Pros: Loved the tacos at night and breakfast ...free.
Cons: No security camera in the parking lots. A car was broken into durning the night (June 4th or the 5th). I was checking out when a gentleman came in and asked if there were cameras...of course there were not.
Pros: Briana checked us in and we had a short and pleasant conversation. My husband and I were traveling with our dog back to Virginia after our wedding in Florida. A little after we checked in, Briana came to our door with treats and a nice note congratulating us on our marriage, as well as treats for our dog! I have never stayed at a place that had that pleasant of customer service.
In addition, the room was clean and cozy and the continental breakfast had so many options. I love Drury and will definitely stay there in the future!
Pros: the staff were very nice, and the breakfast was awesome!
Cons: Pros: Appreciated cleanliness and the beds were comfotable
Cons: Either insulate walls or make elevator bell quiter. We were woken up several times in the night.
Pros: The room smelled clean and fresh. The bed linens were soft and mattress was super comfortable. Great customer service. Large breakfast buffet.
Pros: We really enjoyed the free hot breakfast and clean room and bath.
Pros: Happy hour.
Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Pros: Enjoyed my stay loved the location. Very clean and the staff was very friendly. The valet parking was awesome.
Pros: Great location and extremely receptive staff
Pros: The employee's are incredibly helpful. The breakfast was great. Location was perfect. Rooms were sexy. Had a nice time getting away for a weekend.
Pros: The gym is actually pretty well equipped for a hotel. The king studio suite I stayed in was spacious and well designed to feel more like a home than just an average hotel room. I appreciate the abundance of electrical outlets in the room, as well as the full length mirror.
Cons: Not well soundproofed to the hallway.
Pros: Very clean, rooms were everything I had hoped, breakfast was amazing!
Cons: There is construction going on in front of the hotel. Entrance is kind of hard to see.
Pros: i like how it was downtown....and that is were it ended
Cons: the front desk clerk was rude and not well informed. She sent me on 30 min search for a pack of smoke. The room had a weird smell. The cleaning staff woke us up several time EVEN THOUGH we had a 1 pm check out

Pros: Close enough to downtown and the stadium to be walking distance
Pros: Lovely clean room.
Cons: Neighbors were loud and did keep me awake part of the night.
Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and accomodating. Even with the renovations that were going on it was quiet.
Pros: The room and the entire hotel were well cleaned and comfortable. Breakfast was good!
Cons: Older facilities. There were bubbles in the drywall that hadn't been properly repaired, the faucet set screw had been replaced with a drywall screw that didn't fit, the carpet is nearing the end of it's life.
Pros: It really was as clean as they said it was.
The included breakfast buffet was stocked, fresh, tasty and varied.
Cookies available at check-in! Woo Hoo! It's just a little thing but it sure was nice.
Cons: I really had to think hard about anything I didn't like. The Front Desk didn't have access to the kitchen to refill coffee amenities, like cream and sugar, after hours. They ran out by 10:00 PM and I had to leave my group and run up to my room to put cream in my coffee that I got from the kiosk in the lobby. It wasn't a big deal to me but it might be to someone who had a bad night.
Pros: I like the location
Cons: didnt like the parking situation

Pros: There was so much to do at the hotel. I didn't need to leave to be entertained.
Pros: I liked how clean and spacious the room was. I loved the bed and pillows.
Cons: I would change two things about this place. 1. Wifi should not be an extra charge, it should be complementary. 2. Complementary breakfast would also be nice.
Pros: The service was exceptional. Dinner was a dream. Reminded of the way they treat you at Pinehurst Hotel.
Pros: Everything about the Ballantyne is perfect! The rooms are beautiful, the bed is extremely comfortable, and the staff is extremely attentive and helpful. I love staying at the Ballantyne!

Cons: At check in we were charged for parking when I clearly showed them that it was to be included in my reservation. They said since I booked with a third party, there was no guarantee that the amenities I paid for would be honored by the property. REALLY??? They also knew we were a party of 3 and clearly needed 2 double beds but put us in a king with a roll away. Not overly pleased with the overall experience at check in.
Cons: Hotel staff was uptight
Pros: Excellent hotel in every way, except was a little too expensive.
Cons: Price was too high .

