Badgers Hall is a lovely, historic B &B. The dark beams and white plaster walls provide a feeling of antiquity. The warmth of a fire in the tearoom made eating breakfast there and lounging there after hours very pleasant. We were immediately welcomed by Karen and Paul, who looked after us so well during our stay. Karen even sent along a bag of freshly baked scones for our journey the day we left. We'd definitely stay there again.
Pros: The location was great,on the main street. The innkeepers,Karen and Paul were friendly, helpful, welcoming, even leaving cookies for us in our lovely room!Being able to select what we wanted for breakfast the night before was plus.A fine start for our trip.
Cons: Having to enter with our luggage through the customer-filled tearoom was a little unwieldy.Parking is also a little difficult.

Pros: Meals and breakfast excellent. Room excellent. Staff pleasant and couldn't do enough for you.
Cons: No bad points really except not being able to book in until 6.00 pm
Pros: The breakfast was better than some 5 star hotels we've stayed in as was the evening meal.
Pros: Rooms were very nice, modern but classical. Food was excellent.
Cons: Check-in can be slightly problematic as it is only available when the bar is open, which is after 6pm mid-week.
Pros: Charming location, very atmospheric pub / hotel with old world feel. Staff very helpful and competent. Food excellent. Bed very comfortable. Clean throughout
Cons: No shower over bath (I believe due to water tank installation problems). Lighting in room not in keeping with decor. Decor a little faded in both the bedroom and bathroom. Access to room from pub / outside rather tatty. Food, although, as above, excellent was rather expensive.
