Pros. Nice hotel, friendly staff, not too far to walk to anywhere
Cons. Executive lounge very crowded with not enough staff - not worth booking an exec room
Pros. I've had so many great memories here. I prefer this hotel to the Cook as the rooms are slightly larger and the decor doesn't make liberal Alaskans uncomfortable.
Cons. The rooms are smaller than the hotels in midtown, and the restaurant in the hotel are not as interesting as the other downtown restaurants.
Pros. The staff was very helpful. We are Gold members and since the Lounge is now closed on the weekend, we were given a voucher for a free continental breakfast in their restaurant. We were given late checkout, which we needed because we had a late flight from Anchorage.
Cons. We didn't like that the Lounge was closed on the weekend. It was also a little pricey. They don't have a shuttle from the airport, although it seemed that many other hotels did.
Pros. The staff was particularly helpful in getting dinner reservations and if you need it ask at the front desk to borrow an umbrella.
