Cons: "The boarding process was different than other airlines. After the special needs passengers and 1st class boarded they just opened it up to everyone else and it create a bit of a mad dash. That could have been controlled a bit better but otherwise it was a great flight."

Despite guaranteeing anyone with a connecting flight would all be taken care of, here I am still stuck in Amsterdam airport... delayed another 10 hours. The service after arrival was poor and slow..2 hours to get new flight"

Pros: "Going by and come Ming back Atlanta check in desk was the rudest Laziest most disrespectful emoyees I have ever came across . Check in person played on her phone and didn’t even look at you when asking what seat was I assigned . Going from Atlanta to Fort Lauderdale the check in person was so rude there where 5 people askI’m her what’s her problem . The crew the flight was excellent but the Atlanta check in desk really dropped the ball 2 times . If I was the manger I would fire the whole staff and If I was above the manager I would fire them as well as I’m. Sure this is not an isolated occasion."

Cons: "I boarded and my assigned seat was 1B, I had no where to place my bag as all the overhead compartments were already packed. I asked the flight attendant to help me and she said, I can find a place for my bag further down the aisle. This is a complete inconvenience, as I would have to walk and hold off the de-planing while I find my bag. I have always met friendly flight attendants to assist me as I am boarding, until this one! she was so rude and not willing to help at all!"

Pros: "for a 9.5 hour flight, the seat was actually pretty comfortable. The A330 is definitely more comfortable than 767. While the food sucked on my outbound flight from atlanta to london, the food on the amsterdam to atlanta flight was pretty good. there was a lunch, a snackbox and then a hot snack before landing. There was plenty of beer to drink so that made the flight better."
Cons: "first, the entertainment system was busted. you could use the flight tracker and play games, but couldn't watch any movies or tv shows. They only told us about this 5 minutes before boarding. There was wifi so you could stream shows to a tablet, but that assumed you had a tablet and that it was charged because the usb ports on the nonfunctioning entertainment system were, you guessed it, nonfunctional. Fortunately we had charged tablets and were able to stream some shows but they kept buffering and locking up because the gogo wifi wasn't working very well. About half the flight attendants were friendly but the other half obviously didn't want to be there. The last half hour was pretty bumpy due to remants of a hurricane in the area. The person behind me was frantically looking for a barf bag but we found out that most of the seats didn't have them. So that could have been ugly. I flew delta for the skymiles but based on this trip I will either fly on their partners (virgin, klm, airfrance) for reduced mile credit, or choose a different airline."

Cons: "The flight aborted landing in Sun Valley. The reason is because the airplane you send there can only land in a 10 Kt tail wind. This is unacceptable, number one, but if you insist on using this aircraft you should at least have a shuttle available for us from the diverting airport in Twin Falls or perhaps just quit serving Haley and just serve an airport that you can land in with great regularity again this is unacceptable and will certainly mean that I think twice about using Delta in the future."

Cons: "With smaller and smaller seats this guy was 350 pounds and 6 foot 5 inch. There is/was no way he was fitting in a coach seat. The guy's shoulders came 30% into my space. We couldn't put the arm rest down between us he was so fat. I am a 60 year old man that is 5 ft 10 in and weighs 165 pounds with a slender frame. Plus, the guy had BODY ODOR and smelled horrible. It was a 100% full flight or I would have asked to be moved. Now, about two hours later after the flight, my body is sore from sitting awkward for nearly 3 hours. It's 7:39 before I'm guaranteed a make up flight because I'm told by customer service that united flies fewer flights during holidays periods despite being the busiest season of the year. United did nothing to make up for the night with family they have taken from me on vacation."

Cons: "Our flight finally landed on the 3rd try. First time, the plane came in too high. Medford is my home, so I could tell this just from the approach. Second time, there was still another plane on the runway, and the tower called us off. Multiple passes at the runway do not inspire a passenger's confidence in the ability of the pilot. Plus it tends to make one a bit nauseous!"

Even with the overall delay in DEN my SMF flight was long gone putting me on a late flight into SMF. This of course lead to a short night's rest...just another day of travel on the airlines."

Cons: "We requested an isle chair for my fiance, who is paralyzed from the waist down, as soon as we checked in at the gate 2 hours early. Not only did they not board him first, nobody was waiting with one at the gate. The crew had to call someone and we had to wait a decent amount of time for someone to arrive. At that point half of the plane had boarded and the other half got to gawk at him while they boarded as he was "strapped in." Getting him in his seat with a full flight was difficult and embarrassing for him. He's flown cross country and internationally many times, and this was a first. For this and a couple incidents regarding our trip from Milwaukee to Medford, by way of Denver, we no longer plan to fly United."

Took us less than 30 minutes from parking in shuttle parking lot to going through security to getting to our gate!"
