Pros:

Nothing! This has happened 2 years in a row with this company! And we have used them for ALL of our rental car needs.. :(

Cons:

We didn't get the van we reserved..this makes 2 years in a row..making our vacation a nightmare with a large family and a wheelchair.. so getting the van we reserved and called twice to confirm,and was told both times that we in fact we ours have what we requested.

Pickup truck

Avis did NOT have the truck on the day I requested it. They said they called but it did not show up in the system and they did not leave a voice-mail either. Luckily I went to ENTERPRISE and they did everything right. I am looking to get a refund from KAYAK . Will never use Avis again!

Cons:

. The facility itself was so dirty. Trash laying around the waiting room. Looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. One person working the entire facility. He was doing his best but the process wasn’t great. There was no walk around to mark dings/imperfections on the car. My car was filthy when I got it. Not only was there NO sanitation/COVID cleaning there were cracker crumbs on the floor of the backseat. Dog hair all over. The navigation/backup camera screen was shattered. It was not good. The person working there said there weren’t any other cars he could give me. I had to be at an appointment in a few minutes so there wasn’t anything I could do. Thankfully, upon return, they did not charge me for the rental. The person working there did his best to make the situation right but they clearly need more staff if he’s the only one expected to run the counter, check in and out cars AND clean. It was not a good experience and I would be renting from here again.

Cons:

Asked for a Ford Focus got a Chevy Volt, had to cram the car because I was moving a a lot of stuff with me. O'Hair site is really inconvenient and has poor signage. Hertz' website should have some instructions for getting picked up from the O'Hair Hertz. The car smelled slightly of (cigarette) smoke, brakes creaked, and the oil change reminder came on. Lastly, the link to the receipt Hertz sent me will not load.

Cons:

I was late for 34 minutes when returning the car, and they charged me the whole day for insurance and car for 75$. Although, on their website they mention the grace period is up to 59 minutes. Avoid this company!

the staff was not friendly at all and actually denied me access to my rented vehicle and denied acknowledgment that I prepaid online for the rental.

Cons:

If the employee respected and acknowledged our online order for the rental.
