Excellent service. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful. Excellent location, so close to all amenities. Nice and spacious room. Relaxing lounge and bar. The quality of bathroom stuff such as shampoo, conditioner and soap (gel) and the spa not cleaned after use.
Swift check in, pleasant staff and the room was very comfortable. The hotel is central to shopping and we enjoyed our stay. I think parking for hotel guests should be included in the price of the room,
We were upgraded to a loft suite which was spacious and excellent location on top floor with good views towards the Grange coastline. Hotel was very good quality throughout. Bar snacks very good. Excellent location, friendly and very helpful staff. Valet car parking was very efficient and reasonable price. Highly recommend this hotel. Could not find a fault.
Front Desk customer service was excellent as was the Bar & Restaurant service
The room was a very reasonable size and very clean. It was central to all that we needed. Public transport, shopping, eateries.
It is convenient to move around, the tram is just cross the road, within walking distances in town, it is quiet.
Excellent service from duty managers and concierge, cleanliness of rooms, excelelnt breakfast. Mattress on the bed was not too firm.
We were upgraded, the comfort of the room and the location Though we were upgraded the outlook of the room was terrible, i.e. a carpark and another building very close.
Once I found the place, my wife & I were overwhelmed by hospitality & product on offer everything was exceptional - only hard to find place
Ornate details, great service Only one chair in room
The room was bigger than expected, the whole hotel was extremely well maintained than other hotels I have stayed at. All the staff were polite and welcoming. The parking was right across the road from the hotel and the room service food was delicious :) The only bad point was when we tried to purchase a movie on the tv and all we got was a black fuzzy screen. We reported it but the problem was unable to be fixed. Obviously a technical problem and can't be helped.
Its facilities and location. The wait to get my car from carpark, but no big deal.
Excellent service. The staff at the hotel were the best I have come across in comparison to most hotels. They were extremely helpful, courteous and polite, especially Amir the front office executive (forgot his designation). Our room had a broken faucet, which seemed to have escaped everyones' attention. Whilst clean, the room, rather the bathroom, still had a old, musty unpleasant odour to it.
room service was great, a little overpriced as anyone would expect, the room itself was fantastic, didnt really leave the room for anything there were no bathrobes in the room when we checked in, but were brought up quickly when called, the bed was a bit uncomfortable, the springs stuck into my back,
The pillows were very comfortable and the lighting was relaxing My booking on booking.com could not be found and I was tired and hungry and had to wait for 1/2hr to get into my room
the facilities were easy to access and had a reception for cars. the room was certainly clean. The room had very poor mini bar for late night check in. the basin taps were broken, the shower flexy hose was split, the spa was too small, the spa taps were broken.
The view from the 17th floor was excellent. Worthwhile upgrading to the higher floors for this reason.
The bar layout and arrangement and the news papers and business news in the morning. being able to have that early morning coffee without having to have breakfast.
The comfortable bed. I didnt make use of the facilities the Hotel had as I was busy with business and shopping. Just used the room to sleep in. I have stayed there on previous visits and had the breakfast and utilised the gym and downstairs dining. Very good.
The quality of hotel itself was great - rooms large - bathroom large and very tastefully appointed. Good bed - well chosen fittings and fixtures. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. My main concern was with housekeeping which was inconstistent.
I stayed in one of the suites which was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and it was a pleasure to stay at the Rendezvous.
we could book a twin bed room (rather than double/king) and this was great as two friends sharing, staff were very friendly, rooms were ok bed extremely soft, hindley street has a lot of strip clubs very close to the hotel
I was very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I go overseas a lot and your staff have to be one of the best I have stayed with.....thankyou. The King size bed was not comfortable at all. It was too soft and had NO support.
The staff were cheerful. The health gym was decent and had a nice view overlooking the water. Facilities and rooms look aged. Buffet breakfast was below average. I'm not sure the scrambled eggs are real eggs--seems from a mix...taste like the mush I imagine being served onboard the ship in the Matrix when Neo leaves the augmented reality.
great being in the heart of the city close to the function I was attending. Very comfortable bed. Not a particularly good view from our window.
very friendly service
All Staff were friendly and helpfull Thought night dining was a bit restricted in choises of food
I found the waiting staff very friendly - (not impersonal and trying to be the person in the background, if you know what I mean. some waiting people deliberatly don't interact with the customers, which is sometimes very off putting) No, we stay here often, We always get good service.
The food was not nice at all - both dinne and the buffet breakfast. The carparking on the internet was specified as $12 per day yet we were charged $18 but there was no advice on the internet of the difference in charging for valet parking. No attempt was made by the staff to rectif that situation so for the difference of $6 and the non-help in this situation we will not consider staying here again nor recommend this to friends and work colleagues.
