Pros: Great people, great place, great food! You enter in a warm place with a fireplace, they welcome you with a big smile and then they lead you to your room(which was like my dream house) which is clean, comfortable and with amazing view. The dinner was amazing and also the breakfast very good. The prices were to low for such a great place in my opinion. I will go again for sure. Already miss it!

Pros: Michele, the owner, makes you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The rooms are comfortable, modern and very clean. Breakfast is excellent and so is the dinner. I liked the atmosphere and the way the staff takes care of all the small details to make you comfortable. The hotel has a secured room where you can store and maintain your bicycle, which was very convenient.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: One of the best accommodations we've ever stayed at. This is a beautiful family-owned hotel in a great location. Michele, the owner, came out to the parking lot when we arrived to warm welcome us and helped us to carry our luggage. We got a comfy room at the top floor with a beautiful mountain view. The food, both breakfast and dinner, was delicious. Michele knows pretty well the whole region and recommended us a few spots for hiking which turned out to be amazing. Best hosts hands down. We stayed here for the weekend of the GranFondo Stelvio Santini (a cycling race). On race day, the restaurant opened at 05:00 for us the cyclist to have a good early breakfast before the race. Highly recommended!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic - what a gem of a hotel in Bormio. Super -modern rooms with amazingly friendly staff and private parking for my motorcycle - it doesn't get any better than this. The rooms are all like little suites - bedroom, living room, a little kitchen area and a bathroom. Ours had a good balcony too. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. There is a spa on the ground floor and gardens to sunbathe in if you wish. It has a little bar which has a bakery in it. It doesn't have a restaurant but actually this just meant there was no "hard sell" on eating there and the receptionist was easily able to recommend a couple of restaurants in the town (there are plenty). All of the staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic. I really can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
Cons: nothing - it was superb.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, beautiful views from the balcony, quiet, would definitely come again!
Cons: We were having difficulties speaking in english with the lady at the reception.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel has the most amazing attention to detail in every aspect. The location was wonderful, central to the towns centre & easy to find. The room was incredibly clean, stylish, large & had every amenity you could wish for. The staff were friendly & helpful. Each night whilst you're out, the hotel's staff turn down your bed, close the curtains & leave a lovely treat on the table. Breakfast was fabulous, lots to choose from. The hotel's spa was fantastic after an all day hike with incredible views of the mountains. There's also a great little cafe downstairs with amazing chocolates & cakes. I can't give this hotel enough accolades, hopefully we'll be back again one day.

Pros: This was the best stay of our short trip. They gave us an upgraded room on arrival as the season was just starting and I think the hotel was still half empty but it was appreciated nonetheless. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly welcome, Paula spoke good English which is fortunate since I don't speak Italian! A generous amount of food provided for breakfast along with a decent coffee machine. If you're staying more than a night there's a fridge, hob and microwave so a small amount of self catering would be possible, but lots of restaurants in walking distance. The apartment is quiet and tucked away at the back of the house. The kitchen would be a bit snug if you are a family, but for 1 or 2 there's lots of space.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A complete apartment suitable for four people with own kitchen and bathroom
Cons: Nothing to fault
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little Bed and Breakfast near Bormio. Paola is a wonderful host and very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. But the best thing is the welcoming family atmosphere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Paola was very kind and helpful. We arrived after 10 p.m., tired of travelling and rain. We were on motorcycles. Paola was waiting for us with an umbrella, she offered us local cheeses and cold cuts, beer and wine. The conditions were fantastic, much better than we expected. The photos do not reflect the comfort. Thank you Paola!

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The appartment was spacious with all the facilities we needed. Beautiful quiet neighbourhood with lots to do and see. The owners are lovely and gave us good advice. I recommend this property.
Cons: When we arrived the gates were closed and nobody answered the gate buzzer. I had to squeeze between the gate and a bush to enter and find someone. After that everything was fine and we were given a guided tour of the property. This is like a rental so be prepared to make up your own bed when you arrive. No coffee or teas or bathroom soap but towels and toilet paper are supplied. There is a supermarket close by.

Pros: Brilliant location for cyclists. Great breakfast, lovely English speaking staff and a very friendly atmosphere. Very comfortable bar area and spa.

