The rooms were lovely and so was the food. The room was really hot and stuffy even with the window open, we tried the climate control with the window closed but it didn't make a difference.
The comfort. The location, the facilities. Did not like the restaurant. No gluten-free options displayed on the menu.
The staff were friendly, the rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean, and it was excellent value.
comfortable beds and swimming pool facility
very good bedrooms, very comfortable bed, good leisure centre, easy to get to. No bath, pressure in shower could have been better.
Was at a wedding. Very courteous staff, a very comfortable room and delicious food. Magnificent view also
Nice Friendly greeting, good food, good prices
Most comfortable bed I have ever slept and I stay in a lot of hotels.
spanking brand new hotel, absloutely great pool, sauna, steam room - amazing gym full of latest equipment - all included in the price - huge comfortable beds - good restaurant unfotunately the room temperature was unbearably high and air con controls did not work however the manager apolgised next day and gave a 30% discount
Lovely hotel with great rooms, public areas and attentive staff no
Proximity to the Dublin airport and retaurants. The room looked 'tired'. There was water damage on the wooden tub skirt and the closet smelt slightly musty. Also we couldn't get the WiFi to work but in fairness we never pointed this out to the staff.
The free 24/7 shuttle to and from the airport was very convinent The rooms were old and outdated, shower wasn't good, and bar staff were slow and ignorant
Shuttle service was excellent. No breakfast included. No other restaurants in the area to dine at.
Got early check-in. The shuttle goes quite frequently. And they have hypoallergenic pillows! Dry air in the room.
24 hour shuttle is great. The hotel bar and restaurant are fine, and the crowd is something out of Star Wars - incredibly mixed bag makes great people watching.
The staff was friendly abs courteous. Even though we arrived around 10am the still checked us in and got us settled! The courtesy airport shuttle was wonderful. Not gift shop or salon.
Close to the airport. Hotel shuttle links you to airport shuttle to get downtown and back. Room size was good. Pizza was undercooked (but the cheese on the pizza was fantastic).
We paid extra for the deluxe breakfast buffet, which turned out to be a depressing school cafeteria, complete with plastic trays still damp from the dishwasher. Not what we expected from the reviews.
Food is excellent!
Paying for parking without previously knowing there was a charge. Bathroom was not as clean as I feel it shold have been.
Great atmosphere and very modern Instant coffee in the room
Shuttle driver could have been more specific with terminal information at Dublin airport. We walked much more than necessary and two of our party had difficulty with that.
We picked the hotel close to the airport with a shuttle service. The shuttle service is extremely convenient. We were only staying for one night before flying out. The room smelled a bit. Everything appeared very clean however there was a lingering smell.
Staff was very fruendly You can hear everything from the rooms beside/above you. It is very difficult to sleep
The location was great, especially for my early morning flight. Staff was polite and very helpful, access to buses that take you in the center of Dublin was easy and reliable. The heating system was a bit odd, as it was either too hot or too cold throughout the night. Same can be said for the shower, every 30 seconds the temperature would change from extremely cold to burning hot which made for uncomfortable showers.
Close to the terminals, frequent shuttle departures. Decent restaurant. Tiny rooms, expensive.
Highly recommended if you arrive late or depart early. You can walk to the airport as well
Easy check in/check out. Staff very friendly and helpful. Convenient location to airport and a free shuttle to the airport is a plus. Bar staff and waiters friendly and the food was good. Definitely would recommend.
Friendly staff Dirty bathroom Small room Uncomfortable bed
It was quiet. The shuttle service is convenient. The staff are friendly and efficient. The bathrooms need ventilation fans
We called the hotel when our flight arrived and they promptly picked us up. We arrived to the hotel early and they allowed us to check in so we could drop off our bags and spend the day in the city of Dublin. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating...they even checked us in and printed out our boarding passes for us for our flight. The shuttle in the morning was out front ready and waiting for our early flight. I would definitely stay again.
Good look about it, nice hotel bar, close proximity to airport, nice staff. The rooms were tiny, like smaller than NYC on a budget. I kept saying I felt like I was on a cruise ship down below. If the price were under $100, (say $70) I would think it is great because everything else is accommodating.
Proximity to airport was great, about a 2-3 min ride on free shuttle.