Have stayed here for 12 odd years through different ownerships....clean, excellent location, feel at home and friendly staff although a lot of the long term employees have moved on. Charge for self parking
staff very friendly. room is exactly the same as it was on the picture. value for money. ice cubes not refilled. service for check out called on our door to check minibar and bathroom at 8am when were not due to leave untill 11am.
Very nice staff. Friendly and accommodating. Nice clean rooms. Conveniently located.
Quiet, clean, large room, central, good hot water/shower Bathroom getting tired. Mattress too soft.
the reception staff were very accomaditing but couldnt fix the hot water in my room .very disappointing..there was no hot water for the duration of my stay...
The staff were really friendly and patient.
Conveniently located, great staff, good food, great concierge. booked a room for city views, did not get it,as we stared at cement walls outside.
Excellent location. The workers at the concierge desk were wonderful -helpful and friendly Room full of cigarette/cigar smoke the second night. Coming through the vent in the bathroom.
The location and amenities were great - always love this hotel It was all very good
Central to the city, did not have to travel out of our way to other destinations. Staff were very friendly and warm will definantly think of staying there again some items were not in the mini bar but were listed as being in fridge
Proximity to City Centre but far enough away from it not to feel claustrophobic. Room with a view. Rather cool Reception which dragged "Hotel staff" above down from "Excellent" to "Good".
the ease to get around town location
the Thai concierge was great he deserves a pat on the back
View and proximity to city shops. expensive
all in point 1 that i ticked
The staff were generous enough to upgrade our room to a suite when they heard that it was our 20th wedding anniversary and we were returning to our honeymoon hotel. The kids also enjoyed our stay - and the kids menu at the restaurant was great. It's definitely a "Special Occasion" hotel as the prices would prevent most people from staying every day. It was the perfect luxury weekend to celebrate our 20th anniversary.
ease of arrival and valet parking at a reasonable price. Proximity to transport, taxis etc. helpful staff. Only one thing annoyed me and this was the bed covers were too thick so I was either too hot or no covers too cold.
Door Man & receiption are very helpful. No smoking area in the hotel.
Impressed with the size and comfort of the room and the view. Meals very expensive
Professionalism of the staff and the presentation of the hotel and our room
It was a very convenient location as we went to the Cabaret Festival. very helpful staff, the room was very comfortable and clean, the foyer gave a sense of luxury and cleanliness on first entrance and excellent restaurants and piano bar.
The location was very convenient. The decor was a bit shabby. There was a dirty mark on the blanket which made my skin crawl, there was one, hard pillow each with no extras. The furniture was dirty. I would probably not go there again.
Big and comfortable rooms. Central location
We had a lovely weekend getaway in Adelaide at a very reasonable price. We found the counter staff very helpful and friendly and will certainly be back again.
It was convenient for a one night stay in Adelaide city Centre it was souless and begining to be tired from a decorative perspective. Bathroom old-fashioned in today's terms.
The king size bed was good, very comfortable and good sheeting made it also nice. I found the directions for after-hours entry did not work. We tried the side door but our key didn't open the door. Had to use the front door buzzer.
internet was so slow that it was not functional
Food was excellent. room service was excellent. Pool and spa were very clean and well maintained Electric kettle unable to be filled under the sink tap. this seems to be usual for most hotels. Not an insurmountable problem.
The location and room size. Seems a bit tired and run down compared to previous stays here.
The hotel was very convenient, clean and comfortable. The reception staff who worked very long hours was very pleasant but not as up to date with tourist information as I would have expected but tried to help us. The car parking was a bit tedious getting in and out of on the weekend.
central location noisy water pipes, staff unhelpful in solving problem of sleepless nights as a result of these waterpipes
My husband has a mobility scooter and the reception staff were marvellous, making sure he got in and out of the quite narrow mobility door in the hotel. Some of the furniture in the hotel could do with a refurbishment.
close to where were going that Saturday night very small bathroom
The location was excellent. One receptionist in particular, Kim, was very helpful with directions and when my husband left his coat in a restaurant. Hotel on the edge of the 'red light' district and street was inclined to be noisy at night. Housekeeping in the room was erratic. Did not supply the plunge coffee on last night and reception was closed.
concrete walls for views-quite stiffling!
Would have been good to have help with the luggage from the car to the room based on the price
closeness to city centre Noise from the street below on Friday and Saturday nights. It would be lessened if the window from the street to the balcony was repaired
The apartment was very clean, and spacious. The satff were very friendly.
The apartment was well appointed, recently refurbished and in a convenient location in the heart of Adelaide. The room was dark and a little sterile.