Pros: Not only was this hotel reasonably priced, but we really enjoyed our stay! The room
Itself was fine, but every single staff member we interacted with was extremely kind and friendly! I'd highly recommend!
Pros: Loved my stay
Pros: great big rooms, nice bed, very clean and quiet for such a large place. Staff was excellent, very helpful. Good breakfast selection
Cons: We were at the whitewater center, wish it was closer. But we would stay there again.
Pros: Staff. Allowed pets. Cleanish.
Cons: High fee for pets, $75. Bed was not firm enough for my taste

Pros: Everything was OK to good, nothing was great. A fair price for a fair hotey
Pros: The location was terrific and hotel staff very friendly.
Cons: The room was designed and decorated from the late '90s. All the furniture was pushed to one side of the room, like they had been cleaning the carpets. For the exorbitant price, the hotel was lacking a lot.
Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: Not what I expected at a Hilton Garden
Cons: They didn't offer free breakfast or coupons for the $13 'buffet'. Disappointed in paying over 150 bucks for a place and not given any sort of free breakfast.
Pros: Staff was very friendly.

Pros: The pool area and hot tub were clean and functioned well. The beds and bathroom appeared clean.
Cons: The hotel showed signs of wear and dis-repair.
On arrival I noticed that the smoke detector in our room was hanging off the wall by the wire. We were too tired to deal with it on our late arrival. Not a good decision. I went in to take a shower the next morning. Apparently the vibration from shutting the bathroom door set off the smoke detector. I went down the hall to make sure it was the only one activated. I could hear only that smoke detector 100 feet away.I called the front desk. I had to tell them the room number. I am not sure if they even knew a smoke detector had alarmed. They sent somebody up a few minutes later. He worked on it a few minutes and then the shrieking stopped. Then he put it back on the wall properly. Not a good way to start a morning.
There were other issues as well. The blackout curtains had holes in them and we had a security light blasting into the room during the night. The rings on the grab bar in the tub were not connected etc.
My problem with the staff came on check out day. I left my pillow at the hotel. I figured this out a couple of hours later while driving. I had my son call the hotel. It was about 2 in the afternoon. The phone rang for over a minute before anybody answered. (That explained why the front desk appeared vacant a few times when we went in and out.) He asked if they found the pillow. The front desk took our number and said they would check with housekeeping then call us back. We did not get a call back. I called the hotel back after we got home at 5. It rang at least 25 times for me as well. The front desk said they had checked with housekeeping and there was no extra pillow in the room. There was no comparison with the one I lost and the hotel pillows. (They were small and flimsy.) It was even in a beige pillow case. It was sitting on the room table when we left it. Either they didn't really look or they didn't care.