The location is good for the convenience of Dublin airport. The rooms are clean and pretty comfortable for your money. The bathrooms are nice and the showers work well. The staff was rude from pick up to departure. The airport shuttle driver did not assist in loading or unloading any of the luggage from the car. The restaurant and all food service end early so if you have a late flight and want to grab a snack your options are McDonald's and gas station. But god forbid you try to eat your food on a table in the bar area. The staff very rudely kicked myself and my friend out of the bar for trying to eat at a table and when we explained we would be ordering drinks from the bar and just wanted to snack since they were no longer serving food. We were told we could take our food upstairs. Eat at the desk in our room and then come back and order drinks. We did not come back downstairs. The front staff was unresponsive and very short with us. And also tried to double charge both myself and friend when our rooms were prepaid. I would not recommend this hotel based on their staff alone. Besides that, it's a pretty straight forward business layover hotel.
convenient to airport, comfortable for overnight stay, reasonably priced for the area, clean
Right beside the airport even in snowy weather only 10 mins door to door, also could check in on-line and get boarding pass.
The close proximity to the airport and the spacious room. The kettle in the room had a rusty core.
Convenience to Airport as I was in transit. Prompt and reliable Shuttle Transfer was great. My stay was so short (midnight checkin - 6am check-out), I could not comment.
Very comfortable room and very efficient check in and check out procedures
I found everything really good from the start - your reception staff were excellent. If I have any complaint it is with regard to parking charges. I feel that for each night you stay at the hotel your car parking should be free. I stayed for one night but left the car there for two nights - but was charged for three nights - seemingly you are charged from the minute you arrive and not on an overnight basis.
-Hotel was easy to check in/check out -Close to Dublin airport -Airport shuttle every 15min... Very Helpful! -Within walking distance of local pub
I have been before when it was the great southern and it was nice that the bar staff were the same ones and made a great fuss of me when i went in there.
The shower Our room was dirty, there was folding furniture and lamps that didn't even work. The bed didn't have 2 pillows and there were stains in the bed. The furniture and mirrors were broken and scratches. There were stains on the carpet and no bag in the dirty trash can. I was pregnant and my husband and I were on our baby moon. We got in late to this hotel and just needed sleep. We did not get it. It took the staff 20 minutes to get us checked in. Then, when we realized the bed didn't have sheets, we called the desk. They said they'd send someone up. That took 20 more minutes. They sent up a man who just handed us sheets and a pillow and said we would need to make the bed bc he couldn't. We called again and were told the manager was helping a more important client, so we went down to the desk to request a different room. When we got to the desk the manager was standing there not busy and told us he just talked to us on the phone. He said there were no other rooms, but he could give us breakfast. We were leaving before breakfast for a flight and he was unsympathetic. He said we would need to make the bed and just deal with the room. He was very rude and unprofessional. We finally got to bed 2 hours after arriving and very unhappy. It was a bad ending to our beautiful trip. What a shame.
Not near anything other than the airport.
I was looking for a hotel that was close to the Dublin Airport, since I was dropping off a rental car and flying out the next morning. This hotel suited my need very well. The price was right for a single traveler and the meals were good. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. Nothing
The hotel was in an excellent position The hotel room money was taken in advance, but when we arrived were asked for a credit card or 50 euros as deposit. Asked Veronica what for and she told me to cover drinks in mini bar, when we got to room there were no drinks in mini bar!! So it seemed just wanted a deposit, couldnt understand why ?? When I told her didnt pay a deposit when my husband stayed a month ago, the reply was - well rules have changed.
Great location for the airport terminal and good regular shuttle service to the airport.
no critical remarks, indeed
General athnosphere, good location. friendly staff Additional cost of breakfast. Breakfast not included in booking price. Breakfast was an additional Eur20.00 per person
Cookie upon arrival. Staff tried to be helpful when we had to move rooms due to building noise from the fire escape which was next to our room. The gym was clean and well equipped. The hotel is in a process of refurbishment so only the 4th floor was in use during our stay. The hammering and drilling started at 8am on both days we stayed and despite moving rooms it was like being on a building site. The beds at the hotel were the hardest I have ever slept on, I have been very fortunate to have travelled all over the world with my job so have slept in many hotels but this bed ranked as one of the worst! We were in room 400 (on the 4th floor) which was the furthest room from the elevator. Annoyingly it was too far for the wifi to stretch so we were forced to sit in the lobby to get online. Overall our stay was very disappointing and we won't return to this hotel in future.
its location and the friendly staff also the breakfast buffet was excellent the bedrooms were very hot with no way of controling temperature
The room was excellent.
