Pros: "It was on time"
Cons: "Snacks from Lax to Denver"
Pros: "Crew was kinda rude"
Cons: "nothing much"
Pros: "Just a normal flight."
Cons: "Coach seating is always a bit "compact.""
Cons: "I hated that the flight was about 90 minutes LATE which made me almost miss my next flight (had I not jogged an entire airport, I would have)"
Pros: "Upgraded cabin"
Pros: "It went very well considering the route was stormy. Yes, it was a bit “rough” at times but not too much. Shows the great skills of the pilot & besides he made us aware of the storms & possibility of the ride."
Pros: "crew was nice"
Cons: "ended up 4x thru the metal detector 4x : 1x in Dublin, 1x in Brussels & 2x in Chicago: terminal 1 & 2!"
Cons: "Really expensive internet"
Cons: "The website doesn’t specify that the last row has no recline!"
Cons: "Taxied for 45 minutes, got on runway then determined we were low on fuel. Back to gate, refuel, two hour delay"
Cons: "Got delayed big time."
Cons: "My connecting flight was delayed by 4 hours due tknsmong in India. I called United ahead of time to tell them I was not able to make my flight and if there was anyway I could get a new ticket. The representative was confident that 40 minutes between my flights at Delhi was enough time to make it despite me reminding her about the time it took to get off the plane, pick up my luggage, get through immigrations and travel to my terminal. She was very wrong. She insisted I call them when I land and that I go to the ticket booth. Little did she know that once I miss my flight my ticket is no longer valid and I was no longer able to enter the airport in India. Once I reached the entrance I was directed to a Untied booth all the way at the end of the terminal and was told to buy a new ticket. There was no United representative at this booth. I waited 3 hours and even called the number posted at the booth. No one picked up and no one came. I had wasted several hours. I ultimately decided to buy a ticket online spending another thousand dollars to get back home when I was told that I would be given a new ticket at the booth by United. But I had to wait another 24 hours outside the airport because I was not allowed in so early prior to my flight. Very unprofessional and unhelpful when I needed it the most."
Cons: "Smooth ride"
Cons: "My only real issue was that, upon checking in online, I was informed that my boarding pass would be emailed to me. I don't believe it ever was. I checked all of my various email folders, including spam, and saw nothing."
Pros: "The plane took off and landed safely, and pretty much on time."
Cons: "Smallest cabin seats I’ve ever been in. Oversold plane. Bored, uninterested flight attendants. Free DirecTV for some passengers, $8 for others. Peanuts and water/coffee grudgingly served, but lots of enthusiasm for opening a United Credit Card. I will pay more for a different airline next time - just for normal sized seats."
Pros: "Nothing. Smelled and looked like death. Got better service from zombies."
Cons: "Worst service from an airline and 3rd party vendor. I couldn't believe the level of disorganization from their "core" team. I will NOT ever use this service and especially not the American airlines staff, crew or phone staff. This did not only affect my day poorly, but also impacted my family and disrupted my finances. This will not be the last time you hear from me I was very unimpressed."
Pros: "At least it wasn't the next day?"
Cons: "I booked A flight from in Oregon to Tucson Arizona but the layover in San Francisco . The flight from Oregon to California was delayed by an hour and a half which caused me to misconnect. United didn't offer me anything, not even a sorry. Terrible service."
Pros: "I know it's not the crews fault for the delay, but everything was just truly horrendous. I was a little hesitant to fly United after their scandal, but now I know that I should not have. After a 2+ hour delay, I had to pay $60 at the gate to check a CARRY-ON that I had already asked about at the baggage drop at the beginning of that dreadful day. They assured me that it would be no problem, and foolish me, I actually believed them, so instead of paying $25 to check it ahead of time, I got screwed for $60. For a close to 6 hour flight, a meal should be provided. Entertainment was free because of the fiasco, but normally it's $7.99 which is ridiculous. Lastly, the leg room was really nonexistent. Truly the worst experience I've ever had flying, and I've flown plenty of airlines, both domestic and international. I definitely think my return trip back to Jersey will be my last time flying United."
Cons: "Refer to the aforementioned post outlining everything I did not like about this absolute trip from hell. Very disappointing to experience that and it really started the trip out on a sour note. Hopefully it gets better before I have to get back on another United plane back home."
Pros: "Arrived safely and almost on time despite late departure."
Cons: "Boarded plane in nonsensical manner. Had to try to walk opposite the flow of traffic to find room in overhead luggage compartment. Plane was too cold."