Pros: The location was great, with an awesome view to boot. The room was comfortable and clean.
Cons: I felt like I was staying in a cheap motel next to the highway when the occupants in the next room turned up their music and partied into the wee hours of the morning. The walls were thin enough to hear laughter, cursing, and singing... was very disappointed to not have a restful time.
Pros: The gum
Cons: The room ... The bell hops
Pros: Location, price
Cons: Air conditioning in room couldn't get below 72 degrees
Pros: Was just passing through NC and needed a nice hotel gor decent price and I was amazed at the deal I got on a hotel that in my book should be 7 stars!!!
Cons: Rooms.were spacious and modern, beds and pillows are very comfy, batrhoom very cool!!!
Pros: My husband and I decided to book a room somewhat last minute on a holiday weekend. It was our 6th wedding anniversary & we were looking for something a little different than the past years celebrations. The first night, we were on the 5th floor, in a comfortable room with nice amenities. The next day, we decided to book another night & had no problems doing so very easily. My husband spoke to an employee in the lobby about possibly switching rooms so that we could see the fireworks. While we couldn't get a room on the side of the building where they shot off the city's fireworks, we got a great room on the other side of the building where we could watch all the fireworks on the horizon going off for hours. They gave us a sweet gift bag with snacks & since we were moved to the top floor, we also got access to the executive lounge, where we had access to free breakfast & all the other amenities offered there. It was great & we really appreciate all the help from the staff for making that possible.
Cons: While we had one night of parking comped, the $20 a night parking fee seems a little steep to me. We live in a small town where there aren't even meters for parking, so that's a bit of an adjustment.
Pros: The staff was so welcoming and courteous we felt very much at home the minute we arrived!
Cons: No late dining in hotel. However there were LOTS of great places within 2 blocks
Pros: The staff was great. Always friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs (we were attending an event at the convention center). The executive lounge was an excellent place for coffee & breakfast with a nice view of Charlotte.
Cons: Our A/C in the room did not work. We called the front desk and they sent a gentlemen up to fix it. He came in, changed the filter, told us it was working now and left. However, the room never cooled down and I called down again. Unfortunately, we had left the "do not disturb" sign on the door from that morning and the technician was not permitted to enter the room. (we had left for the evening) So the air conditioning was never repaired and the only downside to our stay was a very hot room.
Pros: Horrible service. Ridiculous terms and rules.
Cons: Being charged over $200 for a false noise complaint, TWICE. Not even informing us about the charge whatsoever. Really selfish staff.
Pros: Close proximity to restaurants and sites,
Cons: Long wait to check-in
Pros: It was very clean secure and had a friendly staff
Cons: Parking deck was 6 foot eight inches and had to pay twenty dollars to park my van overnight
Pros: How clean and friendly everyone was

Pros: Very clean. Friendly staff. Good food. Nice and comfortable bed!
Cons: When I got there the room was clean. But the bathroom still had dirty towels in from the previous people staying in my room.
Pros: The staff was very friendly, always offered assistance, great place to take your family and dog, great location in Greenville within walking distance to many restaurants and places to do something fun, we recommend this place highly and planning on returning soon!
Cons: Staff was amazing
Rooms very clean and great views at charlotte
Dog friendly they offer treats and water in the lobby
Close to restaurants
Pros: Bed was very comfortable and the staff was my favorite part. They were very helpful and nice. The place was very clean and loved the checkout time.
Cons: My fiance and I traveled to Charlotte for one night to attend a concert. We pulled in and cones were blocking the entrance to self park which resulted in us using the valet service. Service was great but it was 30 dollars for one time valet. Very pricey especially for something we didn't want to do in the first place. Checking in didn't go as planned either, my reservation wasn't showing up but I had a printed and email confirmation. About 20 minutes later it was sorted out by having to make another reservation. The staff was by far my favorite part. They were helpful and patient even with a ton of people bustling around needing something.
Pros: Valet is super
Cons: I had a modified reservation with a better rate and the manager Darron acted as if I was making it up! Not satisfied with his handling of it.
Pros: I love the fact the asked me if I wanted a high or low room..of course we took the high and the view for the 15 floor was amazing
Cons: I didn't like that I requested a room on a high floor with a nice view and wound up with one on the 7th floor with a view of a roof. I also didn't like that I had to keep pestering the hotel staff for a remote and the only way someone finally seemed to act was when I requested another room, one with a remote. The TV had the channel and volume button disabled so I could only watch the never ending hotel channel. It drove me insane and I missed my favorite TV show because 3 phone calls, a trip to the front desk, and an encounter with a gentleman on the floor taking care of something else didn't seem to be able to produce a remote. Why didn't the cleaners check previously that a remote was in the room? That is standard. I was also disappointed that the hotel didn't have wifi. Some computers, especially MacBooks do NOT have an ethernet port so they cannot be plugged in. I wound up having to tether my computer to my phone just to surf the net. For the price, this was a very bad experience and I will NEVER stay at this hotel again.
Pros: Excellent location! Perfect walking distance from all of down town! Great view of the Panthers stadium. Room was generally clean.
Cons: Received an unauthorized charge after check out of $20 for self parking after paying for a very high end hotel room. There were very few self parking spots and most of the garage was taken up with construction. There were plenty of reserved valet parking spots, but we WERE NOT TOLD about the $20 self parking and the $25 valet parking, so we just walked the extra distance thinking we were saving money.
Pros: I liked everything about my stay except for a few unfriendly and standoffish hotel employees and security staff members...
Cons: When I first arrived I was greeted rudely by the security staff...
There was an event/wedding under way, and because I was dressed in casual urban attire I was blocked at the front door until I informed them of my reservation....
The only people who were genuinely friendly to ke throughout my stay were a valet associate named Matthew and older Spanish woman in the gift shop and the young ladies at the concierge counter.
If it wasn't for those 5 connections my stay could've been undesirable...
Those individuals mentioned above, salvaged the negative impression that the security staff left with me....
Pros: Overall, a very nice hotel. Up to standard.
Cons: Was not pleased with my stay. I checked in at 6:30 and none of the rooms were clean. I found this ridiculous and almost unheard of. I was not put in the room that I had originally booked which had bathrobes. The room they put me in did not so I asked for them three times. They promised they would bring them up and they never did. Very disappointed in the staff and customer service so I will not be staying here again unless I am reimbursed.
Pros: The view of the city was beautiful at night though walking to the Epicenter was interesting as a group of adults were two blocks up trying to panhandle on the one side of the street.
Cons: Family stayed at the same time and said they had robes on there room and we did not. Also cold water in room was not cold but warm. Also housekeeping did not leave correct bath amenities and toilet handle was broken.