Basic Hotel, would not deem it luxury
The room service staff very really nice and friendly and efficient. The bathroom was not particularly clean upon arrival. Also, the reception staff were not very motivated or friendly.
No comment No comment
The room was clean and had all I needed. I liked having the facility to make tea and coffee in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel was comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful at all times resolving a few difficulties I encountered. The bathroom fan came on continuosly during the night. I was transfered to another bedroom and hotel discounted bill by 40%.
the feeling of luxury, excellent service from all of the staff, reception staff were very professional as were porters bar prices are a little on the high side.. Thats dublin i suppose
excellent service, excellent staff, luxurious room - Fantastic hotel.
Lovely staff, very beautiful building. There was no complimentary water or tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was very annoying. We have to queue to get into the restaurant for breakfast - first time I've ever had to queue in a hotel for breakfast and did not expect this from a 5 * hotel.
When I arrived at 10AM, there was no room ready (understandable), but when I returned in the afternoon, I was shown to a room with a worker working on scaffolding directly outside my window. The second room was fine, but I was disappointed that the clerk had initially no problem assuming he could leave us in a room where we could all wave to a worker!
It was a gorgeous hotel - the breakfast was a bit pricey but it was lovely
The hotel is grand and no detail is overlooked. The breakfast was superb but still talking of the impeccable service. A perfect 10 all around.
1st they are SO ACCOMODATING. Thanks to guest services, concierge DENNIS :-0 and the crew plus the front door attendants, managers, housekeeping are all amazing. Guest Service Rep came to greet us and had the goats milk avail for my daughter. In the USA we can only purchase at select store and did not realize it was more common to have in Dublin. We have made Dublin-the Shelbourne as our #1 headquarters. The quality of our stay, the fact they have vetted services for a nanny, great food, amazing polite service from all departments simply speaks volumes. Mr. Hanley and his staff at this fine establishment continue to amaze me. I really appreciate the peace of mind they bring to me and my little 1 and 2 year old children each visit. We surely feel special and love the amazing spacious rooms. THANK YOU ALL!! See you again next year. I have only positive things to communicate. They can keep up the great work. Great food options, great concierge, guest services, housekeeping, food services.....blessings to you all!
The staff was incredibly accommodating and pleasant.
Excellent staff . relaxing atmosphere. Superior service Breakfast at €29(orange juice and cereal) for a 12 yr old is way too pricey!
Location is perfect but a bit overpriced for what you get. Room was a nice size and staff was very friendly. I think it is better without kids. Overpriced a bit for what you get. Had to call to have room made up after being out from 9:30-3:0 during the day... I guess someone just forgot.
Nothing. I have stayed in better b&bs!!!
Breakfast was insanely good, the best part of our stay.
Bar area,nice ambience,relaxing
we requested lowest floor possible and were placed on the ground floor which was excellent. ease of parking below the hotel.good breakfast. our only problems were at breakfast. 1) limited selection of juice. I prefer tomato and only apple/orange offered. 2) the self service toast machine caused a bottleneck.
Very helpful staff.very clean and comfortable.Nice relaxing atmosphere.Excellent food.
located close to where I had business. Breakfast not included, €11.00 for a continental breakfast is too much, also I wanted a couple of poached eggs but was told I had to go to another restaurant in the hotel for these as the one I was in did not do hot food!
Extremely helpful staff, beautiful venue. A bit pricey, but the full service and excellent rooms justify the price if you're looking for a luxurious stay.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful! Great Staff and so affordable. I am a student traveling and this hotel was awesome and I have pretty high standards :) It was a slight bus ride to the center of town but that was only a pound or so it wasnt that hard at all
The room was spacious and clean. The food served in the bar was excellent and the bar staff were very friendly. The staff at the front desk were not helpful (I tried to get directions to get out of the city and they were most unhelpful and quite rude). The room was nice and spacious, but the extra bedding provided as part of the 'family room' was of very poor standard and very unconfortable. If you stay in this hotel do not accept room 127, it's just beside a can/water machine and main entrance to rooms and it was terribly loud up until 3 or 4 am. Perhaps our experience would have been different if we happened to be in a different room.
