Pros: Charming old house. Spotless rooms, well appointed with antiques.
Cons: There is free internet, but the wifi connection was spotty and very slow.
Pros: Nice facilities for out of the way little town. Would highly recommend
Cons: Parking next to each room made for a lot of noise from people hitting the road early.
Clean, dated in age, helpful staff, lawn area a plus, spend minimum time in room.
Pros: Staff was very courteous. It's older style was helped by the large lawn area that gave it a spacious feel. Rooms were small but adequate. Breakfast at the Cain house was a plus.
Cons: Important to note that the motel is dated. The rooms are clean and there has been some definite updating but for the price paid it feels like one should have more included.
Overall the hotel was in a good location, clean, and had a great public area with lawns and lawn chairs and trees to offer shade. Easy to find on Main St. and the staff was very friendly and helpful. My only negative comment was that the hotel did not have air conditioning and it was warm at night. For the price it was satisfactory.
Pros: Location to the places visited. Clean. Friendly staff person. Easy to find.
Cons: NO AIR CONDITIONING... had to open windows to sleep (too hot) and when windows opened, I felt not as secure as I wanted to feel. Hard sleeping in the heat with only a fan to circulate the air. Sink was not draining.

Pros: The room was clean and the A/C and heat both worked very well. The desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: I wanted to check in early but the room wasn't ready. Understandable, but it would have been nice to have the option.
Enjoy your visit to Bridgeport with a stay at Ruby Inn. The spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day, and free perks include WiFi, self parking, and continental breakfast daily. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Was not able to take advantage of the continental breakfast. There was no seating.
The water ran hot and cold while in the shower. I'm not sure what the problem was. There wasn't anyone else using water in the room but this was very unpleasant.
Pros: It was in a convenient location.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable. Whenever I got out it made a sound like a spring was giving way. The room was tiny with just enough room to walk around the bed. You had to close the bathroom door to have enough room to sit on the toilet.
Pros: Location in Bridgeport.
Cons: Room was uncomfortably small. It was also dark.
Overall we were pleased with this Hotel, which is actually a very well converted Motor Lodge. The room was clean and comfortable with a rustic/fly fishing decor that we found appealing. There were several good restaurants close by to choose from.
Cons: Small space with very small tables in the breakfast area.
Don't rent the two-bedroom apartment online. They have 2 more that are on site but don't rent them online. Overall a nice place.
Pros: The two bedroom apartment is very big and complete.
Cons: The two-bedroom apartment they rent to those online is 1/4 mile away from the rest of the Motel. No grass, next to a storage yard.
Pros: So cute, great location. Everything about it was wonderful!!
Love it. Will be back in July.
Pros: The room was beautiful!! Clean, big bathroom. Hair dryer, coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave, and wifi. They did not skimp on anything!!
Cons: We weren't there long enough!!!
Enjoy your visit to Bridgeport with a stay at Walker River Lodge. You can get a morning swim in at the seasonal outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Small rooms, old sanitary, very bad breakfast. Way to expensive for what they offer. Creepy place, bad restaurants.
Pros: Good staff. Everything worked ok.
Cons: Old trailer, things broken or well used. Odd facility hookup for a rather permanent accommodation. But everything worked.
Pros: It convenient.
Cons: It was pricey .
Pros: Room was clean.
Cons: Looked like a junkyard with discarded equipment laying in many public areas of the motel grounds.
Pros: Location is perfect for fishing at many different places.
Cons: TV channel selection was weak.
Cons: Walls are paper thin. Can hear people talking, people taking showers etc. Continental breakfast was a joke. Take a juice & tiny roll to your room the night before. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
Cons: Impossible to take a shower due to an extremly low water pressure. Also most of the shower head holes are pluged up and need to be cleaned. I choose not to take a shower in the morning because my evening shower experince was horrible.
Cons: the manager humilated us by taping a sign on our door in big red ink.
When visiting Bridgeport, Redwood Motel is a great choice to consider. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Pros: Great hotel! Quaint and adorable. Wonderful view. Definitely would visit again!
Pros: We loved all the usb plugs in the room. We also loved the view we made it back just in time to watch the sunset from the from picnic table/fire-pit area.
Pros: The bed is confortable and the inclusion of an refrigerator is good idea
Cons: The lack of air condition
Had a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and hot water machine. Gas room heater's pilot light was out and the staff didn't have anything to relight it, but we were still plenty warm at night with the multiple electric space heaters they provided with the room.
Pros: A rustic but clean small town hotel that specializes in supporting outdoors-men/women and fisher-men/women. It was comfortable and met all of our needs.
Cons: No major problems with the hotel. Very minor: With our room (that had the 2 queen beds) moving around was a little tight.
Pros: Room was clean.
Cons: The room was about 50 yards away from the 395 High Way so traffic noise was intolerable. The room was far too small to accommodate two queen size beds and space for anything was a problem. It is situated way out of town so if you require anything you ha
Pros: Staff, excellent service, clean rooms
Cons: priceboard in front of location offering ---$ per night. i had to pay over ----$ :-(
Pros: It is perfectly located on the 395 as you travIt was comfortable and clean enough. The only drawback was the smell from the refrigerator but what can you expect at a fish camp? We would definitely go back to Big Meadow Lodge! It
Cons: Smelly fridge-
Pros: liked the cabin feel and was very clean with a good access
Cons: would not stay in double cabin the cabin next door was very loud
Pros: This is a very affordable, but super cute place. Rooms are small, but at least they have a little character. I've stayed in a lot of the hotels in Bridgeport and this place I'd come back to.
Cons: It's a little close to Hwy 395 so you pick up a little freeway noise, but it's tolerable.
Pros: Cute fishing calbin. Small but clean and warm.
Cons: If you have some neighbours you can hear them breathing... Walls are super theak...
Pros: Location, near Yosemite park.
Cons: No airconditioning and bed was too soft. Not worth three stars.
For the price, I'd definitely go there again!
Pros: Friendly staff, great price, beautiful views!
Cons: Tight quarters; thin walls
