On top of my five days off this year and two were wasted on traveling. Big waste of time and money. Will probably not use your website or the airline again.
Pros: Disclaimer: we flew business class. Regardless, our check-in was seamless, Incheon is a beautiful and easy airport, all the flight crew were responsive and pleasant. We flew China Eastern and dealt with Shanghai airport on our flight out and I would avoid doing that again at great cost!

They left a note saying I was sleeping when they gave out meals and offered it to me even though we were about to descend. Pros: The friendliness of the Korean employees was outstanding - always had a nice smile and very courteous. My husband and I flight economy and usually when we fly long distance we will try to upgrade to comfort seating so legs aren't cramped (additional cost with Delta airlines) . With the Korean airlines the economy comfort seating was not an option but then actually not needed since the leg room was quite adequate. The blankets and other amenities for the flight were a nice touch with the blankets being very nice and cozy.
Cons: The Korean airlines line at airport in Shanghai for ticketing and handing off of luggage was way too long. We thought arriving at the airport 2 and 1/2 hours prior to flight plenty of time for checking in but had to scramble to get to flight in time. With the menu - certainly was offered enough food but would like to see a vegetarian option as to meal.

Cons: The fact that this JAL Flight was operated by Korean Air meant that not only was the staff different, the the plane itself was an older and smaller model with extremely little room and zero entertainment systems. Both of these developments were severely disappointing given that the 2 hour round trip was 440USD, and flying on a budget airline would have provided basically the same experience for much cheaper. Furthermore the flight was delayed for over an hour taking off at almost 10:00pm instead of 8:40pm. The meal service was quite disappointing as well given the long wait. This delay nearly caused me to miss the last train into the city, in which case I would have needed to take an incredibly expensive Tokyo taxi ride to my accommodation. This was avoided by luck alone, as the airport immigration lines at Haneda airport were uncharacteristically empty. All in all, it was a surprisingly frustrating experience and remarkably stressful. I have known JAL and Korean Air to both be excellent carriers and was quite disappointed to have such a poor flight experience could have been exceeded by an average Peach or Vanilla Air flight.

Pros: I flew from Tokyo to Seoul on Korea Air. I was very impressed by how comfortable the airplane was. It had the most leg room of any flight that I have taken in recent memory. The entertainment system worked well and had a number of good options for movies and TV shows in English. Korea Air served a nice lunch on the flight which was a mix of Western and Korean food.

Cons: Flight was delayed due to poor maintenance that caused issues before take off. Of course safety is important but that is why maintenance should be done routinely and prioritised accordingly. The pilot on the first delayed flight (new airplane) was clueless, his exact words "... our analysis team from midwest needs an hour to figure out whether we can fly or not" This is after we have boarded the flight. Then after about an hour of sitting in the plane, he says "rumor has it that a new plane will be towed in..." What? Why didn't they stop boarding and just get the new plane in. And I don't appreciate the emails saying flight is delayed without giving any reason for it. AA could have certainly done a better job of communicating the issue. Further the flight crew including the pilot were acting like victims. If it were an Asian carrier like Singapore Airlines, the crew would be smiling and providing assitance courteously since they represent the airlines. Not flying them again.

Cons: There were no available snacks and drinks between meals in a long international flight. In other airlines, they have continous supplies of snacks and drinks at the food area for passengers to enjoy at their leisure.

Pros: Entertainment was great. I really liked the touch screens on the chairbacks. Food was fine for airplane food. It came more than I expected. Get sandwiches over the meals, they are better quality. A vegetarian guy had a hard time but the crew tried to help him out. Comfort was ok for a 13 hour trip. The chairs are not really the best and my back hurt after a while. Make sure you stretch! Crew was nice except for one lady. But she wasent rude just... non responsive. Other members were fantastic though. Boarding was very painless.
Cons: Veggies and salads: gross - should have been blanched. Mid- flight snack was literally frozen. The meat had ice crystals!
Cons: There was a problem with the plane and we were stuck with very warm conditions for 2 hours and 40 minutes before we took flight.