Rooms were standard. Towels in bathroom were grey from over washing instead of white.
location to RDS
Location and standard of room Breakfast was very poor standard and selection - Irish Breakfast at €12
it was easily accessable from city one person in restaurant was quite rude to myself and another lady while getting a table for breakfast
Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfortable room with a very nice view onto the front garden. Breakfast extravaganza. Very convenient to all Dublin attractions. We loved it. Highly recommend.
Breakfast was great Very clean Beautiful rooms The water pressure was really low, everything took several flushes. The surrounding area is great location wise, but at night it seems a bit rough. The hotel is very safe.
There was confusion too how many people we had in our party and had to pay an extra 30 euros and it took an extra long time to clear up the confusion after a long day of travel.
We loved the room, the views, the quiet, the location. Close to the train station. The bed was so comfy! Also right near the landmark pub Nancy's Hand. The room design is outstanding! The bathroom was huge! We loved it here. There had a been some flooding from outside and it went into the hotel lobby on the day we arrived and it smelled horrible it was most likely sewer water. he smell only affected the area by the front door and the smell was gone by the time we left two days later. The hotel had professionals cleaners working on it as fast as possible. We would stay here again. The flooding was not there fault.
The breakfast buffet was great with lots of options. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel is within walking distance to all of the sights, but is about a 10 minute walk (depending on how fast you walk). We love to walk so the location was fine for us, but it felt far after a night in Temple Bar.
By the train station There was no plugs for hair tools and phone charging
Hotel is an excellent choice when visiting Dublin. It has excellent service, very clean, and good restaurant. Although it is not close to where most of the nightlife is there is an excellent local pub 2 blocks away and it is located on the local Luas light rail line which provides quick access to most of Dublin's tourist attractions. Slightly removed from what they call City Center
Location,breakfast,bedroom was nice size
It's location was a prime factor in our decision. Phoenix Park was very close by, as was Guinness and The Old Jamison Distillery. Right near the train station and tram stop so access the further parts of thecity and country were 5 minutes away. We'd stay there again.
Staff was helpful and excellent. Rooms were very clean. Accommodations were up to date. Triple room was somewhat cramped.
Lighting was bad for putting on makeup
Shower door in 302 had mold but less than the door frame. The furnishings and furniture may be better Scandinavian (cleaner) than Old English - hiding the dirt and dust.
The hotel was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was that the room was a bit dusty and for it to sleep 3 people the needs to be more towels and tea items to facilitate as we had to contact reception. N/A
Had lovely food and wine in bar! Staff very friendly! We asked for 3 separate beds but I had to sleep on a roll in which would fit. Child and the mattress was poor quality!
The welcome and the comfortable surroundings, the nice breakfast and the helpful staff. I noticed that the window in my room was very draughty - it was a windy night and there was a definite breeze blowing in. I imagine you would save money on your heating costs if you addressed it - room 207.
Able to accommodate early check in request, friendly staff Tv didn't work, took 3 attempts to resolve lounge facilities were able to be booked by non-residents meaning it was very difficult to find a suitable table or seat. I was informed by the hotel that they never booked more than 50% of the sofas, this was not the case as one stage all had reserved signs on them
From room service to front desk staff, all were very welcoming and helpful. The hotel needs a bit of updating (carpets, draperies, furniture but other than that, it was a good stay.
Very comfortable beds, and climate control. Warm, obliging staff who responded quickly to all requests. Good parking, free internet access, very good breakfast and easy access to public transport with quite a few bus routes. Room service was prompt and very good. Could not find a bad point to say about this hotel
I liked the actual building and relaxing bar areas I didn't think it was five star standard
The room was by most standards extremely quiet, and the gardens provide a splendid setting.
Grand setting with fantastic gardens. The rooms smelt of smoke, even though I had a no smoking room. Which had recent cigarette burns to the curtains. Bathroom not quite up to standard (the shower was designed for short people, not even shorter!)
Convenient to Dublin and the accomodations were very nice for the money.
The hotel was lovely and the staff were really friendly. Would love to stay again. We arrived late around 9 so the restaurant was fully book which was fine as the girl at receiption told us that the bar were serving a substancial menu, we were delight as we were straving but when we went to the bar all they were serving soup and salads had we know this we would have got room service as it had such a variety.
Fantastically clean and well designed. Not a thing. we loved it.
