off, the flight attendants turned on the lights for drink service. Overall, just a really poor experience and very hard to sleep."