Cons: 2.5-hour delay caused me to miss connection in Tokyo. Boarding took a long time. Nearly one hour for my suitcase to emerge on carousel, well after all other bags. Legroom minimum in coach. Sandwich for the snack was frozen in the middle.
Pros: Everything was great their wasn't enough clarification as to what airline I was fliying. It said Japan air on my confirmation email but it would up being through American Airlines. The experience through American was superb but I would of liked clarity on such airline I was going to fly with.
Pros: Great choices of entertainment that made the flight very enjoyable
Cons: I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it.

Cons: My outbound flight to Manila had an overnight layover in Japan. I asked at the luggage check-in at O'Hare International Airport if they can check it all the way through as I had planned to go outside of the Narita airport for the layover. They told me I couldn't check the luggage all the way through and that I had to pick it up from baggage claim once I land in Narita. From there I had to check-in the luggage again on the same day. When I took my luggage out from baggage claim, I tried to check-in and the counter crew told me I was given wrong information. I had to keep my luggage with me until my flight the following day. On my return flight from Manila and another overnight layover in Narita, the check-in crew at NAIA told me I could check-in my luggage all the way through, and that they also allowed this at my outbound flight to Manila. The check-in crew at O'Hare International Airport gave me wrong information.
Pros: They passed out headphones for the entertainment early in the flight. The meal service was efficient and more than adequate. The fight also arrived 30 minutes early.

Cons: Where to start? How about when I checked in at the counter, I asked the check in attendant to add my FF number on my ticket. They said they'll get right to it, handed me my tickets and sent me on my way. It never happened. Not a big deal, I can request the mileage post flight, but still something. Look at my tickets, that I had booked a week in advance and specifically reserved an aisle seat. My ticket says "Priority Verification," whatever that means. Turns out it means you don't have a seat, and you get the worst of the worst. So what seat is the worst? How about the middle seat in a row of 5. The middle in a row of 5, on a transoceanic flight... What kind of airlines has 5 in a row? The guy next to me spent $300 for his ticket, I spent $1200, for the same flight, and this is the kind of seat I get? The plane felt like it was straight out of the 90's, carpeted center walls, old seats, tiny tv's. Overall, a plane that felt had not been updated in decades. Took 20 minutes for a flight attendant to respond to the flight attendant sign. This wasn't during beverage or food service, just a normal time at cruising altitude. They also don't have eye masks. Every other transoceanic flight I've been on has them provided in the seat pocket, American Airlines doesn't even have them on the plane! Economy class has no USB or power outlets, the in flight entertainment is about a 5" screen in probably 260p resolution. Decent selection of movies, but you have to join the movie in progress or wait approx 10 minutes for the next movie to start. Legroom was okay unless you had one of the entertainment boxes in your way, then that takes up 30% of your space. Some of the tray tables do not have cup holders, on the top, bottom, or anywhere on it. Also my table was tilted, so every time I put a cup on it, it slid right off. Seems like a minor complaint, but eating dinner and fighting a sliding cup the whole time is a pain. Dinner and breakfast tasted decent, but you can tell American is cheap on the food. Most airlines will give something like a main course, a bread roll, fruit cup/salad, juice, small dessert. American gives you the main course and a fruit cup and that is all. Crappy utensils too. Overall, if I had paid maybe $200 for the flight, I wouldn't have any room to complain, but because American holds the government carrier contract for FY17, I had to fly on them at exorbitant cost, and would never recommend them to anyone.

Pros: It was a very peaceful flight. The crew was extremely professional, and courteous, one of the members went out of her way, and frankly it was the kindest flight attendant has been to me in a while.