This hotel is fantastic! I stayed at another 5-star hotel in Dublin on this same trip and the two don't compare. The service and accommodations were infinitely superior at The Marker- and The Marker was cheaper. An outstanding hotel and excellent value! The only 'downfall' to the hotel is the location. It's in the Docklands area, which is up and coming but is about a 15-minute walk to the more popular tourist areas such as visiting Trinity College, Grafton Street, etc.
The central position of the hotel and also the overall excellent quality made for a very good short break.
Breakfast was wonderful Staff (especially Tommy on front desk) were very helpful Location Handicap room, which was not suited for others with low and very small sink. Shower type assured water to go over the floor.
the location and the rooms and the speed of check in nothing
Pleasant environment, very nice location, friendly staff and spacious clean and luxurious room. The bed was too soft and streetnoise from nightlife
The staff were fantastic and the location perfect for some city shopping and exlporing the city The quality of room service food to cost was not the best
Location was excellent
concierge recommendations great breakfast Very small room with minimal closet space and walking space and a step down to get to the bathroom Had larger room for less money on my 5 previous stays here
The location couldn't be more central. It's luxury accommodation with top class food and service and all the extras you could imagine Not enough power points/sockets in the room for a modern tech age. The AC unit had mold on it
Great location, very pleasant staff, spacious room (especially by European standards). Very nice hotel. Nitpick: bathroom could have used a little updating.
Efficiency and friendliness of the staff; well-appointed, comfortable, clean room.
Staff were very attentive in all areas reception, restaurant, etc
Hotel is very difficult when parking
Location Food and drink prices
We enjoyed our two night stay here so much we actually came back for a third night. This hotel is ideally located for touring around Dublin. We took a bus from the airport straight to the hotel, the tour bus lines leave from ten yards down the sidewalk and taxis line up right across the street. You are right across from the historic post office and the temple bar district is a 6 euro taxi ride away. The rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. If we go back to Dublin we would definitely stay here again. This hotel is situated right in the city so don't expect a view.
I loved the rooms, very pretty. The staff were all very accommodating and friendly. The attached restaurant was also excellent. The price of breakfast was too much for what was offered.
It's in a great location! Staff was very pleasant. Not applicable
Convenient locatoin and overall appearance of the hotel/room. Small room but manageable.
Decor and quality of room. Main reception was a bit officious when we first arrived. We had been delayed due to weather problems and I didnt think we got sufficient attention due to the fact it was late evening.
central location poor dining in facilities
The central location of the hotel and car parking facilities and friendliness of the staff Slight confusement getting from the carpark into the hotel
The front desk staff were very efficient and friendly all during our stay, from check-in, having a 4 pm tea with a group of 12, and at check-out. The staff in the bar were outstanding in their cooperation to assist in setting aside and preparing a place for our afternoon group tea. Wonderful Irish friendliness.
The location of the hotel was perfect. Within walking distance to all central attractions in Dublin. The worst thing was on entering and leaving via the front enterance there was an awful smell of smoke and several people stood on the front steps smoking. Off putting.
I like this Hotel and stay there often.
Location was good. Bar & Restaurant were all very good although expensive - where isn't in Dublin?! Bed, although double, was a bit small and uncomfortable. Air conditioning in room did not work properly (room was freezing though we did not complain) as did guest services on the TV for one whole day so it was hard to find any information as that was where the hotel directory is.
Friendly staff and peace and quiet
Can't beat the excellent location on St. Stephen's Green and Grafton Street. Staff is very professional and efficient. Rooms are nicely appointed, if a little small for two adults. Breakfast was excellent with great and friendly service. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend to my friends. Rooms are small and awkward space for two adults.
The bed was perhaps the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. In the evening, I had a bath and the water was not as hot as I would have liked for a bath.
Great location. Comfortable. Great staff.
Location was great, just off the main street (Grafton). Shower pressure was amazing. Staff very attentive. Rooms are smallish when compared to the Fitzwilliam in Belfast. This might be the average room size for this type of room in Dublin.