Pros: "Friendly, eager to please, amazing staff."
Cons: "Wish flight was longer.... lol... hey, I enjoyed my time!"
Pros: "I liked the short trip and ease of getting on/off"
Cons: "Lack of smiles from the attendant"
Pros: "Everything was fine on the first leg."
Cons: "Delays, very long delays. Not a fault of anyone but United had delays."
Pros: "The crew was helpful and responsive. I appreciated our captain explaining the turbulence."
Cons: "Cramped and uncomfortable. The complimentary snacks were garbage."
Cons: "My seat"
Cons: "United sucked on this leg. Flight never should have left Chicago. We were diverted to Oklahoma City, where United abandoned us. System was unresponsive and noone could override the system. Folks at the counter could not cancel the diverted flight, so United was not able to rebook us on other flights. This was at midnight to 2:00 am. I stayed at the airport to catch a 5:00 am flight to Houston, then to Omaha, then had to rent a car to get the rest of the way. United lied to us about what was happening to us several times. Then abandoned us when the pilots timed out."
Cons: "Weather in Lincoln canceled the flight the night I was supposed to leave so I had to sleep in the airport. With that being said the flight and crew when I finally left to Lincoln were great."
Pros: "The entertainment selection was way better than ANA. They had a huge movie selection. The boarding process was smooth and crew was very nice ans polite for a change. I flew from Tokyo to Houston on United"
Cons: "The leg space in economy is really bad. It feels very congested specially if you are little tall. Also United need retire their current fleet of planes. They are very old and most of planes look past their glory days."
Pros: "Crew on board was very nice"
Cons: "No service waited two hours for our luggage and no one was there to assist us"
Pros: "On time quick flight."
Cons: "No legroom, snack a joke, no entertainment."
Pros: "Everything went better than expected, no line, easy flights , short layovers. Everything just went smooth."
Pros: "Small plane"
Pros: "iwheelchair and cart to get to my plane because of a knee injuryhad a wheelchair or cart to get me through the airport"
Pros: "Board on time Friendly staff Pilot said hello"
Cons: "Very loud inside cabin. Louder than usual I should say. Seats a little snug. Also, was trying to sleep and attendant woke me up twice. Once to ask if I needed a beverage. Another time to see if I had trash."
Pros: "The flight itself was okay"
Cons: "We were delayed 5 hours. When we got to Orlando the gate would not work and after another delay we were pushed back from that gate to another gate, almost another hour. No shuttle service in the airport at 1:30am. We had to wait for someone to operate it."
Pros: "There was a maintenance issue as soon as we all got on the plane (better safe then sorry!), but the crew communicated clearly, gave frequent updates, and made best efforts to have everything run smoothly."
Pros: "Clean interiors"
Cons: "No thru checkin to destination Courtesy of crew a common theme Long transfer times between terminals in FRA"
Cons: "Had a passenger next to me who kept trying to elbow me the arm rest when I was sleeping."
Pros: "That I eventually arrived at my destination. The pilot on the Newark to Chicago segment providing entertainment as an apology for the delay of leaving. The television at the gates while waiting for my very late plane in O'Hare."
Cons: "The understaffed check-in at EWR. The late departure from EWR. The missed connection at ORD. The very late departure from ORD. My luggage was sent to the wrong airport."
Cons: "Crew was not particularly friendly. One man was brusque when I asked for water to fill my small bottle. Rare since most crew members I've experienced have been very pleasant. Snacks were pretty paltry. Ned to serve some biscotti."
Cons: "No entertainment at all makes a 4.5 hr flight really long."
Pros: "The window seat and being able to sleep a little. Smaller plane but a little more room."
Cons: "The ranch mix isn't exactly a breakfast item but at least they tried to feed us something other than just drinks."
Cons: "Tiny space, no access to electricity"
Pros: "Flight and United's new seats are fine."
Cons: "Houston airport closes up shop at 11pm, and they only have chairs with the fixed arms that prevent anyone from laying out on them. LISTEN UP AIRPORTS! the only people overnighting in your airports are people have to wait to a flight in the AM. It's not like we want to live there - we're tryig to ger somewhere else. Even the damn Club lounges close. No 24 hour clubs like at other major airports."
Pros: "Attendants handled everything well!"
Pros: "Had to switch planes. Done quickly only delayed s half hour."
Cons: "Had to switch planes."
