We used it as a place to stay the night before flying out of the airport but its location right by the train would make it suitable for longer stay if staying in Zurich was too expensive or you have a car (free parking). Quad room was spacious and comfortable. The area isn't exciting but, again, works well as a base of operations or stay before/after flying in/out.

Hotel was easily situated at the kloten train station - literally right outside. Shuttle to airport needs to be scheduled in advance, and is very convenient. Nice atmosphere. Rooms are good sized. There is no AC like in much of Europe, but you can use the floor fan and open windows. Great place to stay!

A wonderfully convenient hotel when coming from/going to the airport in Zurich. Although it is right across the railroad tracks from the Kloten train station, all the guest rooms are on the side of the building away from the train so it was very quiet. very easy 15 min. commute into downtown Zurich. Grocery store right across the street and fridge in room so we did our own breakfasts. Staff was very helpful in recommendations for our one free day in Zurich and the free shuttle to the airport was quick and convenient. Also appreciated having a restaurant on the premises for quiet evenings. Definitely caters to international travelers.

The room is very clean. The location is very good for persons who have early flight, just 5 mins to the air port. I booked room for 4 persons, they gave us 2 rooms, one with twin bed and another one is 1 bed but it seems very small for 2 persons, It is just a queen bed. However, it was ok for us.

This what you expect from an expensive airport hotel, good facilities and service. They lenr me a power adaptor due to the odd Swiss power points. I didn't like the shared table in the restaurant at dinner time because I hadn't booked. Breakfast, parking and internet were all expensive.

The hotel is very close to the airport. There is free pickup and drop off at the airport every half hour. We left the bags at the front desk and came back later in the day to check in. Upon collecting the bags, we found that the handle for the bag was broken and also a zip went bad for one of the bags. This was very disappointing ! The hotel staff has promised to get back to us with the details of what exactly has happened. So far, we have not heard back from them !

The hotel is clean and modern with a friendly multi lingual staff. Proximity to the airport is ideal with only a 5 minute tram ride. Overall a good hotel for layovers. The room was extremely small. There are no mini fridges available so the lack of an ice machine along with limited breakfast options was a bit underwhelming for me, especially for the price.

The hotel is very nice -- a great change of pace for an airport hotel -- like small, home-like atmosphere... especially like the ability to walk into the village and hike in the woods. We loved the church bells too. We wanted dinner at the hotel but there was a large group booked and no availability except at the pizzaria -- we were turned away...

Mediocre

It was clean. Terrible experience at this hotel. Staff failed to sent a wakeup call. Gave incorrect information about trains. Single size blankets on queen size bed, would not take care of problem...they were out of blankets! Breakfast was very expensive and unavailable for early morning travelers (flight was 715am). Really disappointed in this hotel. Transportation to airport was 15 minutes later than schedule indicated.

Good

Hotel was very near near station and airport, and the area was much quieter than we expected. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and had everything we wanted. Restaurant was very good, and obviously attracted customers from outside hotel as guests. Buffet breakfast looked good, but because we had little time we were pleased to have a the choice of coffee and croissants in the bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall very hard to find any faults.

Hotel is located in lovely Emmental countryside region. Clean rooms. Hotel is inside a community wellness clinic. The hotel seems to have unfinished renovations, with signs of constructions materials throughout the property. Basic "spa" rooms are not very cozy, institutionalized feeling with hard beds. Reminds me more of a hospital than a spa. No air conditioning..rooms tend to get very hot and stuffy during summer. Busy road in back of hotel tends to be noisy with cars at all times of night.

The staff was great. They were very supportive and always smiling. The bed was very comfortable. Though the hotel is in the suburb of Zurich, getting to the city center took just 15 mins. There were very few toiletteries in the bath. I was slightly overproces. But I guess that is true for all Swiss hotels.

I liked the proximity to Zurich Airport and the fact that there is a courtesy van that takes you to the hotel. The courtesy van was uncomfortable and shabby, and there was a hot-air vent that made the trip from the airport to the hotel very uncomfortable because the weather at the time was very hot and humid. I found the dining facility pretentious and overpriced compared to other restaurants in Switzerland. The wait staff was poorly trained and made numerous errors throughout the meal. Our room was comfortable (particularly the bed) but rather small and dark for a so-called superior room. Only one piece of soap was available in the bathroom, for both basin and tub. I had stayed the Zurich Hilton ten years ago and remember it as a luxurious, first-class hotel. Its current version is undistinguished and overpriced.

Breakfast was excellent although you had to pay for this on top of the room rate. Excellent free shuttle bus runs every 15 to 20 minutes between the airport and hotel. Breakfast finishes at 10:30am. The rooms are a little tired looking in terms of decor.

Very good location, easy to get to and from the airport, as well as into Zuric, and it was great to be able to walk in the countryside after being stuck in a plane for many hours. Why no tea / coffee facilities in the room? It makes a big difference especially when you cannot sleep at 3am.

We were pleasantly surprised when we decided to go for a walk and went to see what the jogging route was about. It's stunning. To have an area like that to walk or run round, literally on your doorstep, was wonderful.

Room was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. Free transportation to/from the airport. We just needed a place to spend our last night before heading home, and it was perfect for that. Meal/restaurant options were a bit limited, and the ride from the airport seemed long.
