Car was low on oil, lucky I checked, it was at absolute bottom of dipstick...I called and no one knew what to do at rental office, call maintenance, said could tow but not realistic, bought liter of the oil and put in...should have been checked before car was rented outReviewed Sep 17 2024

I rented a car one-way from Calgary airport with a drop off in Banff. I rented the car at about noon and return the car in Banff approx. 7:00pm. I told them I’d be arriving to Banff after they closed at 6:00pm and I was told to put the keys on the drop box. It took me forever to find the parking and when I did find it. I followed the Avis return signs. Once I made about 2 turns down the parking garage, I came to a sign that said the Avis rental car return was closed and to go back up a level. I did this, I found a place to park and went upstairs and dropped the keys in the drop box. I had the car approx. 7 hours total. Today, 4 days later, I got a call from Avis asking if I still had the rental car that was supposed to be returned on the 12th. I told him all of this and I still have not heard back, I still have a huge charge on my credit card and no receipt. Absolute WORST experience!!!Reviewed Sep 16 2024

Even though I had a reservation for 3 months but when I got to the place they said they didn’t have a car available. I had to go to a different car rental company and pay more because I didn’t have a reservation with them.Reviewed Sep 13 2024
