Pros: Everything it was such a pleasure to stay somewhere that made you feel at home straight away without being and imposing .Ciaren and Cheryl are the most lovely people. They take not only a pride in their house but in making your stay just perfect. The rooms are spotless and so comfy as was the bed and pillows not always the case in other places. Cons: The food was good in the evening but a little overpriced and the dining room lacked atmosphere. Service was good but could have been a little more polished. Pros: I loved all the little extras ege the offer for tea/coffee to be brought to the room, lovely biscuits and bottles of water replenished daily, and a little bag with water and apples for the journey home. It was my husband's birthday and there was a card and balloon in the room on arrival.

Forest Park Hotel - Brockenhurst - Building
11
8.9 Excellent (1,482 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in New Forest District, this hotel is within 12 mi (20 km) of Beaulieu National Motor Museum, Highcliffe Castle, and Peppa Pig World. Paultons Family Theme Park and Mudeford Quay are also within 16 mi (25 km). Brockenhurst Station is 16 minutes by foot.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Overall we were very happy with the hotel, all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal location for walkers within The New Forest. Meals were of a good quality and value. Tea and coffee in the room was not just confined to one teabag and one coffee sachet so we were able to have tea and coffee throughout our stay (with biscuits). Drink prices in the bar and restaurant were more on a par with a pub than a hotel (based on our experiences with London prices) and had a large selection of wines, beers and spirits. The barman was very helpful with excellent knowledge and advice. Although we did not take advantage there was a selection of wellington boots and dog towels in the porch
Cons: One small criticism is that some of the serving staff did not wear obvious nametags so it is difficult to single them out individually for praise. There was an area (apparently leading to room 118) which appeared to be used for the storage of broken furniture and staff rest and perhaps should have had a door rather than a curtain which was not always pulled across leaving it available to view.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff. Delicious food. Comfy bed.
Cons: No usb charging points in the room would be a great addition
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was extremely comfortable and met all of our needs. The hotel facilities were excellent and as well as breakfast, which gave us a good variety of food and was very tasty, I can highly recommend the restaurant for the evening. Service was great and the food was stunning.

The house and room was tidy. Good communication from host when there was a powercut, she got back to me with information very quickly.

Pros: Absolutely fab lovely staff caring helpful really really good
Cons: Loved it
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, lovely staff, good sized room.
Cons: Not an easy walk to the bus and neighbouring places to visit. Best with a car I'd say. Shower a but small and right on road so is loud.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff was really friendly, helpful. Even had time to play with a grandson.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like
7.9 Good
Pros: Asked for a 3 person room, but got 2 rooms for single price! Great value. Nice pleasant location
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The location from Carey’s manor was good as only 4 minutes and can get a room for £110 including 3 breakfasts
Cons: The sewage was making the rooms smell to high heaven and also you would of had to sleep with the doors open as the smell was absolutely awful, I had to use a spray as I couldn’t leave the door open as it was a risk as someone it been drinking could walk on to the roof not realising that it was a health and safety risk.
6.7 Good
Pros: The Full english breakfast was cooked well. Nice bacon
Cons: The jams and marmalade would have been much nicer if not the mass produced little pots of slightly fruity jelly. Perhaps some local jams plus honey. No porridge or kippers offered. Far too much smoked salmon served with the scrambled egg. A small side plate for the toast would be better
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: View and accessibility for taking dog for walks.
Cons: Front facing bedroom with horrendous traffic noise and due to no blackout blinds the constant headlights, kept you awake. No chairs to sit on , only the bed. Breakfast was good, but no side plate or knife for toast. With three star AA rating it was not what we expected.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location with really friendly staff and the best food!
Cons: Bedrooms were very comfortable but a bit dated

Pros: The ambiance, grounds and architecture
Cons: Rather a long way to walk from lounge to dining rooms
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel And grounds in a wonderful location. The room was clean and finished to a good standard. The heated outside pool was great and the atmosphere in the bar was good. The general manager is well experienced, customer focused and friendly.
Cons: The food was good in the evening but a little overpriced and the dining room lacked atmosphere. Service was good but could have been a little more polished. Check out didn’t go smoothly and I had twice the amount for the stay taken from my card and had to wait a week to have it returned to my account. We would still recommend the hotel though and had a lovely stay celebrating an anniversary.

Pros: Breakfast had an excellent choice, and the portions were very good. Beautiful location and grounds, right in the middle of the forest great for walks. Our whole stay very relaxing which was what we were looking for!
Cons: Not sure how many times you change the dinner menu, if you were staying more than a couple of nights then the choice may come a bit limited.

7.9 Good
Pros: The staff are all incredibly friendly and the location spectacular!
Cons: The room and bed was too small in comparison to other similar priced hotels and the room service menu is limited. No fridge in the room meant I had to keep asking for ice for the water provided.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I loved all the little extras ege the offer for tea/coffee to be brought to the room, lovely biscuits and bottles of water replenished daily, and a little bag with water and apples for the journey home. It was my husband's birthday and there was a card and balloon in the room on arrival.
Cons: It was a shame that the main restaurant was closed both evenings we were there. We did know before we went but the date was fixed as it was a birthday.
