Proximity to Disneyland, and it's a good deal for the rate.
Nothing bad to say. Pool was somewhat small, but we didn't really use it since we were at Disbeyland so much.
The lobby smelled nice. Ok beds. Easy walk to disney.
Air conditioning rumbled like an old washing machine trying to escape. Unfinished hole repairs in the walls. Room had a dirty feel to it.
I loved the location of this hotel. It is a 10 minute walk to Disneyland. Rooms were decent sizes.
We checked in late and there was no parking so we had to valet our car. The valet was rude and very short with us. I had to be the first one to say hello. He gave me a ticket and went away with my car. Was very rude. Not sure if it is through a different company but this gentleman was sour.
Short walk to Disneyland. Less than $100 per night through Kayak.com. Friendly staff. Room was clean and had a large window and balcony overlooking the parking lot.
Thin walls/door & limited parking. Arrive early to self park, or use the complementary valet, then walk or take the Anaheim bus to Disneyland. Regardless, the pros outweigh the cons at Portofino.
Great deal through Kayak! Hotel was 3/5 but prime location! CVS is the next building over, walking distance to disney parking, staff was very friendly, beds are comfortable, and nice balcony for quiet time! Hotel quality is important to me, even though you really only sleep and shower in it! But it makes the vacation if you ask me and I have no complaints about this hotel! Annual passholder for Disneyland so we go all the time and stay in various locations, this was one of my top stays! Thank you Kayak.com
Well tiny complaint was this buzzing noise in our room 1229, it did bug me a little but not enough to mention it to staff i got used to it after the first night. Oh parking was a disaster but valet parking staff was great!
The rate was great and the room was very nice
The toilet backed up so we couldn't flush until someone came in the morning because nobody was on duty at night
I did not like that we had two cars and were only allowed to park one car and left to figure out where to park the other car.
Loved the bed so comfy
My room 1303 was run down no microwave . The restroom door would not shut.
If you're coming to Disneyland and want to park the car or your flying in, this is the place. Close to Disney, near restaurant options and affordable.i know your worried about picking the right hotel sight unseen, with this one no worries
Excelent staff, location, room is great and clean. Shower is perfection
Didn't have breakfast
The room layout with the kids suite and bunk bed A plus. Walking distance to disneyland and you could purchase shuttle transport if needed. Family enjoyed the whole trip!!! Dianne at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. Also, housekeeping were friendly and helped show us how to use our card to get into our rooms! Great stay!!
The bad.... The bunk bed sheets looked dirty and it looked like some ash was on the sheets. The pull out couch was uncomfortable. At night the staff was lacking when called the front desk stating they only had one housekeeper at night making rounds. Poor guy. We're very understanding but it took two hours for extra pillows and blankets to arrive. They also charged me an extra $30 which I still need to debate that with the hotel. Otherwise it was sufficient and the kids really enjoyed their own bunk bed suite. It's defiantly and upgraded style motel. Oh and parking sucked. Maintenance we're working in the parking lot making it loud and paint fume smells.
The location to disneyland was fantastic. We stayed in a kids suite and it was great for the price. We loved it!
The location was good and the staff was nice but the property was not what we expected. The description of the rooms was that they were recently updated but that is not true. The bathroom was awful and moldy. There was no ventilation so the wallpaper in the bathroom was wet and nasty. The heating/cooling did not work properly so we were either cold or sweating. The carpeting was very dirty and overall the rooms not well maintained.
Large space and value for what we needed. Extremely clean and staff did a good job
The family suite was large but a more sound proof door between the kids ro would have been nice since we had a small baby with us.
The bunk beds for the kids are unique and fun.
The pool is tiny, not that clean, chairs are in poor condition and they are always out of towels. For a family hotel, the pool is highly unsatisfactory.
The facility was clean and an affordable price for its distance to Disneyland.
The website states it's two blocks from Disneyland , we had to drive unless we were up to a 30 min + walk.