The staff and customer service was superb. We had a problem with our room and it was sorted instantly with complimentary wine and chocs, etc Try to avoid a room on the sixth floor as there is some noise from the ventilation/heating systems on the roof in the rooms
we loved our bedroom, good size and beautiful decor;also it was warm and quiet and comfortable When sitting in the restaurant there was quite a breeze coming up from the lobby and we felt cold
Nice room and bathroom, excellent location, friendly staff, efficient bussiness center Too small double-bed for a five stars hotel, overpriced breakfast
This hotel is in a terrific Dublin location. Everything is convenient from St Stephen's Green. The hotel is luxurious and well-appointed with many nice details. I did not eat there, so cannot speak to the restaurant side of the deal. The rooms are a little small but nicely finished and the heated bathroom floor and loaner umbrellas were fabulous touches. I was amazed that the room is small - on a par with a London hotel perhaps of similar class. The only quibble I noticed was the quality of the built-in closet in my room. The doors were of poor quality material and didn't quite close accurately on their hinges. A small gripe for an otherwise thoroughly enjoyable stay.
The location was great and the staff was very nice. For $385 per night the room was small, the bathrooms were quirky and bfast should be included...
The location and the staff were excellent. The stereo does not work with current I-Pods.
it was so central
The Friendly staff and the Hotel Location
Close to temple bar and a comfortable stay
Very convenient location. Bright and spacious Had one disappointing food experience, but it was dealt with in a most professional manner by the manager
The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was superb I thought it was a little expensive given economic climate and time of year.
Its convience. One reception staff, even though he was very helpful and polite was wearing heavy jewelry, a dirty friendship bracelet and shirt collar buttons not closed, he just did not look the part, not professional looking, I wondered what did visitors to our country think of it. Also no Irish whole meal soda bread at breakfast only bakery yeast bread, (not the same thing) Tinned fruit was so disappointing with so much fresh fruit available, yes there was a bowl of whole fresh fruit, but some chopped up would be so much nicer. Also, suggestion, Clonakilty black & white puddings are the best, you should try them.
I liked the rooms and workout facilities and the staff were very helpful answering any questions.
very modern and plenty of comfortable seating areas all over the hotel building work around the hotel but it did not spoil our stay
Ease of Check in, staff were very helpful. Very good location
Comfortable walking distance from the city centre, very clean and spacious rooms. We didn't try the swimming pool thanks to the very good weather in Dublin during our stay! Very good breakfast.
The staff are very friendly. Good location for shopping and the O2. The fire alarm went off at 9am!!
The bar was welcoming, the staff were very informative and a nice atmosphere in the hotel No signage for the toilets adjoining the bar and alot of people were asking the whereabouts of the toilets
I liked that it was very close to the business area, and you could walk to Temple Bar, within 15 minutes. The hotel staff is very kind. It was a little bit old fashion for a tech district. My room had a bathroom for disabled people and it was a little bit uncomfortable. Not sure if it was because of the room availability. Don´t call a taxi from the hotel, it takes forever. We waited for 30 min and ended up booking a MyTaxi last minute, since we were going to be late and we had no clue on how longer we had to wait.
The pillows! The bed was very comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. Whilst the hotel is very nice, I think that it is over-priced.
Great hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful, polite, and engaging. I particularly liked how they helped direct us around Dublin to the places we wanted to visit. Excellent service! Nothing!
the bed very poor selection of food, service had drop from my last stay
Great location...we walked everywhere. Restaurant was expensive and not great, plus breakfast was not included. Comfortable, clean rooms. The restaurant was expensive. Breakfast was not included in the room rate.
The location was pretty good. The room was clean. The entrance and lobby were dirty and dated. The staff didn't seem to care at all.
location internet speed staff expensive
cosy room, good location and helpfull staff beverage and food costs
Excellent staff service Andy he hotel and restaurant. Rooms very clean and comfortable
The staff were friendly and most helpful. The hotel was quiet, and it took me just a few minutes to reach a lovely Park, and St Stephen's Green. Also, the food was delicious.
The hotel was perfect for a short city break as it is so central. The breakfast is spectacular and the staff were so friendly. The beds in the rooms are some of the best ever as they are so comfy and have beautiful white linen on them.
I liked the general quietness and the sense of privacy in the hotel. I also liked the staff who were very helpful and welcoming.
Staff and location House keeping was poor. Mini bar was not restocked. I had a shower before going out for the evening, the towles were not changed. Never experienced that in any other hotel .
Trays of dirty plates outside rooms
comfortable spacious room. check in very busy and slow. 2 check in staff only. They had to deal with numerous small queries re exiting car park ect. It would help if there was someone assigned to queries and 2 staff available to check people in during busy periods.
