Cons:

I chose a car rental for the trip because of the total price, which was 126 euros when booking. I also calculated the cost of fuel approximately 120 euros for a trip of 1300 km, which together is about 250 euros for four people, which was cheaper than a train or plane. When I asked at the counter why there was 303 euros in the account, I was told that I had already paid online and that it didn't matter. Today, my invoice arrived at 303 euros and the amount of the difference was duly deducted from my account in the amount of 177 euros. For the total amount of rent + fuel costs, which is 430 euros, I could travel by plane and cheaper !!!! Show the total price when booking, not some "astimated rental price" witch is around 1/3 of total price at the end...

We had a reservation for 2 cars week's in advance and still there were no car's for us waiting.....After 2 hours of begging 😢 we somehow got the car's. Sorry but that's unacceptable 😔 if I run my business that way I would be hungry. I saw there people waiting four five hours for the car 🚗...Not a way to do business.....I will reconsider if I want to go through this again really not a good experience. Car class reserved not available. Wait estimated at 1h. Class above immediately available but was asked to pay an upgrade! Took a lower class (no refund there...). Was informed that any breakdown would cost me 290$ for intervention, after I mentioned I was using my credit card insurance. And funnigly, the car I was given had a permanent hand brake alarm problem despite hand brake unlocked. this at pick up, but i didn't have time anymore to exchange. Gd thing I did only a small number of km.... Not a good experience this time. thks best Sylvain

Excellent customer service. Very friendly. Distance from office to cars pick up pretty far in Berlin. We had to go twice the distance due to not finding one feature in the car. Customer Representative did not hesitate to walk us back to help and serve the problem. Thank you Alamo, we will always rent from you again.

Full-size station wagon

Car very clean. Downgrade from what was promised since Enterprise has an unwritten and unadvertised policy for not renting German car brands out to countries east of Germany despite being in Schengen zone of European Union. PHEV drivertrain was great but unable to charge since the cable provided is compatible with home outlets not the street chargers.

There are a lot of hidden fees and taxes that nobody explains when booking. My booking was made for a total of 106€ and I ended up paying 219€ plus a 250€ deposit that I am not sure when I will get back.
