Since our hotel refurbishment in late 2015, here at The King s Head we now have a range of room types available. We have 4 deluxe Doubles with King size beds, 4 x King Room doubles with Super king size beds, 1 x Superior double with freestanding Roll Top Bath in the bedroom and 1 x fabulous suite also with Freestanding Roll top bath. Prices start at £89.95 per night and include a complimentary home cooked breakfast. There is complimentary parking on site, and free WiFi throughout the building. /p We also offer our guests 20% off their food bill should they chose to dine with us during their stay. Our kitchen saw a fantastic refurbishment at the same time as our hotel, and the instillation of a Josper oven, allow us to deliver the best steaks in Beverley! Lets not forget the wood burning pizza oven either. We are situated in the heart of the historic Beverley town centre, with all the local amenities you can require during your time with us. /p The hotel itself is situated above our lively bar, with a resident DJ playing until 1am on Friday and Saturday nights. There are many fine buildings in the town which is dominated by the magnificent Minster and St Mary s Church, both of which date back to medieval times as does the Friary. Other attractions include Beverley Treasure House, Art Gallery and Museum as well as the Beverley Racecourse. There are two trails to follow in the town, one following the Medieval Guilds and Crafts, the other celebrating the famous artist Fred Elwell and his wife Mary. Replicas of their beautiful paintings can be seen on buildings in the town by following the Fred and Mary trail. It is the general ambience of the town, however, which is the chief attraction. The Westwood affords a pleasant evening stroll and a fine view of the town. BEVERLEY is a centre from which many good places can be visited. In HULL you will find an excellent museum quarter which includes:- Ferens Art Gallery, the Town Dock Museum, the Streetlife Museum, the Hull and East Riding Museum, Wilberforce House, the Arctic Corsair, the Hull Maritime Museum, Maister House, Trinity House and The Deep, an icon of Hull, which is one of the largest aquariums in the world. In the surrounding area can be found The Humber Bridge, Burton Agnes Hall, Burton Constable Hall, Burnby Hall Gardens, Skidby Windmill, Sewerby Hall, Bridlington Harbour, Sledmere House, Bempton Cliffs (RSPB), Hornsea Mere, Hornsea Museum of Village Life, Castle Howard, York, Lincoln, Howden and the North Yorkshire Moors. It is a good centre for exploring The Wolds (so loved by David Hockney) either by walking The Wolds Way or by cycling through them on the Big Sky Bike Ride (circular day rides on quiet roads and country lanes).

Holme Wold Cottage has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and can sleep up to 8 guests. For smaller parties you can book just 2 bedrooms at lower rates. This means the cottage is suitable for parties from 1 to 8 people. We also offer the use of a travel cot, highchair & stairgates for younger guests Downstairs there is a fully equiped kitchen and modern shower room. The cozy sitting room has a log fire, freeview TV and comfy sofas. In the dining room there is a large table that can seat up to 8 and the leather sofa. Upstairs is the family bathroom and the 3 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have king sized beds, one of which can be converted to two 2ft 6in single beds if required. The third bedroom has twin beds. Outside there is a large garden, secure shed and 3 parking spaces, one of which is undercover. The garden is mainly lawn so is great for the children and pets to play whilst the adults can relax on the patio area with garden furniture. The village of Holme on the Wolds is close to the historic market towns of Beverley and Driffield. Within easy reach of the beautiful East Yorkshire Coast including the towns of Bridlington and Scarborough, the historic City of York as well as the county’s hidden gem the port city of Hull. The area offers many opportunities for cycling and walking holidays being close to the famous Wolds Way and many other quiet roads and pathways.
