They are all awesome!
This is not a typical Ritz-Carlton property and Marriott should probably change the brand of this location to something else. The hotel is located in the middle of Downtown Atlanta, and surrounded by homeless people and crime. The first night we were there someone was shot across the street from the hotel, but that’s a lot of Atlanta. The property is dated and while the rooms have been somewhat updated, the pillows were terrible, the bathroom is small, the toilet didn’t work, several items in the room were glitchy, and the feel of the hotel is not at par with the price. The saving grace of this hotel is the staff, they were amazing. From the valet and bellman team, to the front desk and the housekeeping staff, all lovely and top notch. This property also has one of the nicest gyms I’ve seen in a hotel. If this hotel was branded anything other than a Ritz, I would’ve have scored it higher but the expectations don’t meet the brand.
Pros. The location was central and easily accessible.
Cons. The pillowcase had remnants of apparent eye makeup, there was no "smart" TV to access any streaming services, the room service food was average and overpriced for its quality.
Pros. Every employee was great ! The Christmas Dinner was absolutely awesome!! Celebrated our 40th Anniversary and Christmas! We had a wonderful stay!
Pros. Everything about the Ritz is perfect for a business or leisure stay. The service is always impeccable and the rooms luxurious. The beds are always comfortable and the atmosphere perfect. Enjoy staying at the Ritz and eagerly look forward to my next one!
Pros. We were caught up in the Atlanta Airport power outage and when we were finally able to get out it was a welcome relief to book a room. Thank god!
