Car given to me was new but mechanically failed within a few hundreds of km driving. Don’t fault Avis though. But number they gave me to call for help did not respond for an entire day, and only upon me calling back repeatedly and having the original desk call back on my behalf for it to be towed and replaced (which involved me going back to closest airport to pick up another car). When picking up the vehicle, the line moved incredibly slowly. The gentleman was great and took care of four guests in the time the two other ladies were still with the same customer.
