Pros:Nothing, I wasted my time in reserving a vehicle in Munich. I was promised a large nine passenger van via the kayak site. When I called a few days before my trip I was told I had a five passenger van reserved by Alamo.

When I called a few days before my trip I was told I had a five passenger van reserved by Alamo.I canceled my reservation because I could not reach an agent by telephone. Wake up. Don’t promise something you can’t deliver
Pros:The lady at the counter was extremely patient and helpful

Arrived at the pickup location to then be told that the car we had booked was not available. Received a car after waiting 90 minutes, and was told it was an upgrade from the car we had booked. The car we received displayed a warning message that service was overdue by 3000km and that the engine oil needed to be changed. Will not book with Alamo again.
Pros:This must have been the most impressive charm offensive of any car rental company I have ever witnessed, pick up and drop off were coreographed like a visit to a luxury hotel holiday.
Cons:All very good but the brand mix up, pick up at Alamo's but all else hosted by the Holding company Enterprise Cars, was somewhat confusing...

Cons:An arrangement where a vignette could be paid for upfront negating the need to stop enroute
Cons:Stated that car fit 7 persons, 4 bags. With 4 people in the car, we could only fit one suitcase.