Cons: It takes some time before the water in the shower heats up.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Size of my room
Cons: Too expensive for what they offer (£1600 for 6 nights!) - on the pictures looks much, much better - it’s kind of B&B than hotel Very poor breakfast, every day same - bread, ham and cornflakes - but Supermarket is very close
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Family run and a working farm;fits perfectly in a stunning area. Very friendly, great service and a great base to explore this stunning region.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff were super friendly and helpful
Cons: Nothing
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Very nice view of Alps from the balcony, cozy room and convenient facilities, like elevator for luggage and electronic gate for late-coming-back guests. The next door is the house of cow, you can see it through the glass window in the cantee.
Cons: The set menu of dinner is not that delicious, we had pork chop and stewed deer meat, neither my wife nor me enjoyed it. So far the Italican wonton soup we had was a comfort.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Travelled to Bormio for the Granfondo cycle event. This was the only hotel with the rooms our group required. I cannot fault any part of our stay. A wonderful hotel with welcoming, helpful and attentive staff. It was full of other cyclists from seemingly most corners of Europe. Having said that, it is also popular with locals as a restaurant and was very busy over our stay. I have to say the quality of the restaurant is top notch and not expensive. Breakfast was good, but standard continental buffet style offerings. Rooms are spacious, most have balconies and the facilities are first class, with the important comfy beds. No hesitation in recommending this wonderful venue. Seeing the cows enjoy a "self-controlled" massage from a special machine installed for this purpose was a real treat.
Cons: A bit of a walk to town, but why would you need to with such a excellent restaurant. The bar area has restricted seating, but there is always outside!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I had the best view possible of the beautiful landscape of Northern Italy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent facility for outstanding value. Stag was super friendly and accommodating. Rooms were very spacious, well appointed and exceptionally clean. Price for the room was a bargain. I highly recommend this facility and look forward to returning.

Pros: Ostello Alpino is as friendly as it is spotlessly clean. Easy going dining area and beer garden are the perfect way to wind down after a days bike riding. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were super friendly!!
Cons: I liked everything!
10.0 Excellent
Cons: WiFi could be better
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The hostel is amazing, but there are certain disadvantages too. Common area is just perfect, a LOT of space, even with a beautiful back yard to relax. Everything is very well designed. Fabulous breakfast. Beds are comfortable. They even have a garage for bikes and motorcycles.
Cons: The house is located right next to the road, so the room gets a lot of noise from traffic. With windows closed it gets hot because there is no A/C. It is not possible to charge your devices in the room while you are away because you need to insert the key card to turn power on. Maids tend to enter rooms before check out time.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome experience to stay. Beautiful view, clean rooms, lovely staff.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location and view! Nice dinner, for 18 euro 3 courses of whatever is on the menu that day. Nice breakfast with variety of options and a nice cappuccino. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Language barrier, mostly only Italian speaking or a little bit German/English. This didn't match up with the reviews we saw. Unfortunately our Italian isn't great. However when needed we did manage to sort things out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location and welcoming staff!
7.0 Good
Pros: Moon at night over Ortles is breathtaking - daylight views are also spectacular.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The views are unrivalled and staying here is a real experience! It’s on top of a mountain and just at the top of the Stelvio Pass. The perfect place to stay as you plan to ride the pass. There is a 10 minute walk up to the hotel as you park up down below. You get excellent views of the pass and the surrounding area from up there. The staff are friendly and chatted to me. They have a good little bar and restaurant up there. The breakfast is good too. Honestly, staying here was the cherry on top of my trip at the Stelvio Pass! Would highly recommend it!

