Cons: "The fact I didn't even make it to my destination. Not one person working for Air Canada gave me the impression they knew what was going on. They certainly didn't apologize for ruining my vacation and they did not try to do a single thing to help us make our flight or make the disappointment of missing it any better."

Pros: "Very little. The staff is polite but they have no information and really are not empowered they solve any problems"
Cons: "The flight was delayed over an hour taking off due to final checks and luggage. In sprite of the pilot announcing smooth sky’s we had terbulence and seatbelts on for 60% of the flight. And when we arrived the luggage of at least 15 passengers, including mine, did not arrive. After waiting 45 minutes at the carousel for the luggage and another 35 at the priority desk I was informed that the luggage was not coming on the next flight but the next day. They apparently had run out of overnight bags so I had to buy a toothbrush and a t-shirt at the airport to sleep in. Now normally I would pack a carry on with the basic essentials for such a situation but this was a direct fight with 3 follow flights to the same destination..... I have no idea who votes for Air Canada or how many votes it takes to win the awards they keep claiming but there is something wrong..."

Cons: "The food. Skip the cup of noodles."

Pros: "Surprise.....on time , have luggage, fabulous crew, large aircraft."
Cons: "That this has not been MY past experience."

Pros: "The crew helped assist me with my mom... she was in a wheelchair and I had our carry on bags. The flight attendants were very nice"
Cons: "The entertainment was very old..... old movies, old shows, I just slept and listened to my own music."

Cons: "Entertainment options are old. Food in unaccomodating for Vegetarians."

Pros: "Seat was comfortable, leg room adequate. Crew helpful."
Cons: "The young child that screamed for the first two hours of the flight. The man in the seat behind me that coughed loudly constantly for 5.5 hours. No sleep on an overnight flight. Gluten free options not available for me and my wife. We tried to book these before the flight but we're not allowed access for this. Flight entertainment system froze and had to be reset, resulting in blank screens for the first 30 minutes or so."

Pros: "Due to late arrival of earlier flight employees were on hand to personally assist with our boarding. Plenty of liquids offered to keep hydrated. Lactose free meal had plenty of fresh fruit. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. On time flight made further connection easy."
Cons: "Bathrooms tend to get very dirty with the over use on longer flights. The bathrooms need the occasional inflight cleaning."

Pros: "Friendly crew and clean aircraft. Typical airplane food and free-for-all boarding process."
Cons: "No TV on plane for a 9 hour flight. No one wants to watch entire movies on their phone. Not comfortable. Seats are cramped and could feel the knees of the passenger behind me pressing into my back for 9 hours."

Pros: "Calgary airport first and foremost went above and beyond for me. The flight then after was the same, friendly attendants, great smooth flight. 5 stars for staff."
Cons: "The headphones are bad, i had my own headphones so it was fine. I did go w the air canada ones first just out of convenience, but they were fuzzy, probably would have ruined the movies."

Pros: "Comfort, decent entertainment selection, crew was pleasant and professional, boarding was smooth"

Cons: "Our flight was turned around after we had gotten to Toronto. They claimed that they had shut down the airport due to bad weather. They took us back to Montreal where we sat in on the tarmac for two hours. They said that there was a second storm Coming through Toronto and that the airport was shutdown again. They then canceled our flight. After standing in line for three hours at customer service they told me they couldn't get me on another flight until tomorrow night and ariving at my destination two days later. The coustomer service rep then told me to just go ahead and call the customer service number because she couldn't help me. They said they wouldn't pay for any accommodations because it was weather related. The issue with their argument is that only one other flight was canceled into Toronto. Air Canada actually had several more flights that day that that landed in Toronto after they told us the airport was closed. The customer service was embarrassing. They had us wait for over three hours to be helped and there were four desk which at most times they only had two people working. Many times there was only one person. The entire thing was pathetic."

Cons: "Going through 6 stages of security!!!! I understand to be safe, but good grief! I bought a bottle of liquor in the duty free at the Budapest airport thinking doing it this way I would not get harassed. Wrong!!! They freaked out and held us up even longer! We almost missed our last flight because of all the security steps we had to go through!!! And so did many other people. It's a ridiculous system, it should all be done at once with only having to stay in the long line ONCE! And to scan our own passports and waiting to see our name on some board to be able to leave that particular room just to be met with even longer lines afterwards is insane. I am not a tech savvy person, as I am sure a lot of others are not either, and I got barely any help to show me how the heck to do all of that! Unacceptable!! And to top everything off, an item was stolen out of my daughter's suitcase somewhere along the way!! Replacing it cost me about $40!!!"