Staff were very helpful;the hotel was in a very convenient location for shopping, and seeing the city CBD.The restaraunt was great. I was a little taken aback by the limited parking facilities, that had to be booked at the time of booking the room. There was no vacancies when we got there, and had to park in a public carpark.
Please write at least 15 words
pool the bed had two mattresses pushed together and it was uncomfortable
Service was great Rooms are noisy. Room next to cleaners station woke me up at 6am.Service was great and I got moved and could here the rabbits next door all night!! Definitely need to sound proof the rooms better.
Clean big room. Big bed. Good breakfast. for sure a good hotel for young people to stay for a city trip. It's very close to the going out area of Adelaide. you can hear the music from outside on Friday / Saturday night. It feels a little dodgy if you walk alone back to the hotel in the middle of the night between all the drunken people..
The room size was fine The cost of a beer was 'over the top'. I didn't have breakfast there, after I heard the cost. Other hotels don't charge that sort of price for breakfast.
I found the staff very accommodating and helpful and the beds were extremely comfortable, which is often unusual in a hotel! Didn't like the location on a Saturday night - we found that Hindley Street changed on this night of the week and it was a bit sleazy. The thump thump of music from nearby nightclubs was annoying - but it might have been less noticeable if we'd been in a room on a higher floor.
Good hotel. Charged internet.
The key card only allowed the floor people access this was good. The amenities were all clean with good hot water.
Your reception staff were excellent in their service. Your downstairs lobby is very inviting & tastefully decorated but unfortunately does not flow through - so I have to say deceiving. Carpets on the 1st floor and overall cleanliness. The "slap dash" breakfast with the burnt croissants....
The location is very convenient and the room (334) was good value for the rate. Rate higher than quoted on the inernet booking service. No reason to use cleaning products with any perfume - the smell of carpet shampoo or some other cleaner was far too strong in an otherwise good room. Loud low-brow FM station with inane talk and retail advertising at breakfast is completely wrong.
Location The loud music from the bar
accommodation, room, staff, food nothing in regards to the hotel or its staff
staff always on hand to help. room excellently serviced
Central location. Misleading description of facilities, comfort, quietness and quality of room furniture and fittings
It served as a functional well-placed venue for the conference I was attending. Breakfast facilities/service were very good. Nothing applicable
I attended 'the first table' (a bi-monthly dinner party, organized by the Hotel) food, wine & and staff were excellent
The Hotel is in a great location, walking around the CBD was a breeze and the tram stop wasn't far away. All good.
A small and too old room
Ordered a Club Sandwich and it was delivered with an unwashed cover. (Had drops of tea around the rim)
The first hotel room was a budget booking and really quite poor - not very pleasant and right on the lane with a disco blaring. Rang reception and advised we needed sleep and to change rooms and ultimately got a room away from the noise and was quite satified with the quality (was upgraded thankfully) and cleanliness. The staff was extremely helpful in accomodating our request. Parking is atrocious - very cramped and not enough for the hotel guests - ended up parking at Convention centre with the cost being added to our account.
Very comfortable. Great price for the location. None.
good taxi calling service too much noise at night time due to the night club at the back of the room, poor views of building closeby (the building at the back looked very crippled), poor untidy paint in the room , not convenient to drag 2 bags from the lift down 2 cases of stairs along the way to the room, too loud noise of the refrigerator working , there were someone knocking at the door twice, but no door eye to watch out...didn't feel safe to stay alone...
The rooms are best described as "Block A in Alcatraz", I have stayed at some Japanese hotels for japanese guests with more room.
It is a good hotel in general. Restaurant is nice and near from convention center. Just one difficulty may be the narrowness of the corridor. It is impossible to improve. I feel it is lower four star. Thank you. Nothing.
The room size was good but we did pay extra for that. There was mould in the bathroom, the coffee machine at breakfast was very poor. The room was not what I would call deluxe which is what we were paying $260 per night for. And chargeing extra for parking is also poor with the price of the room.
Convienence, pokey room
They got a cab to the airport immediately when we went down at 6am. It was the smallest room I've ever stayed in and the price was not small.
Excellent knowledgeable and helpful staff, great location in the heart of the CBD, very convenient amenities (kitchen, game room, internet in lobby). Much quieter than expected, and saw numerous families (with young-adult kids, no small ones) there similar to ours. Dated and worn facilities but very clean and well maintained. Reminded me nostalgically of my college days. Great deal for the price, and would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others. The self-cook breakfast deals at the front desk are a big help to travelers on a budget. Aircon was a bit challenged by hot days, but still was adequate. The family room had the potential to be a bit tight for 4 adults (including 3 women) with a week's worth of gear, but everyone kept their kit consolidated and we made it thru just fine.