Pros: One of the worst hotel stays ever. For a 4 star hotel I expected more but it's a really trashy place . Stay at the Embassy and avoid this place.
Pros: This hotel is one of the most modern hotels that I've ever stayed and I love it here! The food and bar were amazing (a little expensive but definitely quality) and the staff was really welcoming and accomodating.
Cons: I wish they would notify you a little sooner if they cannot honor the check-in time you request. I had a very early flight to Charlotte so I requested a check-in time of 8AM-9AM and I had scheduled meetings for 2PM that day so I needed to rest. Once I arrive in Charlotte, I receive a text at 8:40AM that my room won't be ready until 3PM so I had to roam around the city until about 1PM when they called to let me know my room was ready.
Pros: Great location, right off the highway.
Cons: Hotel was going through some renovations, which is a good thing. The rooms felt old.
There was blog or some substance on the bedding in my room. I didn't notice it until I was packing up to go the next days.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and the building looks and smells clean. I will be staying there again.
Cons: The walls are very thin. I could hear the TV next door all night.
Pros: Newly renovated rooms
Cons: Had a brief loss of water due to a broken pipe. Toilet leaked around the base
Pros: Loved the fitness facilities, they had everything we needed to keep up on our workouts; nice "business center" with access to computers; very friendly staff; enjoyed the restaurant & outdoor pool lounge areas; very clean. Beautiful hotel. In the midst of remodeling so construction going on, but we were on one of the newly renovated floors, so it was very nice! Very comfortable rooms & beds, loved the large "rain" showerhead and having an actual shower versus the typical bathtub/shower combo. Great central location for all the sites and activities around Charlotte.
Cons: Breakfast buffet was nice but a bit pricey for what was offered. Would have liked a larger variety and choices for the price. It seemed to take a long time to get meals when ordered.

Cons: No lobby coffee service after breakfast. No free internet in rooms.
Pros: Every staff member was personable and friendly. Quick responses to any question/issue. Nothing ever runs perfectly but it's a great company that responds and works to improve in the future. Their GM should be proud.
Cons: No much. Restaurant menu could use more vegetables but that's just me.
Pros: Nice place and location. Comfortable room
Cons: Why did the cleaning staff try to barge into our room repeatedly starting at 8 in the morning? Seriously tried to come into room 3 hours before checkout, then tried two more times before 11am. Ridiculous.
Pros: Every representative of the hotel we encountered was awesome. They went above and beyond their duty to provide outstanding customer service. So impressed!