She even offered us a bigger room for a nominal charge, seeing as it was low season. Dinner was also excellent. Rooms were big enough, with clean sheets, clean room and simple decor.
Cons: The hike up to the hotel was broken up gravel, with steep drops. But hey, that's the price you have to pay for its uniqueness.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly, large dinner and good breakfast, very clean
Cons: Nothing of note. No latch to hold open window was only minor point.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect room , wonderful location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Sparkling clean and neatly designed
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location. Bormio is a beautiful village. Property is surrounded by mountains and if you are going to do the Stelvio bike ride the property couldn’t be better placed. Clean all the facilities you need and the shower is top draw
Cons: Portable fridge makes a right noise
7.0 Good
Pros: The apartment was clean and easy to check into. It was spacious and the bathroom was enormous.
Cons: I booked this place specifically because it said it had parking, which is only partly true. There is a communal parking lot behind the apartment, however it only holds like 4 cars (many of which seem to be residents and not guests?). I ended up having to pay extra to park. Also, the staff is very responsive, yet not always with accurate info. When asked how to get to the Thermal Baths, they pointed to a bus stop around the corner. The bus driver informed us that the bus only runs in summer months (we were there beginning march) and that we need to take a taxi or walk. Overall, I just wished things were accurate, which is why my score is low. If all you care about is a clean room and ease of access, then this is your choice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lots of very helpful information provided, a very large clean and comfortable room and private parking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, well renovated room, nice Nespresso machine and super host. You have everything you need.

Pros: Very clean, great location and overall great stay. Just check your emails for door code when checking in.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely helpful lady. Excellent with our son. Clean comfortable quiet rooms. Good private parking
Cons: Could not connect to the WiFi. No fridge/drinks in our room but there was in other rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, clean apartment, amazing view from the balcony. Nothing to complain about. Would stay again for sure.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Bormio is beautiful and the room was clean.
Cons: The room was ridiculously expensive for what it offered. Inside the room there is only a boiler so to prepare a nescafe with water from the bathroom, not a coffee machine, nothing! I would expect that for 140 euro per night at least I can have a decent coffee. It is embarrassing being in Italy and offer nescafe made by water from the bathroom! Keep in mind that Bormio is small and if you wake up early on Sunday there is nothing open that can offer you a coffee. If you like your morning coffee avoid this accommodation.

Pros: The apartments manager is very friendly and service oriented. She provided us with discounts on ski rental and advised us to go to Santa Caterina instead of Bormio for the kids ski class. All worked out very well. You can walk with ski boots to the piste 100m down the street and ski to the cabin lift.
Cons: There could have been a bit more kitchen ware (glasses, cutting board etc.) However all the basics were there.

Pros: Cycling friendly hotel, friendly and helpfull staff. Perfect location.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is lokated just near the pedestrian zone and has own parking. Rooms are cosy, well equipped in wooden style. Breakfast is good and hotel has bike room.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: I liked everything - perfect location - two minute's walk from the city centre and also you can cross the bridge and reach the funivia for skiing. The staff at reception is friendly and always ready to help. The room is cosy and well heated.
Cons: I didn't like two things. 1) The waitress at breakfast was rude and inefficient. Both times the guests had to ask her several times to fill the jars of juice and it took her a long while to do so. Even worse, when asked what flavour croissants they had she answered "It is all written on the tray" - which is very wrong as the guests are foreigners and they are not obliged to read in Italian. Altogether, the girl spoiled the impression a lot. 2) The matrimonial bed consisted of two separated mattresses and I kept falling into the hole between them )))
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very well run B&B, typical for Tyrol, a good breakfast, great location, clean and friendly staff. Offers free parking just beside the hotel!
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: What a lovely find. Loved everything about the hotel. The owners were so friendly. The hotel was tastefully decorated with lots of unusual things to look at. Everywhere was very clean. There was a secure room for our bikes and free parking. The room we had was stunning. We had a balcony and the view was amazing. Although the hotel was central it was peaceful. At night all you can hear is the river. We will definitely return
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the cozy wooden interiors of the hotel, from the breakfast room (breakfast was very good) to the interior of our room. Everything is spotless clean. The bathroom isn't exactly new but it's well equipped. Staff was welcoming and friendly. The view is amazing and the balcony roomy. This will not be my last visit.
Cons: One suggestion: you might want to consider adding sun chairs to the balconies.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous friendly hosts , super clean and a great location
Cons: Nothing to not like it was spot on

