The thought of a poolside room sounds great, right? Well the thought of a poolside room was nice... but that's just about it. Location was great, right off of a main road, easy to get to. Actually having a poolside room was horrible. Sounded like kids of all ages, up to young adults, we're non stop screaming and being loud. All through the night all you could hear were drunk loudmouths sitting at the pool acting absolutely retarded.. which would have been fine if we were one of the many other tweaker that were there that doesn't sleep. Not to mention the paint on the walls were peeling, the leaking faucets, the jack and Jill rooms that were never mentioned, the plugged toilet that never got fixed, the main door not shutting all the way to where u had to use the deadbolt to lock it shit, or the broken latch on the glass sliding door to the pool was busted, the rec area outsidea was trashed the entire stay, garbage, food even feces all over. Or best of all.. the concierge. That looked down on us every chance he had, disrespected us every time we tried talking to him, refused to give us extra towels or pillows, didn't tell us where our room was or how to get to it, didn't tell us about the breakfast, WiFi information, or anything about the check out time. Oh, and never answered the phone when we tried calling the front desk. Also, our key cards never worked for any of the other entrance doors and had to walk about a half mile just to get from our vehicle to our room. I am disabled and can't walk as well as others.
It is a great experience with much given privacy, complimentary breakfast great accommodations such as a walk out balcony to smoke swimming pool sana hot tub and slide for swimming pool
I liked the location and the hotel layout was very interesting. I very much liked the size of the room which was exceptional. The pool area is very nice and quite grand. I was disappointed to discover that the hotel allows smoking in some areas and of course, despite their attempt to keep me distant, I could detect it. Even more disconcerting was the apparent lack of interest in details on cleanliness. I am not overly sensitive, but many people I know would not stay there. My room was fine, but the rest of the hotel felt very unkempt. The elevator was incredibly dirty - I wondered how long it had been since anyone had mopped the floor, even the walls were grimy and stained. I did not want to touch the handrail. This left me doubting the cleanliness of the rest of the hotel. For many of my business associates this would be a deal breaker. The breakfast appeared to have been hastily and thoughtlessly prepared. Boiled eggs that must have been a week old. The first morning there was no milk or cream for the already very bad coffee Loose the powdered creamer and put out milk or half and half. Powdered creamer screams "budget" - a very poor sign. Prepare better coffee - people expect it. All these unattended to details left the impression that the hotel was hanging on, or days away from going out of business. The room was very reasonably priced but I would have been happy to have paid more for the room if the hotel had been cleaner. Also..kill the smoking. Not acceptable.
Is it the Taj Mahal . . . no. Is it a clean comfortable room with amenities, yes. Since we were traveling with our dog it was important that they had allowances for that & they do. The continental breakfast was adequate for an expensive hotel, but excellent for the price of the hotel. House keeping did an excellent job & the front desk personnel were very friendly & accommodating. We will definitely be staying here in the future. I'm trying & I cannot come up with a negative.
It was great to be on the river with access to the river trail and a nearby park. Our room had a river view too. Clean room with a comfortable bed although decor was a little dated. in-room fridge, microwave and complementary complete breakfasts were nice pluses, all for about $75 a night. They also allowed a dog for an extra $15 a night. It's not a luxury hotel but a very good deal for the price.
Nothing, The room smelt like smoke and were really dated, the pool was cold, the continental breakfast was a joke. The list could go on for ever, i mean the shower didnt drain, the tv was 20 years old ,the hot tub was warm not hot. Spend your money somewhere else. I dont have anything nice to say about this place.
Older needed a bit of a facelift.
price was about $20 less than nearby hotels
Comfortable bed! My room was in disarray when I first entered it. Coffee machine on the bed, garbage can on its side, chairs all over the place. Fortunately it was a comfortable bed. Breakfast was also pretty meager.
Location is near Howard Amon Park where music festival was being held. I was there to perform at that festival. Room was large and clean. Hot breakfast was good each day. Quiet. We went on to tour further east and stopped again at Shilo on the way home. Room was small and had a musty smell. Asked for no stairs but there were several stairs to access room. Noisy neighbor upstairs yet hotel was practically empty. Breakfast was still good!
Customer serves was excellent. Breakfast was well worth it. Location and setting was excellent. Could have been more updated.
The check in were painless and quick. Also early check in accommodation were made for us. There are only one elevator so the wait can be long.
The hotel was going through a remodel, so the lobby was a mess. That wasn't a big deal, since we didn't intend to use the lobby for anything. I booked through a 3rd party, but the hotel was nice enough to upgrade us (at no charge) to the river view side versus the city view side. Very nice staff in all areas; front desk, housekeeping, maintenance. The room was very clean. We live about 10 minutes from this hotel. We decided to make it a family fun night/day and stay at this hotel for the pool only. Unfortunately, the pool water was FREEZING! And the jacuzzi was luke warm, at best. What a huge disappointment. We talked to the front desk twice and even had a maintenance employee check the temperature. Everyone said it was a heated pool, but we found that hard to believe. Either their heater is broke or malfunctioning, or its a complete lie. We had 8 people swimming and all of them said the water was freezing. Again, what a huge disappointment. If we do this again, we will pick a different hotel.
Clean and very nice location Not much not to like. Some outdated decor but overall very nice
close to town 4 wineries within walking distance clean great breakfast with lots of options! We came to Prosser for the Wine and Art Gala. When we checked in, we asked if there was a shuttle to town. Front desk said no, but recommended a driving service by "Cindy." Cindy was very nice, and the car was clean, but she was greatly over priced. For a 1.4 mile one way ride, we were charged $25!!! The real kicker came when the van driver of the RV park a crossed the street offered free shuttle service to and from the event for both the RV park and the hotel! When we complained, the night shift front desk employee said they have had multiple complaints about Cindy. Don't fall for Cindy's driving scam!
Great facilities: small business center, pool and spa, fitness equipment, excellent staff. Located in a somewhat out-of-the-way location. No restaurant in hotel and none within walking distance although several good restaurants are nearby if driving.
Very friendly staff. Room was clean and nice. Pool was nice and well maintained. Bed was really comfortable, nice quality sheets!!!!
The cleanliness, low price and flexible cancellation policy. The room was not comfortable. Lighting was florescence and harsh. No warmth or hominess to the place. The other guests were loud in the evening. Many smokers on the balcony and a few barking dogs. It was ok for one night, but I will never stay there again. I would try a Motel 6 at a different location, but I would check the room before paying.
Good price for an overnight stay and easy to find. Parking and secure wifi is included and every room has a minifridge and microwave. It's within walking distance to a main area with lots of bars, restaurants, and shops. The motel is older and rundown, but the rooms are ok. There's no coffee maker in the room, but there is coffee available at reception.
