Cons:This was a bait-and-switch scam. Avis and Kayak are pointing fingers at each other , Avis claiming Kayak software is to blame and Kayak trying to blame Car Rentals.com, and Car Rentals.com refusing to correspond with us. The bottom line is that you scammed us for hundreds of dollars. And despite one or two emails from Kayak in response to our complaint, now Kayak is also ignoring us.
Pros:Bait and switch. I ordered a Mercedes C class and at the counter they wanted to charge me 3-4 times more for that car.
Price was good for the 12-day rental. It was exhausting at the time of car pickup, the lady kept trying to upsell me on a bigger car, more insurance coverage. What could take 10 minutes for signing the rental agreement, took over 30 minutes. Everything else was amazing.
Cons:Picking up the car at the Nice airport was unnecessarily long. The process took 2 HOURS! Are you insane! The lines were long, the process slow. You need to change the process. I won’t fly into Nice again!
Pros:Staff was rude / unprofessional and the rental car was more expensive than my reservation. Bottom line is I paid a higher price. The explanation of the staff was ridiculous / absolute joke. She even suggested to go to another rental place to see if I could get a better offer.

Cons:Wait at pickup was extremely long, over an hour. Unable to reach rental desk by phone, always redirected to general number.

Pros:The car was great and the drop off lady was wonderful.
Cons:The lady in Nice for Avis told us that the insurance we bought through you wasn’t adequate and made us very uncomfortable about any scratches, dents, dings would not be covered. So we felt you told and sold us one thing and they aren’t involved and in agreement. Put a damper on that pick up.