Featured amenities include a computer station, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spa baths and breakfast
Cons: Starting to age. Beds not that comfortable
6.3 Good
Pros: The thermal pools were lovely and made for a relaxing stay. The hotel/spa provided flip flops, towels and dressing gowns. The scenery and views were lovely. There was a large breakfast.
Cons: Unfortunately the main pool (where you can swim) is closed in the mornings until after 11am, after check out time. The spa and pool area was still being cleaned when it opened in the morning. The WiFi was very weak and the aircon did not work. Staff, though friendly in the spa, were unwelcoming at the reception and in breakfast. Unfortunately they had a standoffish attitude. In particular, the staff in the restaurant were rude and condensending. The food restaurant is emulating fine dining but without the substance. Our food was cold and poorly prepared. Due to the staff's attitude during service, we were not made to feel like we could raise this with them. When we spoke to management during check out, they did not offer us any refund or reduction to our meal cost but rather offered us a free candle. The hotel room itself is also filled with product placement, such as face cream samples that are still 'awaiting patent'.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful grand hotel that takes you back to an earlier age of elegance and beauty - perfect for a romantic getaway or to indulge in taking care of your mind and body. The hotel is lovely and the spa experience and facilities are a wonderful treat. The setting for this property is breathtaking with snow capped mountains and forested hillsides all around - peaceful, beautiful and spectacular. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed and the whole place is immaculate. There is a lovely bar to enjoy a drink, but unfortunately it only opens at 6.30. The restaurant is good and set in a beautiful grand old ballroom. Breakfast is also good with excellent pastries.
Cons: The lighting outside our room at the back of the hotel stayed on all night and was very, very bright. The curtains were not block out, so thus was a bit annoying.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: location, facilieties, the views are stunning, great breakfast, the dinning hall is great. dont forget to find a hidden bar on the first floor, drinks are great.
Cons: dinner is bad value for money - food is average at best and portions are small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spa, food
Cons: No shower curtain...

Pros: The accessibility of the spa is amazing and so convenient. Loved that all amenities were at the hotel - we didn’t have to leave till we checked out. I definitely recommend the dinner at the hotels restaurant and drinks at their bar after. Very accommodating service.
Cons: Everything was perfect except our bed - it was very hard to sleep on, felt like we were sleeping on cardboard.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely love this place but also like the old one up the mountain. It is a wonderful and relaxing place. It was quiet, not too busy, very beautiful, staff are very professional.
Cons: There was nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely city, people and place.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great place in great town. A perfect spot for cyclist or group of cyclists. Place is very cozy and comfortable - there is fully equipped common kitchen, which allows to prepare your own foods if you wish. Room was big enough for two people, with a lot of space for bags/clothes, so you can feel enough of space. We used a room with shared bathroom, which has everything what is needed, including wash machine. Claudia is very very helpful, offering her advice. You can't park in front of the place, but you can leave it in a place just few mins by walk, so no issue. Delicious breakfast (if you prefer sweat type of breakfast) with wonderful cappuccino , which is served in the bar run by Claudia on the ground floor.
Cons: If you like to sleep longer, it can be a bit noisy for you in the morning when the town starts to "live". But if you plan to wake up in the morning and go for bike or travel or sightseeing, that's is not an issue. During night it is very quiet.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Claudia was welcoming, helpful and really friendly. Breakfast was very filling and served with a smile every morning. When we required any information or help, she happily provided it to us.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice host and extremely clean
Cons: Breakefast could cantain some cheese and ham. It was mostly sugar-intense things like white bread and marmelade.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Claudia is very friendly and available for any issue.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast, great coffee
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything great
Cons: Nothing bad.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Claudia was a wonderful host. She was kind enough to stay up until midnight to let us in on our first night after broke down in out rental car. She provided an excellent breakfast of coffee, juice, a pancake, a croissant and bread rolls every morning. the B&B had three rooms that also had the beenfit of sharing a kitchen and dining area along with a washing machine in the large bathroom. This helped because it meant we could cook our own meals (a real bonus after many hours cycling in the nearby mountains). I had a twin room which was a good size and had lots of storage space. Teh B&B is very central and local shops are in the immediate vicinity. The B&B is a FANTASTIC base at the foor of the Stevlio and Gavia passes. The Mortirolo is not too far away either making it easy to access three of the most famous climbs in the Giro D'Italia. If it wasn't good enough already, all of this was for 260 euro for 4 nights. The B&B is amazing value for money. Claudia even told us where we could park our hire car free of charge, in safety, on the street instead of paying for parking in the local squre.
Cons: I would not change a thing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: + Excellent check in and out experience + Very comfortable bed + Lovely and charmy building + Perfect location, walking distance from the center and from some great restaurants + Excellent valute for money
Cons: - Just a little far from the slopes (abt 1km), although easily reachable by car, parkings are available and cheap
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Tasty breakfast with variable time (7-10 a. m.). Very friendly host. Fast WiFi. Huge storage space (wardrobes, drawers, bookshelves). Nice and well-equipped kitchen. Comfortable living room to meet others. Position in the historic centre, just 50 m from city museum. Bus transport for free with a skipass (bus stop 100 m from the door). Ski-slope reachable with the bus or 15 minutes of walk.
Cons: Light from the street during the whole night. Noise from the street and from the other rooms. Sockets only for small male-plugs in the room.