Pros: "NIGHTMARE! We were not able to travel due to my wife's illness the nite before we were to depart."
Cons: "I didn't like that Air Canada didn't give us a voucher to use within the next year due to the illness. She has had tests since we have been home and her doctor told us we made a good decision not to travel. She documented that for us as well. She wrote a note to help us recover our air fee or at least get a voucher...hoping they will change their mind."

Cons: "We were crammed in with no room to move. no way to get comfortable. Seats not comfortable. Very tight space and not pleasant."

Pros: "The entertainment and food was decent. The flight attendants were very nice and patient."
Cons: "It's disappointing that just because I'm in economy I have to be uncomfortable during a 12+ hr flight."

Cons: "There was a build-up of delays for domestic flights, namely from Toronto to Edmonton, Ottawa and Calgary (the ones I heard). I was on the Toronto to Calgary flight, which was supposedly delayed from 16:45 till 18:55 EST, but the actual boarding time was closer to 19:45 EST. Once all the passengers were boarded, the crew informed us that the pilot was missing. Another 20 minutes went by before he was located, at which point we were informed that the first mate was missing as well. By the time the pilot and first mate were both on the aircraft, it took another 30 minutes for them to get the aircraft ready. My flight from Toronto to Calgary was supposed to arrive at 19:40 MDT, the actual arrival time was 23:00 MDT. As a passenger, I am annoyed to say the least."

Cons: "- plane was overbooked, and boarding took a while - staff only offered drink refreshments (ex. coke, coffee, etc) once, rather than the usual twice. The other time they just came by with water, which the flight attendant accidentally over-poured and spilled some on the middle passenger between me and the attendant. Good thing it was only water... - more turbulence than usual, but out of the control of the pilot"

Cons: "The gate agent would not let me pay a fee to take an earlier flight. He was rather rude and not helpful. Air Canada apologized for his mistake, but the gate agent was shockingly unhelpful and aggressive."

Cons: "There was no complimentary checked luggage. Not impressed because usually this is only done by the cheap budget airlines not a national airline."

Cons: "Everything else was awful....I was taking an international flights, so arrived at the airport 3 hours early, as specified. There was no attendant at the desk until 1.45 hours prior to boarding. We almost missed the flight, and as a result, the connection to London. If possible, I will not fly air Canada again"

Pros: "Other than the rude employee in Vancouver's ticket and baggage counter, I'd fly Air Canada all the time if I could. SO much better than any of the other commercial airlines."
Cons: "We had a 10 hour layover in Vancouver, which would have been fine except that we had to get our luggage and recheck it the following morning. This left us outside of security, unable to go anywhere to rest. No one expects to be comfortable when you spend the night in the airport, but this was worse. No where to sleep, no decent chairs to rest in. We weren't sure why, since our connecting flight to Seoul South Korea was also Air Canada, our luggage had to be picked up at baggage claim, held on until the following morning, then rechecked. The clerks at the Air Canada ticket and baggage counter were supposed to be opened at 9, but an incredibly rude employee snapped at me that he didn't have time to talk to me, that I'd just need to wait until 9:30 when they opened."

Pros: "From the comfort of the seats to the movies to the great tasting food, there isn't anything they could have done to make my flight any better. Thank you Air Canada."

Pros: "I was changed to a new flight which gabe me 5 minutes to nake my conn cting flight! So they then changed me to an earlier fliight. In order to get there, I had to rush to the airport in an expensive taxi instead of by public transport as I had planned. Then on arrival, my bag did not arrive!"

Cons: "Flight delayed due to plane defect. Stayed in plane for more than 5 hours. Baggage lost. Never made it on time"

Pros: "Flight attendants were great, very nice, professional, accommodating. I woke up in the middle of the night and they politely gave me a glass of water, good food and drink service. I was so tired, I chose not to eat the dinner, so I can't speak to that, but the breakfast was juice, coffee and a slice of banana bread which was very good. Pilot was great, easy flight, easy landing. No complaints!"

Pros: "The crew had a problem passenger in first class (I was sitting a few rows back on the other side of the curtain. I noticed that the flight attendant was quickly dealing with something in front but kept her calm and didn't disrupt the overall experience of the passengers. When we landed the police boarded and arrested the man. The people around me didn't even notice anything was going on. I congratulate the Air Canada crew for keeping their cool and they obviously get good training to help them out in these situations."