We were given an upgrade on arrival. The suite was comfortable and clean. Decor could be upgraded a little. Perfect for a shopping trip to the city. Taxi into the city at night was €20. Nothing
Very nice staff.clesn and comfort None
We came through to visit Dublin on our way to our daughter's graduation in Wales. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was helpful with pointing out sights to see and arranging transportation. A great stay!
I did not like it at all. There was a lot of noise, and it was really cold. I have to take two different elevators to go to the fourth floor.
Had no problems with staff. Everyone was very helpful. If I had any questions they were quick to answer no matter how many I had. The only complaint I have about my entire trip was that the beds and pillows at the hotel were very uncomfortable.
It was a convenient location. Our room backed to construction. You had to open the windows, as there was no air. It was fine for us, because we were very tired. The room was clean. It meet I iur needs. The staff was nice and helpful.
Staff No air conditioning, rooms were hot hard time sleeping and very noisy. Could hear both outside and indoor noise
The staff was extremely helpful. Helped with exchanging money, getting details on arriving at the airport, printing our boarding passes and helping with dinner arrangements. Location was a bit too far from the city center.
Close to the Airport. Clean Comfortable Several Tour buses resulting in long line for breakfast. We skipped breakfast because of the line.
Good value for the money a little out of the way from Dublin
The hotel is perfect in everyway. Fabulous central location. Staff very helpful and friendly. the Mint bar and staff was great. Can't wait to return.
great comfort, great staff room a bit small
The location The receptionist.
The quality of the room was excellent The in-room dining was not quite what I expected from the menu
easy access to grafton st poor choice menu for vegetarians
Location was ideal for tourists, gym was adequate and 24 hours, staff was friendly Rooms were cramped and needed more cleaning detail attention (slight mold in grout of shower), smaller bedsizes in rooms should be more clearly advertised when booking.
Pure luxury of rooms, friendly and efficient staff, really relaxing experience, can't wait to go back!
Friendly staff. Clean rooms.
The location is perfect and the exercise room is terrific with lots of options available on a nice array of equipment. Staff are friendly and the rooms comfortable & spacious. They also had our room ready when we arrived at 7:00 AM! Very nice for the weary traveler. Overall it's a classy, comfortable and nice experience. Our room was located on an alley side of the hotel but near O'Connell St. so we had no view at all and noise from buses and vehicles in the morning.
We stay at hotels regularly in Dublin and were pleasantly surprised to find such delightful staff, lovely room and excellent service. I didn't realise the Atrium existed, a great place to meet friends either for lunch or an early evening drink.
the staff, very very nice an helpful i liked everything
Just getting to this hotel caused us problems...no signs...no indication of where to park....very badly laid out arrival. Having returned late to the hotel we were hungry so after being told in the bar that food was about to stop (10.50pm) we decided to room order.....for 2 toasted sandwiches and 2 fries we were charged €34.....very overpriced!! as it arrived nearly 25min later and was cold!!
As a fairly frequent traveler, this was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Spotless, classy, the staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful hotel inside. My room was also one of the quietest I've experienced. Just an all around great hotel. The only thing I didn't like was the area. Close to the airport, but not exactly the safest place to be during late day/early evening (as told to me by a policeman when I had gotten a bit lost returning to my hotel from downtown and was checking to see if I was heading in the correct direction). Plus, the distance from downtown is a bit of a stretch if you don't have a car. However, the LUAS (tram system) is right outside the door, so that was partly my fault as I had not reviewed the transportation system prior to my trip.
The location - opposite the Point (O2 concert venue) and Dublin Wheel with the LUAS (tram) in to town at the door. Ample car parking (at discounted rate of €14 for 24 hours). The service was excellent and the food was generous and of good quality. Lovely "design" room with balcony. I had no complaints during my stay but if someone wanted to spend a nigh out in town they would have to get a taxi back once the trams finish - too far to walk.
Rooms were lovely - staff very friendly & free wifi was appreciated Had two meals - I wasn't impressed with either but the steak my friend had was lovely!
Beautiful hotel and very modern and clean. The shower was wonderful! After oversleeping I missed out on the breakfast I had prepaid and the hotel would not refund me for it.
Very comfortable bedrooms. Also, they seem to have got the heating level just write in the bedrooms, and public areas. Nothing
Ate in the bar. They put on MNS on SS1 so saw the Leicester v Chelsea game too
This hotel is brilliant. The staff are all really helpful & welcoming. The facilities are grwat & the rooms are amazingly sleek & spotless. Nothing