9.3 Excellent
Pros: The spa area was nice and so was the staff in general. Also the breakfast was good.
Cons: The room was furnished a long time ago, the colours are a bit dull. We didn't get any balcony. The garage and the parking on Saturday evening were full, when we came back after dinner, so we had to look for a parking in the neighborhood, which wasn't that easy.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient location. Helpful staff.
Cons: Rooms didn’t have a great outlook.
9.3 Excellent
Cons: Wi-fi
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, with a nice view. Staff very kind and always at our disposal. Large room with large windows, clean, temperature above normal. The breakfast of a 4 stars hotel, found everything and more, very appetizing.
Cons: The furnishings of the room dated, dark and sad atmosphere, the bathroom is the only one that I liked. The uncomfortable double bed made up of two single-spring mattresses (you can't sleep in a bed where you always fall in the middle), comfort 4/10, we woke up with a pained back. It was too hot, I had to open the windows to reach a pleasant temperature. The staff entered in the room 3 times without warning, it's not fair for my privacy, once the check in is done, the room service shouldn’t enter in the room except for the cleaning once per day. Parking too crowded for the number of rooms it has. The price a little high, I understand that the hotel have a swimming pool, fitness center and more, but maybe not all the people use them.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent. Very good restaurant, good service. Very good breakfast. The wellness area is nice.
Cons: Somewhat disappointing when coming with small children, since there is no indoors play room for children. I'd expect such a hotel to allocate a small space where very small babies can play on mattresses in a warm room (in the winter). Room service only operates during restaurant opening times, so if parents need something to feed a small child they cannot get it at the hotel. The rooms are not well equipped for preparing staff bought at the supermarket, so overall I'd say that staying at the hotel with very small children in challenging. The water pressure in our bathroom was very low, so the water was dripping. Also, the water temperature was fixed, and I couldn't make it hotter for a bath. So showers/baths were not enjoyable after skiing, and we had to go down to the spa for a good shower, yet in the open so one had to stay with the bathing suit on...
8.3 Excellent
Pros: nice big rooms. good facilities for cyclists, good and early breakfast too
Cons: ill working taps to get cold water out. horrible "spa" shower: impossible to regulate temperature, very little water
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Stayed for 2 nights with a friend for a weekend of cycling in the area. Extremely friendly staff upon check-in and check-out. Twin room was huge, offering a sitting area, table, and a large balcony area. Breakfast offered a large selection of standard fare (boiled eggs, pancakes, bacon, mueslis, breads, meats & cheese, fruits, etc). Spa are, while somewhat dated, was still nice for recovery after riding. Hotel was also very quiet at night. Late check-out was no trouble at all. Location only a 5 minute walk from downtown/old town. Great value for price paid, would return.
Cons: The hotel in general is showing its age somewhat and could certainly benefit from a refresh.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: the shuttle van to the ski-lifts. The pool and spa. The breakfast!
Cons: The room did not look like the pictures.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lobby and bar zone. Shuttle service to the ski lift.
Cons: Slow WiFi. Almost no coverage in the rooms. Did not like the sauna restriction only for adults.