Pros: the flight from JKT to Tokyo to Newark was good, entertainment was good, food was good, crew was good.
Cons: THE flight from Newark to Montreal was HORRIBLE! the flight was delayed and when we boarded, we were stranded on the taxiways for 2,5 hours. After 20 hours of flying, and you know your last flight was just another hour, I ended up arriving Montreal at 12.30 AM when it should've been 9 PM

Pros: The air craft seems kinda new and I enjoy staying at my seat watching movies. Generally speaking UA is not great service of all kinds of categories( service, food, and baggage service), but this time wasn’t that bad than I used before.

Pros: For a little over $2000 you get an economy seat non-stop from DC to Tokyo and back. Meals were good. As economy seats go, it's comfortable. Midweek the flight is about half to two thirds full. So you might be able to stretch out even!

Cons: I bought a ticket for ANA but my flight was United. It was ok but I payed extra to get flight with ANA so I was disappointed a bit.
Pros: I always feel merely "tired" after the Denver-Tokyo flight on UA's 787 Dreamliner. On all other aircraft, I always feel "exhausted" after an intercontinental flight. The increased humidity and pressure make an incredible difference. As usual, I paid a ~$300 premium to take this flight (HKG-NRT-DEN and back) rather than cheaper HKG-SFO-DEN or HKG-SEA-DEN routings, which feature 777 or A330 aircraft.
Cons: As long as you don't expect the level of service you would receive on an Asian carrier, United is fine. As usual, United's cabin crew are simply not generally gentle and welcoming. They get their jobs done, and I feel safe with them, but I don't look forward to interacting with them. I wish ANA would operate NRT-DEN!!!

Cons: Hello I would like to submit a formal complaint. I could not complete early check in yesterday due to website maintenance. I arrived to the LAX airport on time today and due the misdirection of the ticket attendant I wasn’t able to select a seat, which I tried to do online approx 24 hours ahead of time but the site was not working or down. I’m a larger person with spinal impairments and unfortunately I was given a middle seat. This will undoubtedly cause significant pain during and after this long flight. I’m very displeased with this and I would like to request a credit or like compensation for my trouble and suffering. Advance thanks for your understanding.

Pros: Flight attendants were very pleasant and helpful. Food selections were very good. Lavatories were well maintained throughout the 14-hour flight, which is very much appreciated.

Cons: The food was so so - I left very hungry (which is not so good for a diabetic). One of the toilets overflowed and soaked the carpeting by the bathrooms. There was an out of order sign on the door - but no sign indicating the rug was soaked. I left my shoes by my seat - had to throw my socks away. Movies & entertainment was mediocre.
Pros: Arrived early. Nice that no weight restriction on carry-on baggage. Too large a fraction of passengers in Boarding Group 4.
Cons: Size restriction on personal item was smaller than other airlines, causing me to use a smaller backpack than I would have preferred. The entertainment screen was not very nice: hard to move cursor arrow to buttons and to press; no evident way to increase brightness.

Pros: I got upgraded from Economy to Economy Plus without being charged a dime more. And the difference between the two classes is very noticeable! The Economy Plus seats may have an extra 3" per side and it's awesome! Plus, United partnered up with ANA for my first leg to Manila and that plane was spectacular, as was the top-notch crew!

Cons: one of the crew members was so rude to me, confusing me and changed my seat three times in less than 15min... I also had a bite of the pancake and I instantly threw it up. There was also a very long delay and my chair would not lean back for 10+hrs. The first seat I sat on did not have a working earphone plug and the next seat I was scolded for being moved there EVEN THOUGH A CREW MEMBER SEATED ME THERE. I then proceeded to change to another seat.
Pros: Large selection of movies to keep me entertained throughout a 13 hour flight.

Cons: The plane was not comfortable at all for an International flight. United should invest in bigger planes for flights over 6 hours. I could hardly sleep since the seats were so uncomfortable. Further, I was unable to get up and move around as much as I had on other international flights. There was no room on this plane to walk around and stretch. The food was mediocre. Quantas, Air China and Japan Airlines have much better meals.
Pros: I liked the power outlets that were available, as well as the USB! I have trouble sleeping on flights, but the great options for the in flight entertainment made it more than bearable. I will always choose to fly United now.
