There was an hour delay before we boarded, followed by a “technical issue” when we pulled away from the gate which resulted in us having to go back to the gate to test an engine and then because our departure was so late (about 3 1/2 hours behind schedule at this point), we had to take a different (longer) route to get back to Canada, so, the whole trip took about 17 hours door to door. The crew did their best to manage the delay with a very full flight, so, kudos to them but it did make for a fairly stressful end of my trip as I was trying to figure out how to get home on board when I realised that there was an engine problem and we might be deplaned.

Good food. Comfortable. Affordable. Number one for europe to Tampa now.
Tired aircraft, appalling food, entertainment systems that didn't work, and delays. My last time with Swiss/Edelweiss
Motivated crew on dated but well kept equipment (A340). Seats with more leg room are a life saver

All the flight to USA were arranged to E terminal whereas from Dubrovnik arriving on Zurich is on A80, have to walk all the way from A to E, even need transfer bus , for short transfer time like in an hour, we have to work fast, as soon as arrived at E, it is about time to boarding, pretty tight schedule, I hope Zurich airport can make some rearrangement so that transfer people do not have to walk long way. For short transfer time people, such as 50 min, this is even impossible if still like this.
...as stated previously, red tape should be shorted by Swiss in terms of generating refunds...
They didn't give us Nothing to eat, come on..... 1 package of chips and a glass of soda won't do anything to the company
I haven't flown Swiss in a long time. I was disappointed that after paying $14,907 for 3 business class seats, we still had to pay another $200 for a single business class seat. All the window seats used to be single seats. Now it's every other one and if you want a single seat it's extra. Also, The double seats do not have pods or any privacy. We landed in Chicago after a long 10 hour flight and our connecting flight was on United. Because we do not have status on Swiss, we were not allowed to use the United lounge, even with business class seats. My father is on crutches and we had a 4 hour layover. No lounge was also disappointing. All of my status is on British Airways so I will go back to flying BA. We flew Swiss because my father did not want to go through Heathrow. On a positive, the crew were super nice and accommodating for my father who had recently had hip replacement surgery. Food was okay. I"m not a good person to critique the food, I never like airplane food.
-Swiss airlines online check in app crashed multiple times -Zurich airport does not have very many bathrooms accessible to people with disabilities - closest disability accessible bathroom to departure gate was 1/4 mile away.
I took this flight to be able to fly with Swiss instead of Air Canada from Geneva.. The AC planes have a better outfit in Business class than Swiss, but the service aboard Swiss is really best, first-class, as is the food and beverages. Though using the same plane model (A330-300), the interior setup of the cabin starts to show its age, but IMO the planes are better serviced by Swiss than AC. I had in my recent trips with AC way too many technical problems that led to delays or even complete cancellation of my flight.. Their fleet is aging (average 20+ years) and the maintenance has taken a toll compared to years ago. Cutting costs in every corner has to be paid sometime by someone, and it's the travelers at the end that pays for it. Unfortunately for me, flying directly to Zurich puts a much longer after-fly trip on me than Geneva.. so I might go back to direct flight YUL-GVA, even if I don't like flying with AC.