Cons: Staff is too loud in the mornings in the halls. Add hydraulics to the room doors so they don't slam.
Pros: Great location. Close to food, mall, shopping and highway. Good price and able to sleep six comfortably. Great welcome by staff.
Cons: Bathroom door was not able to close properly without jimmying and toilet seat was actually worn out. Minor, but you'd think housekeeping would have noticed sooner.
Pros: It was super clean and cozy . The bed were Ilya comply . Definitely will stay again it I'm in town.
Pros: Newly renovated, and it showed. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and much larger than I expected. We do a lot of travel ball, and this room would have been very comfortable for a multi day stay. Staff was friendly.
Pros: Overall, great place- up to date, great power outlet locations, great bed, breakfast, and even a cocktail hour at checkin.
Cons: The bathroom Toilet needed some attention - the seat wasnt screwed down properly, but i didnt feel like calling for maintenance.

Cons: I stayed in the Handicapped room, which in itself is fine. However the bathroom and specifically the shower were awful. I don't know how anyone could have used the shower. The shower heads basically could be moved only inches and mostly hit the wall.
The air conditioning was also terrible. I set it at 70 and it would just get hot and cold throughout the night. It was also very loud when it would turn back on.
Overall, the facilities were fine except for the room, which is the most important part of a hotel...
Pros: The kitchen to cook
Cons: Housekeeping was very late most days
Pros: They actually clean the comforters and the free breakfast is nice
Cons: There was nothing i didnt like
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly, the hotel is clean. It's it located about 15-20 minutes from downtown and right off of the highway. Breakfast was delicious
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Large clean rooms at affordable price.
Cons: Limited vending options and restaurants

Cons: Poor customer handling by hotel manager/poor breakfast quality &quntity/very limited items in bad conidition.
Pros: The king suite was spacious, luxurious and clean. Everything was top notch
Cons: The morning staff did not cue me for the airport shuttle as they said they would. Did not have as much professionalism as the night staff.
Cons: It was just gross. For example, I took a hot shower and the bathroom doesn't vent well. The steam condensed on the ceiling and in some cases dripped onto the ground. The drips were this incredible yellow buttery mess. One of the most repulsive things I have ever seen in my life. Also it is very close to the airport but it is not possible to walk there, no matter which way you go you'll have to walk on a highway eventually, so you will have no choice but to take a $14 cab. (That's the minimum fare)
Also there's a much nicer hotel in the same parking lot, I can't believe I was so stupid.
Pros: The location was wonderful. We went to a Panthers game Friday night and was only a 15 minute drive to the hotel after the game. Even though it was 1 AM when we arrived, the staff was friendly and very helpful. I liked that the hotel had a security guard patrolling the parking lot.
Saturday morning we went to the National White Water Center and it was only a 18 minute drive with traffic. Pool and hot tub were nice after a hard day of paddling and rope courses.
Our room was quiet except for the occasional plane passing over. Thoroughly pleased with the breakfast options. I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Hard to find the hotel entrance from the highway since it is part of a thru way from the Mobile gas station. I drove past it twice before I was able to enter.
Pros: I liked all of it. personnel is excellent all around. shuttle readily available. distance from airport is less than two miles. I got a good rate on internet site.
Cons: not a problem for me, but the wake up call were jets from clt flying overhead

Cons: Had to buy the 3rd room cause the hotel didn't honor my request for 2 queen beds in each room (I got 2 rooms) How can I be sure my request is fulfilled next time? I had called to the hotel and the clerk had assured me we will have the 2 queen beds.
Pros: The staff was very nice
Cons: The hot tub was disgusting and the pool was murky.
Pros: Checked the box for us in being conveniently off the highway, clean, safe, nice rooms and a great lobby/lounge area.
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms, nice cafe, lounge area, good breakfast with friendly staff.
Pros: Out door fire pit and double head shower
Pros: ALL of the above.
Cons: There wasn't any free coffee in the lobby for guests.
Pros: The location. Close to I-85.
Cons: No free breakfast.
Pros: The water pressure was awesome!
Cons: The bed was a bit hard, but the rest of the room was great.

Pros: Everything was wonderful I really enjoyed my weekend there I recommend this hotel to any one who is looking for a good hotel the staff was friendly
Cons: There is nothing that I can say was bad about this hotel
